The Effect of Ammonium Concentration Addition to Gracilaria sp. on The Absorption of Mercury 添加铵浓度对江蓠对汞吸收的影响

The research was conducted from March to June 2015 in the laboratory of Marine Science of the faculty of FPIK UNPAD. The sampling of Gracilaria sp. was taken from a seaweed farming in Kalianda, Bandar Lampung Province. The aim of conducting this research is to investigate the effect of Ammonium addition to Gracilaria sp. on the absorption process of Mercury. The proportion amount of 10.5-gram Gracilaria sp.  used in this research is mixed with 3 litres seawater media. The research method was performed using Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. Parameters for the measurements are water quality, reduction of mercury and ammonium concentration, bio concentration factor, and growth rate. The research was designed with an addition of 0.05 ppm Mercury in all treatments, where each treatment was given different concentrations of Ammonium as follows: treatment A: 0.5 ppm, treatment B: 1 ppm, and treatment C: 1.5 ppm, with no addition of Ammonium for Control Treatment. The result of this research showed that treatment C hit the highest absorption level in absorbing Ammonium and Mercury with their concentrations of 95.98% and 56.44% respectively in seawater media, while the concentration of Mercury in the Gracilaria sp. biomass was measured 0.47 ppm.Keywords: Absorption, Ammonium, Gracilaria sp., Phytoremediation, Mercury.
研究于2015年3月至6月在FPIK UNPAD学院海洋科学实验室进行。紫菜属的样本取自楠榜省卡利安达的一个海藻养殖场。本研究的目的是探讨铵对紫菜吸附汞过程的影响。本研究中使用的比例量为10.5 g黄蓠与3升海水培养基混合。研究方法采用完全随机设计(CRD), 4个处理,3个重复。测量参数为水质、汞和铵浓度的减少、生物浓度因子和生长速率。本研究设计在所有处理中添加0.05 ppm汞,其中每个处理给予不同浓度的铵:处理A: 0.5 ppm,处理B: 1 ppm,处理C: 1.5 ppm,不添加铵作为对照处理。本研究结果表明,处理C对海水介质中铵态氮和汞的吸收量最高,分别为95.98%和56.44%,而江蓠生物量中汞的浓度为0.47 ppm。关键词:吸附,铵,江蓠,植物修复,汞

Pertumbuhan Lamun Enhalus acoroides Di Perairan Desa Pangkil Kecamatan Teluk Bintan Kabupaten Bintan

ABSTRACTPangkil Village is one of the villages located in Teluk Bintan District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province which has potential for seagrass resources, especially the type of Enhalus acoroides. This study aims to examine the growth response of seagrass E. acoroides to differences in water quality in the waters of Pangkil Village. This research was conducted in September to November 2020. The stations in sampling site was determined by purposive sampling method, there were 4 sampling stations, namely: shipping activity, boat mooring activities, catching shellfish activity, and no activity of the community (mangrove area). The measurement of the growth rate of seagrass leaves was useds the marking method on young and undamaged leaves using a cable tie. Leaf growth was observation for 60 days with intervals of 15 days. The water quality in Pangkil Village Waters meets quality standards. The highest density value of Enhalus acoroides seagrass was in the shipping activity of 64.67 ind/m2. The highest growth rate of seagrass after 60 days on Enhalus acoroides seagrass leaves was in the boat mooring activity area with value 0.401 cm/day, while the lowest growth rate of Enhalus acoroides leaves was in the area of catching shellfish activity of 0.383 cm/day.Keywords: Enhalus acoroides. density, growth rate, Pangkil WatersABSTRAKDesa Pangkil merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Teluk Bintan, Kabupaten Bintan, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya lamun, khususnya jenis Enhalus acoroides. Penentuan stasiun ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, terdapat 4 stasiun pengambilan sampel yaitu: stasiun 1 merupakan wilayah perairan dengan aktivitas pelayaran (dermaga), stasiun 2 merupakan wilayah aktivitas tambatan perahu (jatty), stasiun 3 merupakan wilayah adanya aktivitas penduduk tangkap kerang, dan stasiun 4 merupakan wilayah tidak ada aktivitas penduduk (wilayah mangrove). Pengukuran laju pertumbuhan daun lamun mengunakan metode penandaan pada daun yang muda dan tidak rusak menggunakaan kabel ties. Pengamatan pertumbuhan daun selama 60 hari dengan interval waktu 15 hari sekali. Kualitas perairan fisika dan kimia di Desa Pangkil memenuhi baku mutu. Nilai kerapatan lamun Enhalus acoroides tertinggi pada berada pada aktivitas pelayaran (dermaga) sebesar 64,67 ind/m2.  Laju pertumbuhan lamun tertinggi setelah 60 hari pada daun lamun Enhalus acoroides yaitu pada wilayah aktivitas tambatan perahu (jatty) sebesar 0,401 cm/hari, sedangkan laju pertumbuhan daun lamun Enhalus acoroides terendah dapat wilayah aktivitas penduduk berupa aktivitas penangkapan kerang  sebesar 0,383 cm/hari.Kata kunci: Enhalus acoroides, kerapatan, laju pertumbuhan, Perairan Pangkil.

