Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a health disorder in the cardiovascular system where cases have a mortality rate of 6.7 million cases in 2018. CHD is a dangerous disease in the Southeast Asian region, including Indonesia. The prevalence of CHD in North Sumatra is 0.5%. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) action is a technique to open blood vessels and return blood through the coronary arteries. In carrying out proper PCI operations, interventions are needed that can reduce the anxiety of pre-PCI patients, namely The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Service activities are carried out through outreach activities through several methods of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The number of participants in this PkM activity was 15 nursing staff at the Lubuk Pakam Grandmed Hospital. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique, where the sample of male nursing staff was 4 people and 11 female nursing staff. The activity begins with giving a pre-test and ends with a post-test. The results of the dedication show that the level of anxiety can be reduced by administering Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) therapy. The percent increase in knowledge of the largest and smallest PkM participants is 25% and 15%. The average value of increasing the knowledge of PkM participants after being given socialization was 20%. This socialization activity has succeeded in providing benefits for PkM participants in increasing PkM participants' knowledge about the effect of EFT.

Every company tries to provide the best service to its customers. Various ways and efforts are made by the company to make it happen. However, not infrequently many companies are not aware that the workload given to their employees is above normal limits which causes employees to experience stress. Job stress occurs because there are sources or work stressors that cause individuals to experience excessive pressure imposed on them due to too many demands, obstacles or opportunities. Employees are required to work faster, more diligently and more tenaciously to achieve the company's business targets. Employee productivity will decrease when employees experience stress. If employees experience stress, it will ultimately damage performance within the company itself. In order for the stress experienced by employees to be well controlled, it is necessary to carry out stress management. Coping is an attempt to deal with a problem experienced by someone. Coping that everyone does will be different. This community service activity aims to explain tips on managing stress that occurs in every employee. PT. Pelita Adi Pratama Tanjung Balai was the target of this community service activity. This activity was carried out in March 2023 with a total of 51 participants. The method of implementing this community service is by providing direct education to employees regarding tips on managing stress through presentation of power points that have been prepared by the team. In carrying out this activity, the participants were very enthusiastic about the delivery of the material provided by the team. It is expected that every company pays attention to the workload given to employees so that worker productivity remains good and when the workload given is excessive, rewards need to be given so that workers remain happy and not stressed even though the burden given is excessive.

The Family Planning (KB) program has a role in reducing the population's birth rate so that fertility and birth rates can be controlled. Regulating the spacing of pregnancies, birth spacing, and determining the number of children in a family are expected to reduce population growth. The family planning program was initiated by the government to reduce the population explosion. Many factors influence couples of childbearing age in choosing the right contraception. For example, the weight factor changes due to use, and experiencing allergies. Some of the mothers also set the time of birth. Implants are very effective but still quite low. Where the implant can be removed at any time, is not dangerous, and does not affect sexual activity. Service activities are carried out through lectures, discussions, and education methods. The number of participants in this PkM activity was 10 health workers at the Gonting Malaha Health Center. The activity begins with the provision of pretest and posttest which are presented in written form and are of course related to the material to be taught. The results of PkM activities through education show that it is the low knowledge factor that causes couples not to choose implant contraception, namely 60%. Knowledge, education, and parity factors influence couples in choosing implant contraception with a p-value less than 0.05. PkM participant post-test scores always increased after being given education with the highest increase of 25% and the lowest increase of 20%. The average increase in knowledge of all PkM participants increased to 23% when compared to the beginning. So it can be stated that this PKM activity has succeeded in educating PKM participants in knowing the factors of partners in choosing implant contraception.

