According to the article of inventory in the act of public records management from 29 th January on 1999, record repository, special repository and the archives have been doing inventory totally once every two years. As the archives have acquisited incredibly and explosively lots of archives, this has induced a lot of problem in inventory activity due to legacy inventory acts. To solve these problems, the author have revised and legislated on 29 th Oct. 2016. The purpose of this study is to point out the problems that prior uniformal inventory cycle and to explain in detail that the contents of the newly revised article, and a benefit and expectations of practical inventory activity. The major revision of article is inventory cycle of at least totally once every four years and the act of obligation on a after-process of inventory. 키워드

본 연구는 공공도서관 ‘메이커스페이스’ 구성 및 프로그램 운영을 분석함으로써 현재 14개 국내 공공도서관 메이커스페이스 사례인 ‘무한상상실’ 프로그램의 현황 및 한계점을 도출하고, 향후 해외의 메이커스페이스와 같이 확대되고 지속가능한 모형으로 발전하기 위한 운영 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 메이커스페이스에 관한 문헌 및 사례조사를 실시하였고 국내 공공도서관 메이커스페이스 현황조사를 통해 메이커스페이스의 발전과정, 프로그램 유형, 지원 유형 및 서비스 성과를 분석하였다. 아울러 국내외 공공도서관 메이커스페이스 전담사서와의 심층인터뷰를 진행함으로써 메이커스페이스의 개념 변화, 필요성, 효과성, 한계점 및 향후 발전방안 등을 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과 메이커스페이스의 지속가능한 운영을 위해 시급히 마련되어야 할 정책방안으로 다양하고 안정적인 재원 확보, 전문 인력 배치 및 훈련, 적극적인 자원봉사자 활용 방안, 홍보전략 수립, 지역주민이 소통하는 공간을 넘어 신기술을 통한 교육과 창조의 공간, 지역 아카이브 생성의 ‘메이킹’ 공간이 되어야 한다는 것을 제안하였다.

To assess and understand the level of job burnout among the medical librarians and identify the factors affecting it, email survey, consisting of questions regarding personal background, organization characteristics, degree of burnout, and coping activities, was administered for two weeks in December 2016, to the librarians in 138 institutions affiliated with the Korean Medical Library Association. MBI-GS is used as a burnout measuring instrument. Data collected from 158 librarians (response rate 65.6%), were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis methods. According to MB-GS norm, respondents experience moderate level of exhaustion and professional efficacy, however the level of cynicism is extremely high. There are significant statistical differences in burnout, depending on age, medical librarian certificate, work experience, type of library, job coverage, and coping activities. There are also statistical significant correlations between workload, role conflict, decision making process and performance evaluation, organization communication, IT environment, continuing education and burnout. Based on the results, recommendations to alleviate burnout are suggested in individual, organizational, and professional association context.

This study is the first to use the Chernoff face method for big data analysis of library services in library and information research. 공공기금을 지원받아 수행된 논문성과물의 오픈액세스(OA)는 주요국의 경우 국가차원에서 법률을 통해 의무화하는 방향으로 추진되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 국가R&D에 따라 산출된 논문성과물의 오픈액세스를 추진하기 위해서 필요한 법규의 개선방안을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 이미 공공기금에 의한 연구성과물의 오픈액세스를 법제화한 미국, 스페인, 독일, 프랑스의 입법례와 우리나라의 대표 공공기금 연구사업인 국가R&D와 관련된 법령 및 행정규칙을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는, 1) 국가R&D 사업의 연구성과물 관련 용어를 통일하고 연구성과물의 정의에 논문을 명시하여 포함시킬 것, 2) 논문의 제출, 공개, 등록․기탁, 소유와 관련한 내용을 기본법인 「국가연구개발사업의 성과평가 및 성과관리에 관한 법률」에 정함으로써 OA이행의무를 강화할 것, 그리고 3) 개정된 기본법에 따라 범 부처 공통의 「국가연구개발사업의 관리 등에 관한 규정」과 행정규칙을 정비할 것 등을 제안하였다.

