The properties of grazed grassland soils are frequently degraded in tropical areas. The objective of this work was to review the literature on the theory and results of sampling and analysis of the spatial variability of grassland soil properties worldwide and in Ecuador. The methodology, results, and discussion of 15 articles were reviewed, available in the databases: Scopus, SciELO, ScienceDirect, Scimago Journal & Country Rank, Dialnet, and SpringerLink, and the respective theory of 5 books. It was found that worldwide there are soil sampling works that evaluate the spatial variability of their properties, while at the national level, the samples do not consider such variability. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct research in Ecuador on the spatial variability of soil properties with grasslands, allowing reliable decisions to be made for their management and conservation.

An accessible website refers to the fact that any person, especially those with physical disabilities, can access the content of the website without problems. The objective of this research is the analysis through literature reviews of machine learning methods applied to the study of accessibility in the web portals of Decentralized Autonomous Governments. In addition, a systematic literature review methodology was used to review more than twenty scientific articles related to keywords such as web accessibility, statistics, and machine learning, among others. In the results obtained, several techniques stand out, especially those of unsupervised learning, since their usefulness was observed in several investigations, improving the analysis and understanding of the data. This research has shown that exciting work can be done on web accessibility in institutions, considering that these studies would significantly contribute to improving access to content.

Ecology studies the relationships between living beings, environment, distribution, and abundance, and how these properties are affected by the interaction between organisms and the environment in which they live (habitat), as well as the influence each living being has on the environment. Statistical methods are fundamental for the treatment of data and dissemination of information. The research focuses on exposing the multivariate techniques applied to analyze the relationships between tree species and the physical-chemical characteristics of the soil. The methodology consisted of reviewing articles related to keywords such as: "dry forest," "multivariate statistics," and "ecology." Among the relevant results, the canonical correspondence analysis, factor analysis, and dendrograms stand out.

Lignocellulosic waste corresponds to a large percentage of waste in the world. Over time research has been developed for the use of these. This waste can be converted into activated carbon. The objective of this scientific article is to carry out a bibliographic review of research carried out on lignocellulosic waste and activated carbon production methods. The applied methodology is based on the qualitative approach, in which a comparison is sought to the obtaining methods, their precursors, and the variables to be considered for quality evaluation. The chemical activation method turned out to bethe most effective since it provides greater adsorption capacity; the most feasible lignocellulosic residues used are sugar cane bagasse, coffee husk, potato weed, and bamboo.

This research includes reviewing studies on the various exit exams for secondary education in Ecuador, as well as admission to higher education, and identifying students' academic, individual, and socioeconomic factors. In addition, files and academic reports associated with applying multivariate statistical techniques such as linear regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and principal component analysis were analyzed. At the same time, studying the academic variables associated with the exam was considered, considering the measurement of general knowledge, sociodemographic and socioeconomic variables. The application of statistical techniques showed in most studies that the variables are associated mainly with academic performance. This made it possible to determine in the long term that numbers define positive or negative scales, and the forms of learning constituted daily as a challenge.

Digital marketing is a necessary and effective tool in companies. In this sense, this research aims to analyze digital marketing as a marketing strategy in SMEs. Media and social networks require information to flow faster since reliable and attractive information is sought so customers can make their purchases efficiently. Taking these premises into account, this work is developed in Manabí, Ecuador, for which a quantitative methodology is applied, with a random sample of 167 micro-enterprises. Among the results, it is evident; that most SMEs do not have a marketing plan to support their business, which limits the sales of their products. Another problem encountered is that by not having a marketing strategy that contributes to keeping the public informed correctly, profitability in sales is limited, and a connection between customers and the business is not achieved.