Pemetaan Terumbu Karang Menggunakan Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Di Selatan Pulau Tikus Kota Bengkulu

ABSTRACTRemote sensing can be interpreted as a technology to obtain information on an object on the earth's surface without direct contact with the object to be studied. Along with the development of current technology, the creation of unmanned aircraft technology or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This research was conducted in June 2020 in the southern waters of Tikus Island. The results of mapping coral reefs in the South of Tikus Island using the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) obtained an area of 58.22 ha of Tikus Island South and got four classes, namely the living coral area of 15.34 ha. , Dead Coral and Algae 15.60 ha, Sand 8.08 ha, and Rubble 19.20 ha. Accuracy gets a value of 83.3% and this becomes the accuracy of image data with high resolution.Keywords: UAV, Mapping, Coral reefs, Aerial photography, Tikus Island.ABSTRAKPenginderaan jauh dapat diartikan sebagai teknologi untuk memperoleh informasi suatu objek di permukaan bumi tanpa kontak langsung ke objek yang akan dikaji. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi saat ini terciptanya teknologi pesawat tanpa awak atau UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2020  di Perairan Selatan Pulau Tikus, Hasil pemetaan terumbu karang di Selatan Pulau Tikus Menggunakan UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) mendapatkan Luasan Area Selatan Pulau Tikus 58,22 ha dan mendapatkan empat kelas yaitu luasan Karang hidup 15,34 ha, Karang Mati dan Algae 15,60 ha, Pasir 8,08 ha, dan Rubble  19,20 ha. Akurasi mendapatkan nilai 83.3% dan ini menjadi akurasi data citra dengan resolusi tinggi.Kata Kunci: UAV, Pemetaan, Terumbu karang,  Foto udara, Pulau Tikus.

Accuracy gets a value of 83.3% and this becomes the accuracy of image data with high resolution.Keywords: UAV, Mapping, Coral reefs, Aerial photography, Tikus Island.ABSTRAKPenginderaan jauh dapat diartikan sebagai teknologi untuk memperoleh informasi suatu objek di permukaan bumi tanpa kontak langsung ke objek yang akan dikaji. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi saat ini terciptanya teknologi pesawat tanpa awak atau UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2020  di Perairan Selatan Pulau Tikus, Hasil pemetaan terumbu karang di Selatan Pulau Tikus Menggunakan UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) mendapatkan Luasan Area Selatan Pulau Tikus 58,22 ha dan mendapatkan empat kelas yaitu luasan Karang hidup 15,34 ha, Karang Mati dan Algae 15,60 ha, Pasir 8,08 ha, dan Rubble  19,20 ha. Struktur Populasi Ikan Endemik Banggai Cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) Yang Diintroduksi Di Perairan Pulau Bokori – Sulawesi Tenggara

ABSTRACTBanggai cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) has been introduced and has spread around Bokori Island, Southeast Sulawesi. This study aims to determine the population of P. kauderni in the waters of Bokori Island from the aspect of density, body length distribution, and microhabitat. This study used the belt transect method at three observation stations, with three replications for each station to observe of the fish population’s density. Overall, fish density is in the range of 13.67±1.53 individuals/100 m2 to 36.67±4.62 individuals/100 m2. The distribution of fish body size (Total Length/TL) that is observed varies moderately, ranging from 0.5 cm to 5.5 cm. Microhabitat preferences that are associated with fish include sea anemones (57.3%), coral Millepora (28.5%), and sea urchins Diadema (14.2%). Tingkat Kelulusan Hidup Propagul Rhizophora sp. Di Area Restorasi Mangrove Pada Kawasan Pesisir Tanjung Pisau Dan Tanah Merah, Kabupaten Bintan

ABSTRACTThis research is based on the importance of the role of mangroves to the needs of coastal ecosystems, because they have high economic and ecological value. The main problem in the mangrove ecosystem is the occurrence of logging and degradation for several purposes and purposes. Therefore, it is necessary to understand and understand the importance of rehabilitation and restoration, especially for the Bintan Regency area. So far, the restoration that has been carried out is using the seedling method. Mangrove Restoration Activities in the Tanah Merah and Tanjung Pisau areas, Bintan Regency using Rhizophora sp. The purpose of the study was to determine the survival rate and the level of community awareness of mangrove restoration activities in the coastal areas of Tanjung Pisau and Tanah Merah, Bintan Regency. This research uses purposive sampling method. Determination of sampling points in accordance with the points selected in government programs that have been carried out by taking into account the ability to represent each region. Monitoring is carried out using plots where in 1 plot there will be 33 mangroves planted with a 3x1 pattern, and 10 plots will be monitored for each area. The results showed that the survival rate for each region was Tanah Merah 58% and Tanjung Pisau 85% which were quite successful. Maka dari itu, perlunya memahami dan mengerti akan pentingnya rehabilitasi dan restorasi terutama untuk kawasan daerah Kabupaten Bintan. Selama ini restorasi yang telah dilakukan menggunakan cara pembibitan(penyemaian). Kegiatan Restorasi Mangrove pada wilayah Tanah Merah dan Tanjung Pisau, Kabupaten Bintan menggunakan cara pembenihan propagul Rhizophoran sp. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kelulusan hidup dan tingkat kepedulian (awareness) masyarakat terhadap kegiatan Restorasi mangrove pada kawasan pesisir Tanjung Pisau dan Tanah Merah, Kabupaten Bintan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Penentuan titik sampling sesuai dengan titik yang dipilih dalam program pemerintah yang sudah dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kecakupan mewakili setiap daerahnya. Pemantauan dilakukan dengan menggunakan plot dimana dalam 1 plot akan didapati 33 mangrove yang ditanam dengan pola 3x1, dan akan dipantau 10 plot untuk masing-masing wilayah.