Malnutrition is a nutritional problem that is still quite a lot in Indonesia and still really needs to be addressed so it doesn't have negative impacts that are detrimental to both the toddlers themselves or their families and the country. The prevalence of malnutrition in Indonesia is still high and needs to be addressed and prevented so that the number does not increase. One of the factors that can cause a toddler to be malnourished is the mother's lack of knowledge regarding well balanced nutrition to give to toddlers. Therefore, in this service, balanced nutrition socialization is carried out for mothers of toddlers in an effort to prevent malnutrition in toddlers. This community service activity was carried out at the Rugun Midwife Independent Work Practice Clinic on May 10-16 2023. This community service activity was carried out in the form of socialization and was carried out in several stages, namely planning, education and final evaluation. The results of this activity show that mothers under five are very enthusiastic in participating in activities and listening to what is conveyed by the speakers. This is also shown by the results of the pre-test and post-test which show that the mother's knowledge after being given socialization increases in a better direction. It is necessary to carry out further analysis related to changes in attitudes and behavior of mothers under five in an effort to prevent malnutrition in toddlers at the Rugun Midwife Independent Work Practice Clinic.

This PKM activity succeeded in providing direct information regarding the profession of professional health workers who are globally competitive at the national and international levels to students of SMKN 3 Medan who will complete their education (graduates) and are interested in continuing to higher education as shown by the enthusiasm of the activity participants in asking several questions to MLP Inkes lecturer.","PeriodicalId":17800,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL PENGMAS KESTRA (JPK)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136369001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
Diarrhea is an endemic disease in Indonesia and is also a disease that can potentially cause extraordinary events that are often accompanied by death. Escherichia coli is a commensal bacterium, intestinal pathogen and extraintestinal pathogen that can cause urinary tract infections, meningitis, and septicemia. Most of the E. coli bacteria are in the digestive tract of animals as well as humans and are normal flora, but some are pathogenic that can cause diarrhea in humans (Bettelheim, 2000). Water is very potential in the spread of various diseases, for example water contaminated by pathogens and drunk by humans can cause disease (water born disease). Food and water contamination has been identified as a potential source of the spread of Escherichia coli pathogenicity in humans. The method has the disadvantage of taking a long time, a large number of samples, and an incorrect reading method of results. PCR technique is one of the molecular techniques used to identify infectious diseases caused by Escherchia coli. This method has many advantages that can produce accurate, fast, specific product amplification, requiring a small number of samples. and this method can be used to overcome the weaknesses of conventional diagnostics (cultures). The purpose of this study was to socialize the detection of Escherichia coli bacteria in well water samples by culture and PCR methods. From the examination that has been done obtained the results of cultural examination obtained colonies that grow on the medium Mac Conkey To appear round, flat edges, smooth surface with the color of the colony, then the results of pcr examination obtained 239 bp, which means bacteria found from the isolation of well water samples in the bottom of the identic pakam with Escherichia coli.As well as workshop participants can follow and understand the materials submitted and also the examination procedures carried out.

Gnetum gnemon L. has antibacterial activity against Salmonella typhi because it contains flavonoids, saponins, tannins, alkaloids, and steroids. Where these compounds play an important role as an antibacterial. The purpose of this service is to provide information to the public regarding the benefits of melinjo leaves which can act as an antibacterial agent. This service activity is carried out in the form of socialization using lecture, question and answer, and demonstration methods. The number of participants in this community service activity was 20 pharmacists at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. Based on the results of the PkM activities carried out, it can be stated that there has been an increase in public knowledge regarding the efficacy of melinjo leaves as an antibacterial substance. This can be proven by the increase in post-test scores when compared to pre-test scores. The average increase in the knowledge of PkM participants was 21.5. On the other hand, the highest post-test score obtained was 85, while the lowest post-test score was 60. Meanwhile, based on the PkM material that had been socialized, the PkM participants understood that the results of phytochemical tests on melinjo leaf Simplicia showed that melinjo leaf extract contains compounds alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, saponins, and tannins. Meanwhile, the antibacterial test showed that the inhibition zones of various concentrations included a moderate concentration of 40%, a moderate category of 60%, and a strong category of 80%. The average diameter of the inhibition zone increased with each concentration of melinjo leaves.
