Factors Affecting Service Per Conception of Ongole Cross-breed Cattles in Tanjung Sari District 影响丹戎萨里地区翁戈勒杂交牛每胎服务的因素

One of the parameters to see the reproductive performance of cattle is service per conception (S/C). The lack of information on important factors affecting S/C in Ongole Cross-breed (PO) cattles breeding underlies this research. The analysis in this research was linear regression using the MINITAB 16 application. The results of the research for service per conception (S/C) in Ongole Cross-breed (PO) cattles in Tanjung Sari sub-district were classified as ideal with a value of 1.29 ± 0.52. Each increase in the value of the BCS score will increase the S/C value. Each added age value at first married, it will increase the S/C value. Each added value of the parent's age will reduce the S/C value. The conclusion in this study is that S/C in PO cattles in Tanjung Sari District is 1.29 ± 0.52. Factors that affect the value of conception rate in PO cattles in Tanjung Sari district was the BCS score which was positively associated with S/C with a value of 0.553, age at first mated was negatively associated with S/C with a value of -0.434, and age parent was negatively associated with S/C with value of -0,114.

Relationship between Body Weight and Dry Matter Intake of Dry-off Cows with Birth Weight and Body Measurements of Calves 断奶奶牛体重和干物质摄入量与出生体重和小牛体尺的关系

The aim of this research was to find out and examine the relationship between dry matter intake (DMI) and body weight of dry-off cows on calf performance. This research was conducted at CV. Capita Farm and Rias farmers group in Getasan, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research material was 26 cows and 26 calves that were born. This research was conducted observationally with the observed parameters were changes in the cow's body weight and consumption of DMI for 2 weeks before parturition with data collection every week, and also calf body weight and calf body measuremnets including body length, height and chest circumference at birth. The model of the relationship between parameters was tested with a simple regression test and t-test to determine differences in birth weight between male and female calves. The results showed that the weight of the parent body and the amount of dry-off DMI cow consumption at the end of dry periode did not correlate with calf body weight and calf body size. Calf body weight was influenced by gender with males having heavier weights than birth weight of female calves. Weight of male and female calf was 40.93 and 35.91 kg, respectively. In conclusion, the body weight of the dry-off cows and DMI of the dry-off cows could not be used to estimate the birth weight and body measureents of calves.

Growth and Stock Of Swamp Buffalo (Buballus buballis) in Kuantan District, Kuansing Regency, Riau Province 廖内省关庆县关丹区沼泽水牛(Buballus buballis)生长和存量

The purpose of this study was to know the population structure, natural increase, net replacement stock, and output of buffalo, as well as the holding capacity and capacity of breeders in managing the buffalo. The research was conducted in 14 villages based on the largest number of buffalo population. The material of this research was buffalo (1,802 heads) and buffalo breeders with a total of 179 respondents. The parameters measured were population structure, natural increase, net replacement rate (NRR), output, area carrying capacity and livestock ability to raise. Data were analyzed descriptively by displaying the mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the population structure was dominated by female 68.03%, natural increase 34.74%, male NRR 145.10%; female NRR 310.61%, output 16.83%. the carrying capacity of the Kuantan Tengah area was 10,685.67 ST with the ability of 45.58% breeders. Conclusion: Buffalo cattle in Central Kuantan District have high productivity and Central Kuantan District could be used as a source area for buffalo seedlings.

PENGARUH PERUBAHAN SPASIAL MIKROKLIMATIK AMONIA PADA ZONA PENEMPATAN DAN PANJANG KANDANG BERBEDA TERHADAP PERFORMA AYAM BROILER PERIODE STARTER 肉鸡原理改革开始前阿莫尼亚在就业区和园区的特殊微观变化

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak perubahan spasial mikroklimatik amonia pada zona penempatan dan panjang kandang berbeda terhadap perfoma ayam broiler periode starter. Materi penelitian 2 unit closed house ukuran 60 x 12 m2 berkapasitas 11.000 ekor dan ukuran 120 x 12 m2 berkapasitas 22.000 ekor, 600 ekor DOC ayam broiler strain Cobb dalam rancangan perlakuan  split plot acak kelompok dengan 2 mainplot, yaitu panjang kandang 60 m dan kandang 120 m dan 4 subplot, yaitu zona penempatan ayam terdiri dari Zona 1 (sejajar inlet), Zona  2 (¼ panjang kandang), Zona 3 (½ panjang kandang) dan Zona 4 (¾ panjang kandang). Parameter yang diamati yaitu bobot badan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan, indeks perfoma, Income Over Feed Cost  (IOFC), makroklimat dan mikroklimatik pada setiap unit zona penempatan ayam dan panjang kandang sebagai gambaran kondisi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara zona penempatan ayam dan panjang kandang terhadap performa ayam broiler. Zona penempatan ayam yang lebih jauh dari inlet dan kandang yang lebih panjang menunjukkan hasil signifikan (P<0.05) menurunkan bobot badan, pertambahan bobot badan, indeks perfoma, dan IOFC, serta sebaliknya, meningkatkan konversi pakan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan spasial mikroklimatik amonia pada zona penempatan ayam yang lebih jauh dari inlet dan kandang yang lebih panjang menurunkan perfoma ayam broiler periode starter. Kata kunci: Spasial mikroklimatik amonia, Zona penempatan, Panjang kandang, Perfoma, Ayam broiler