Korea and Japan have been influenced by one another through various points in their respective histories. During ancient times and throughout the Middle Ages, many aspects of culture and modern civilisation were conveyed from China to Japan via Korea. This trend changed in the second half of the 19 th century, as Japan opened its ports to foreign trade, completely reforming its own society before Korea followed suit. The aspects of modern civilisation and culture were thus subsequently conveyed to Korea from Japan. Not unlike Western cultures of the time, Japan also engaged in a pursuit of imperialism that resulted in its subjugation of Korea during the Japanese occupation. After Korea regained its independence following the Second World War, Koreans rebuilt their country largely on the basis of the social system Japan had left behind. 70 years later, differences from the Japanese model may nevertheless be observed in various areas. Library legislation is no exception. This paper provides a comparison of Korean and Japanese library laws. The comparison and consideration of the enactment and revision processes of library legislation of both countries reveals how differences in legislation developed and provides an analysis of the implementation of these differences.

Mentoring by faculty advisors is closely related to the personal and professional outcomes of doctoral students. However, few researchers have examined the characteristics of faculty mentors. To deal with this lack of research, the author attempted to explore the characteristics of faculty mentors from the perspective of Library and Information Science (LIS) doctoral students in the United States. In the study, the author combined interviews and a survey to examine the characteristics of faculty mentors. The interview and survey findings present a list of characteristics that are comprehensive and specific to LIS doctoral education. Specifically, the author describes a faculty mentor as a well-rounded person who possesses both professional and interpersonal characteristics. In addition, the findings show some aspects in which the current advising/mentoring could improve. The current study offers a guideline for the accomplishment of doctoral mentoring at a concrete level, rather than vaguely recommending that faculty advisors support the professional and psychosocial development of their students. In a following paper, the author will relate background characteristics of doctoral students to their perception of mentors.

대학도서관은 사회적 요구 및 학술커뮤니케이션 시스템의 변화에 능동적으로 대응하면서 성장해왔다. 최근 연구데이터의 체계적인 관리 및 공유에 대한 사회적, 학술적 기대가 높아지고 있다. 미국, 영국, 호주 등에서는 국가의 재정지원을 통해 수행된 연구에서 생산되는 데이터를 보다 효과적으로 관리하고 공유하기 위한 정책을 시작한 바 있으며 이는 대학도서관에서 연구데이터 지원 서비스를 제공하게 된 직접적인 계기가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국에서 연구데이터 지원 서비스를 활발하게 제공하고 있는 네 개의 대학도서관을 대상으로 사례분석을 실시하였다. 구체적으로 이들 도서관이 전담조직을 만들게 된 배경과 어떻게 교육 서비스, 컨설팅 서비스 및 시스템 인프라를 제공하고 있는지를 비교 분석하였다. 사례분석을 통해 향후 국내 대학도서관에 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 도출하였다. 이는 주로 연구데이터 관련 교육 서비스를 개발하는 것과 연구데이터의 관리 및 공유와 관련된 전문 역량을 갖추는 것으로 요약할 수 있다.
{"title":"미국 대학도서관의 연구데이터 지원 서비스 사례 연구","authors":"심원식","doi":"10.4275/KSLIS.2016.50.4.311","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4275/KSLIS.2016.50.4.311","url":null,"abstract":"대학도서관은 사회적 요구 및 학술커뮤니케이션 시스템의 변화에 능동적으로 대응하면서 성장해왔다. 최근 연구데이터의 체계적인 관리 및 공유에 대한 사회적, 학술적 기대가 높아지고 있다. 미국, 영국, 호주 등에서는 국가의 재정지원을 통해 수행된 연구에서 생산되는 데이터를 보다 효과적으로 관리하고 공유하기 위한 정책을 시작한 바 있으며 이는 대학도서관에서 연구데이터 지원 서비스를 제공하게 된 직접적인 계기가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국에서 연구데이터 지원 서비스를 활발하게 제공하고 있는 네 개의 대학도서관을 대상으로 사례분석을 실시하였다. 구체적으로 이들 도서관이 전담조직을 만들게 된 배경과 어떻게 교육 서비스, 컨설팅 서비스 및 시스템 인프라를 제공하고 있는지를 비교 분석하였다. 사례분석을 통해 향후 국내 대학도서관에 적용할 수 있는 시사점을 도출하였다. 이는 주로 연구데이터 관련 교육 서비스를 개발하는 것과 연구데이터의 관리 및 공유와 관련된 전문 역량을 갖추는 것으로 요약할 수 있다.","PeriodicalId":179590,"journal":{"name":"Journal of The Korean Society for Library and Information Science","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121653109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
