The article describes a method of setting the requirements for reliability of a power supply system, which could be applied in the context of limited source data. This work considers questions of reliability apportionment between systems of a facility with the view to set the requirements for reliability of a power supply system. The study evaluates possibility of application of source data based on a priori reliability indexes of comparables in order to apportion the requirements. The study describes main stages of significance estimation of the systems of a facility using functional topological method that was adjusted by the authors to be applied to any complex system consisting of nonhomogeneous components. The article presents mathematical models of reliability apportionment that define requirements depending on level of significance of facility systems with regard to the probability function of reliability of the facility.

Further development of power engineering may be with the usage of renewable sources of energy. For this purpose a number of stimulating measures on active usage of renewable energy are worked out and functioned. The development of renewable power engineering is on the way of production of electric power with the great power facilities. In heat power the renewable energy is little used on different reasons, in particular because of the development of decentralized system of heat supply, the part of which is 57% in Russia. It makes definite difficulties in search of interested investors. The results of research on defining the economic indices of the system of heat supply on the example of the usage of low potential heat of the groundwater with the help of heat pump installation are shown in the article. Existing methods of economic evaluation of projects using renewable sources are given. On levelized cost of heat energy the effectiveness of using heat pump installation in the conditions of South Ural in 50% providing with consumer heat energy is proved, remaining part is provided with the burning of traditionally used energy resource.

Is investigated statistics of refusals of the rotors speed measurement unit of a gas turbine unit (GTU). The major factors leading to critical decrease in reliability of measurement are found. Mathematical dependences for assessment of noise immunity of rotors speed measurement system are found. Criteria of increase in noise immunity of system of measurement are revealed. Effective methods of increase in reliability of measurement are found. The method of calculation of parameters of components of the low pass filter for measurement process optimization is offered. The comparative research of two methods of measurement of rotors speed is conducted: a method with use of the induction sensor and a method with use of the sensor on the basis of Hall's effect. Advantages of the second method of measurement are revealed.

This study describes investigation of a cooled vane trailing edge part devoted to the temperature distribution smoothening without the film cooling addition. The investigation subject is a slot channel with a perforated deflector. The cooling air is supplied through corridor located orifices and its wall cooled with streams. The side flow influence may be mitigated by shading ribs installed upstream the last three rows of the air supply orifices. The computer simulation with ANSYS CFX code at fixed pressure drops at the channel inlet and exit shows a 40–45% heat flux increase combined with the 24% cooling air massflow reduction. The intensive flow turbulence after the ribs reduces the area with low heat transfer efficiency. The turbine operation analysis shows that the ribs may improve the cooling efficiency for 25–30%.

The article deals with the problem of synthesis of nonlinear regulator of control system for non-affine stationary plant with known constant statement delay. The plant is functions in periodic modes in the presence of constantly acting external perturbations and parametric uncertainty. As solution methods the hyperstability criterion, the fast-acting dynamic corrector, and $boldsymbol{L}$-dissipativity conditions are used. The key stage of the synthesis is the receipt for V. M. Popov's inequality special integral estimates that are ensure the fulfillment of the control goal. In final part of the article with the help of simulation the dynamic processes taking place in the proposed management system, which indicate its high quality are being visually illustrated.

Opportunities of application of the approaches of known scientists to the information measurement are analyzed. The structure of a technical system is proposed as the object of measurement. This structure is characterized by the amount of system elements, possible number and probabilities of its states. Classical mathematical expressions of information theory are presented and the possibilities of their application for determining the information amount and information entropy are established. The issues of accumulation, removal of uncertainty and regulations of the variety of information with reference to considering structures of system are touched.

A promising direction in the development of fruit juice processing machines is the use of a pulsed power electric drive, which is based on a stepped linear electromagnetic engine. One of the main output indicators of the electromagnetic press for squeezing juice is the pulling force of the stepping linear electromagnetic engine, which does not remain unchanged as the rod moves with the piston and the compression of the pulp. In practice, typically, the amount of the supply voltage is selected so as to provide an upper limit of the range of tractive effort to ensure the completion of the juice extraction process. However, the excess of electrical and mechanical energy at the initial stage of the process leads to overheating of the winding, reduces the mechanical life of the moving parts of the stepping linear electromagnetic engine. In this paper, we propose the approach to the realization of automatic correction of the output traction of a stepping linear electromagnetic engine in the electromechanical discrete system in the process of compression of pulp to obtain juice.

In this paper the authors investigated the patented design of a combined supersonic separator (CSS). CSS is a counter flow three-flow vortex tube with an energy separation chamber in the form of a Laval nozzle that can be used to prepare hydrocarbon gas for transport as well as to prepare hydrocarbon gas for using as fuel in power units on oil and gas fields. Experimental data obtained during operation of a combined supersonic separator in dry and moist air are shown. Dependence of temperature efficiency of a CSS on of cold flow ratio is given. Data on the separation efficiency of a CSS in comparison with a three-flow vortex (TVT) tube are obtained.

This paper studies asymmetrical voltage sags caused by single phase short circuits appearing in power grids. Research defines the worst case fault conditions and shows their impact on stability of high voltage synchronous motors. Calculations done within the research take into account the distribution of voltage and current symmetrical components in power-supply system elements. Power supply system model was developed in the Matlab program in order to study stability of synchronous motors during voltage sags. The motor in the model is equipped with static exciter that enables us to account the impact of sag on motors excitation winding. The paper also shows fault appearance time (initial point on wave influence) as one of the worst case fault conditions. Finally research proposes the methodology developed to assess synchronous motor stability (calculation of the fault critical duration) under discovered worst case fault conditions. Results of the research could be used to calibrate protective relays used in power supply grids of oil and gas transportation systems equipped with powerful synchronous motors.

The paper presents a wavelet-fuzzy controller of a field-oriented control system of belt conveyor drive. A discrete wavelet transform is used to decompose the speed error signal into various frequency components. The transformed error coefficients and scaling coefficients are used to generate the motor control signal The proposed controller is satisfied the speed control problem for a closed control system. The field-oriented control scheme with a wavelet-fuzzy controller under various dynamic operating conditions was investigated. The results of the comparison of the work of the traditional PI controller and the proposed wavelet-fuzzy controller are presented. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed wavelet-fuzzy controller. Application of the proposed approach of the wavelet-fuzzy controller allows reducing of electromagnetic moment vibrations.

The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed wavelet-fuzzy controller.