PERBANDINGAN SUHU LINGKUNGAN DAN PENGARUH PAKAN TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS SAPI PERAH DI DAERAH DENGAN KETINGGIAN BERBEDA 小时收入和生产力收入持续

This study was done to compare the environmental temperature and the effect of feed  management on dairy cattle productivity in KUTT Suka Makmur Grati Pasuruan. Primary data were collected by questionare based interview to the farmers at different height areas those were 40 farmers in lowland area and 40 farmers in highland area. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and quant itative methods. The results showed that temperatures in the lowlands were higher at around 24oC - 27oC, so cattle experiencing heat stress and the impact  was cattle consumed less feed, while the availability of  water was limited. In contrast, the highlands temperature was relatively low, about 22oC - 24oC. The cattle in highland was fed with elephant grass with a good nutrient content, so the cattle was able to produced well.  Keywords: Dairy Cattle, Environment, Feed Effect, Productivity, Temperature
本研究旨在比较库特苏卡马穆尔格拉蒂帕苏鲁的环境温度和饲料管理对奶牛生产能力的影响。采用问卷法对不同海拔地区的农户进行访谈,其中低地地区农户40人,高原地区农户40人。采用描述性统计和定量方法对数据进行分析。结果表明,低洼地区的温度在24℃~ 27℃左右较高,因此牛会出现热应激,其影响是牛消耗的饲料较少,而水的可用性有限。高原温度相对较低,约为22℃~ 24℃。以营养成分较好的象草喂养高原牛,使牛的产量提高。关键词:奶牛,环境,饲料效应,产量,温度

EFEK UMUR PEMANGKASAN INDIGOFERA (Indigofera zollingeriana) PADA MUSIM KEMARAU TERHADAP KANDUNGAN NETRAL DETERGEN FIBER DAN ACID DETERGEN FIBER 对必须同时保存的INDIGOFERA(Indigoferra zollingeriana)的改良效果

This research aims to determine the effect of harvest age Indigofera zollingeriana in dry season on the content of Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF). This research used a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications. The treatment consisted of harvest age at 40 days, harvest age at 55 days, harvest age at 70 days, and harvest age at 85 days. Data were analyzed using Variance Analysis and post-hoc test of Least Significance Different (LSD). The parameters consisted of NDF and ADF. The results of this research indicate that Indigofera zollingeriana which was harvested at 55 days has the highest NDF content (81.61%) and has significantly different (P <0.01) than the NDF content at harvest age of 40 days (70.93%), harvest age 70 days (68.80%), and at harvest age 85 days (67.23%). In addition, Indigofera zollingeriana that was harvested at 55 days has ADF content (56.68%) and at 70 days of harvest had ADF content (54.24%) that was significantly different (P <0.01) compared to ADF content at harvest age of 40 days by 48.35% and the harvest age of  85 days bay 49,41%.  It was concluded that Indigofera zollingeriana at the harvest age of 55 days in the dry season was the best harvest age with its NDF content of 81.61% and the ADF content of 56.68%. Therefore, it is recommended to plant Indigofera zollingeriana in the dry season, and it should be harvested at the harvest age of 55 days. Keywords:   Acid Detergent Fiber, Dry season, Harvest Age, Indigofera zollingeriana, Neutral Detergent  Fiber 
本研究旨在研究旱季不同采收年龄对紫靛中性洗涤纤维(NDF)和酸性洗涤纤维(ADF)含量的影响。本研究采用完全随机设计,4个处理,3个重复。处理分为收获年龄40天、收获年龄55天、收获年龄70天、收获年龄85天。数据分析采用方差分析和最小显著性差异(LSD)事后检验。参数包括NDF和ADF。结果表明,55 d采收期的蓝草NDF含量最高(81.61%),与采收期40 d(70.93%)、70 d(68.80%)和85 d(67.23%)的NDF含量差异显著(P <0.01)。另外,采后55 d的紫靛ADF含量为56.68%,采后70 d的ADF含量为54.24%,与采后40 d和85 d的ADF含量分别显著差异(P <0.01) 48.35%和49.41%。综上所述,旱季收获55 d的紫靛为最佳收获年龄,其NDF含量为81.61%,ADF含量为56.68%。因此,建议在旱季种植紫靛,采收年龄为55天。关键词:酸性洗涤纤维,干季,收获年龄,紫靛,中性洗涤纤维

