The article is dedicated to the current situation of the light industry in Azerbaijan. The aim of the study is to assess the development of the light industry in Azerbaijan in the 21st century. The article uses the method of statistical and economic research. The scientific significance of the research is to study the development characteristics of the light industry sector in the context of the emergence of global markets. It should be noted that the state plays a leading role in solving problems in this area. It was also noted that the victorious war in Karabakh paved the way for the development of the light industry. Based on this, it can be concluded that there are favorable conditions for the development of the light industry in our country. The scientific novelty of the research is to assess the development characteristics of the country's light industry, as well as to conduct research on the activities of the field on certain indicators.

It is known that carbon dioxide emissions and climate change have a direct relationship. Emissions of carbon dioxide gases have an effect on global warming. Thus, carbon dioxide emissions are a widely investigated topic for researchers. In this study, the amount of carbon dioxide gas emissions and their component of it are investigated for the 1980-2014 period in Turkey. The components of carbon dioxide emissions are electricity and heat production, fuel consumption, liquid fuel consumption, manufacturing industries and construction, other sectors, residential buildings and commercial services, and solid fuel consumption. In the analysis, annual data are used. At first descriptive statistics and data visualization methods are used to investigate data. The results show that there is an increasing trend in CO2 emissions. However, there is no main source of carbon dioxide emissions. Whereas liquid fuel consumption is the largest share of the components of the year 2000, its share is decreasing after the year 2000.

The financial statements are the final element of the entity's financial statements and contain multidimensional information from the books of accounts. Small amounts of management accounting data are also used in the preparation of financial statements. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the possibilities of using financial reporting as a source of economic information to support performance management. Financial statements use information obtained from the entity's financial records. Due to proper organization and grouping, the financial information included in the specific components of the financial statements should allow a comprehensive assessment of the entity's property and financial condition and the results obtained. The financial statements must be relevant to the purpose for which they are prepared. The financial accounting system, by its very nature, supports the creation of the information required to establish financial measures. Unnecessary and confusing statements should be avoided and all relevant and important ones should be made public. These statements allow shareholders to learn about the efficiency and effectiveness of management, as well as the company's profitability and financial strength. By analyzing the financial statements, potential shareholders can determine the company's profitability, current status, and future prospects and decide whether to invest in the company. The financial statements may relate to one entity or to more than one entity. For this reason, single and consolidated financial statements can be distinguished. The need for an audit is mainly due to the need for some independent auditing tools to reduce accounting errors, asset misappropriation, and fraud in business and non-commercial organizations. In this regard, the article notes the mistakes and shortcomings in the preparation of financial statements. Ways of proper organization of receivables, inventory, and deferred taxes were investigated. Methods for removing inaccurate financial statements and financial reporting constraints have also been explored. In this regard, changes in the financial statements for profit and loss were considered.

The presented article deals the history of wheat production, the factors that make wheat an essential food product, local wheat varieties obtained as a result of successful selection of local scientists and specialists, analyzes the production volumes of the world's leading countries for wheat production, average yield indicators, the situation with the production and trade of wheat in the world, the dynamics of changes in wheat prices in world markets, the demand for food wheat in our country, an increase in production and stocks of wheat, as well as state support measures to regulate imports, the economic consequences of Russia's military intervention in Ukraine and China's increase in food stocks, the role of Ukraine in world production and trade of wheat, a number of problems that impede the increase in wheat production in the country are indicated, the need to increase the average yield and stocks of wheat, diversify the geography of imports in order to further improve the current situation is substantiated. The article emphasizes that if our liberated territories are again involved in the economy, this will make a significant contribution to providing the country with wheat, and the situation in this direction will improve.