The treatment consisted of harvest age at 40 days, harvest age at 55 days, harvest age at 70 days, and harvest age at 85 days. Data were analyzed using Variance Analysis and post-hoc test of Least Significance Different (LSD). The parameters consisted of NDF and ADF. The results of this research indicate that Indigofera zollingeriana which was harvested at 55 days has the highest NDF content (81.61%) and has significantly different (P <0.01) than the NDF content at harvest age of 40 days (70.93%), harvest age 70 days (68.80%), and at harvest age 85 days (67.23%). In addition, Indigofera zollingeriana that was harvested at 55 days has ADF content (56.68%) and at 70 days of harvest had ADF content (54.24%) that was significantly different (P <0.01) compared to ADF content at harvest age of 40 days by 48.35% and the harvest age of  85 days bay 49,41%.  It was concluded that Indigofera zollingeriana at the harvest age of 55 days in the dry season was the best harvest age with its NDF content of 81.61% and the ADF content of 56.68%. The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the effect of fresh, dried or silage cassava leaf to the performances of male Etawa Crossbreed (EC) goats. Fourteen male EC goats (grouping based on body weight with a weight range K1: 19-20 kg; K2: 20-21 kg; K3: 21-22 kg; K4: 22 kg) were allocated in housed individually throughout 90-day trial duration (14 days for animal's adaptation to the experimental diets and 7 days of faeces collection). Experimental design was randomized complete block design consisted of 3 treatments and 4 replications: concentrate + fresh cassava leaf (T0); concentrate + dried cassava leaf (T1); and concentrate + silage cassava leaf (T2). Concentrat was given at level of 50% (3% BW) and forage was given ad libitum respectively for each treatments. Variables observed were feed intake, digestibility, body weight gain, and feed efficiency. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), if there were significant effect of treatments were continued using Duncan multiple range test. The results of this experiment showed that the processing of cassava leaf increased on dry matter intake, crude protein, total digestible nutrient (TDN), digestibility, body weight gain, and feed efficiency. The conclusions were processing of cassava leaves improved the consumption and digestibility of male EC goats and the treatment of cassava leaf silage had the best feed efficiency. Keywords: Cassava Leaf, Performance, Digestibility, Male Etawa Crossbreed Goat.

Livestock is one of the agricultural sub-sectors. Currently, broiler farming business attacks have many attention for researchers to be studied. Trading system becomes an integral part in the entire business activity, so do in broiler farming business. The trading system in broiler farming business is included in the downstream agribusiness sub-system so the farmers are able to be easier in distributing their livestock products to consumers. The aim of this study was to evaluate the trading system of broiler chicken with self-operating model in Rasau Jaya sub-district, Kubu Raya district, West Kalimantan from January to March 2018. Total of 32 livestock keepers and 8 traders were used as samples. Both of the primary and secondary data were collected. This study was performed using descriptive survey method. Snowball sampling method was also applied for sample collection. Trading system of broiler farming business in the studied location is divided into two channels. Channel I consisted of breeders, collectors, consumers, while Channel II consisted of farmers, collectors, retailers, consumers. It could be concluded that channel II was more complex than Channel 1 because in Channel II there was a retailer that had a function as intermediary between traders and consumers. Keywords: Broiler Chicken, Farming Bussiness, Marketing, Self-Operating Model, Trading System

This study aims to determine the digestibility and fermentability of mineral-fungal combinations. The benefit of this study was to obtain data from the digestibility and fermentability of mineral-fungi combinations. The study was carried out in vitro with a completely randomized factorial 2 × 4 design with 3 replications. The variables observed were dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, total VFA production (total volatile fatty acid), and NH3. The data obtained were then analyzed using variance test (ANOVA), if there was an influence on the variables measured, it will be followed by the Tukey’s Studentized Range test. The results showed that the combination of minerals gave a significant effect (P <0.05) and there was an interaction between mineral-fungi (P <0.05) in the digestibility of organic matter and VFA. The highest result was combination mineral with S. cerevisiae and as individual was combination Cu-Sc and Se-Sc. Keywords: Digestibility, Fermentability, Fungi, Mineral, Rumen.

Rapid broiler development is one of the reason farmers’ choice in raising broiler. The effect broiler become weak because of diseases even come from bacteria or viruses. One of the diseases which are leaded by bacteria which attack broiler oftenly is colibacillosis. The aim of this experiment was to examine the addition of sambiloto leaf meal on feed to the inhibition of bacterial development inside the body of infected Escherichia coli broiler toincrease broilers performance. This experiment used 100 day old chicks (DOC) of Cobb strain which were kept for five weeks. The experiment used completely randomized design with five treatments and four replications consisting of 5 broilers in each replication. The treatments were          P0 = control (healthy broiler), P1 = P0 infected with Escherichia coli, P2 = P1 + 0,2% sambiloto leaf meal, P3 = P1 + 0,4% sambiloto leaf meal, P4 = P1 + 0,6% sambiloto leaf meal. The data were analyzed with analysis of variance. The variables observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, final body weight, feed conversion ratio, mortality, and total colony bacteria in broiler excreta.
