Based on Circular Letter of Educational Authorities of West Java Province Number 443/5867-Set.Disdik regarding the extension of the teaching and learning process implementation time at home and the mandate of the Head of Educational Authorities (Disdik), Dewi Sartika, taking into account a number of matters related to Covid-19 (Pikiran Rakyat, 01 - 04 June 2020, 12:45 WIB), the implementation of education in West Java Province is carried out with the long distance learning mechanism. By paying attention to this policy, SMA N 1 Bongas Indramayu West Java carries out a distance learning process (online) through electronic media (E-Learning). Thus, teachers must be more creative and innovative in choosing and implementing appropriate learning methods so their students’ problems in the form of low reading skills and difficulties in understanding English reading texts can be resolved properly. This study aims to test and produce learning media in the form of genres through Microsoft PowerPoint and to improve students' reading comprehension skills in understanding English texts. Therefore, this learning media is very helpful for English teachers in improving students' reading comprehension skills in understanding English texts through long distance learning during the Covid-19 period. Referring to Sugiyono (2013: 407-427), this research is categorized as research and development (R&D). The study population was all students of SMA N 1, Bongas District, Indramayu Regency, totaling 522 students, 216 boys and 306 girls. This research applied Random sampling technique. The sample was 29 students of Class XII MIPA-3 (15 boys and 14 girls) with the assumption that they already had basic reading comprehension skills in English in the previous class; and as material stabilization before they carry out the national/school final exams.. Before giving treatment by applying the genre through Microsoft PowerPoint as a learning medium, students were given a pre-test. This is done to see the basic abilities of students before treatment. After the learning (treatment), students did the post-test.This was done to know the improvement of students' understanding ability in reading English texts. The instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple choices of which validity was tested through expert judgment (Sugiyono, 2013: 177) and point-biserial correlation test (Azwar, 2011: 19-21) and its reliability was tested using the Kuder-Richardson test (KR-20), Azwar (2011: 82). Peranan Kelompok Sosial Dalam Membentuk Perilaku Keagamaan Santri SMP Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School Sleman Yogyakarta

This research amis to obtain information on: (1) Students’ interaction in social groups, (2) roles of social groups in shaping students’ religious behaviour at SMP (Junior High School) MBS Sleman Yogyakarta, (3) students’ religious behaviour resulted from the roles of social groups in shaping their behaviour.This research is a descriptive qualitative study conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School Sleman Yogyakarta. The data Wet collected using observation, interview, and documentation.The dinding show that: (1) The interaction of nasheed group is divided into and invovelment stage.the interaction among internal and external members have been included in the contact (introduction) stage, while the involvement stage is only found in the interaction of internal nasheed group. (2) The role among nasheed members, in addition to their roles in improving their singing ability, are also used to facilitate them in improving their spirit of spirituality through organized religious agenda. (3) The nasheed group gives positive impacts to its members in some dimensional namely faith, worship, and practice. The positive impacts in religious dimension for its members are found in their mental and mind development, emotion development, social consideration, moral development as well as attitudde and interest Development. Hubungan Minat Membaca dengan Prestasi Belajar Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas III SD Karanggayam 阅读兴趣关系与IPS第三级Karanggayam学习科目的成绩

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat membaca siswa dan untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat membaca dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas III SD Karanggayam baik secara parsial maupun secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Karanggayam tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket untuk mengukur minat membaca, sedangkan untuk prestasi belajarnya didapat dari nilai ulangan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Data yang terkumpul di analisis menggunakan korelasi person dengan program aplikasi komputer SPSS Versi 20 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pertama, minat membaca siswa SD Karanggayam masuk dalam kategori cukup baik dilihat dari hasil tabulasi angket yaitu sebesar 76%. Dilihat dari hasil setiap indikator minat membaca, pada kategori kesenangan membaca menunjukkan kategori cukup baik sebesar 76% atau 16 siswa, indikator kesadaran manfaat membaca menunjukkan kategori cukup sebesar 81% atau 17 siswa dan indikator frekuensi membaca menunjukkan kategori baik sebesar 62% atau 13 siswa. Kedua, Koefisien Pearson menunjukan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,581 dengan taraf signifikan 5% atau dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat membaca dengan prestasi belajar IPS siswa SD Karanggayam.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pembelajaran PAI di SMPN 23 Konawe Selatan

This study aims to describe the application of the snowball throwing learning model in improving the learning outcomes of students in Islamic religious education subjects in class VIII 2 at SMP Negeri 23 Konawe Selatan. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) with research procedures in two cycles with several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used were observation, test learning outcomes and documentation. Observations were made to determine the activities of researchers and students in implementing learning. Learning outcome tests are carried out to determine the completeness of student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, documentation is used to obtain data about the state or number of students who will be studied in class VIII 2 SMP Negeri 23 Konawe Selatan. From the results of the study, students who scored above 70 in the pre-cycle initial test were 5 people with an average of 59.14 and a percentage of 23, 80%. After the implementation of cycle I, 11 students who achieved mastery learning above a value of 70 with an average score of 63.80 and a percentage of 52.38%. Furthermore, after the implementation of cycle II, 17 students who obtained a value of 70 and above with an average of 71.90 and a percentage of 80.95%.

Artikel ini membahas terkait pentingnya pembelajaran yang terintegrasi antara dunia belajar anak dengan realitas kehidupan yang melingkupinya. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan pentingnya penekanan pada model pembelajaran yang mengarah pada peningkatan daya kognitif, afektif mapun psikomotorik secara komprehensif. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai hal tersebut adalah melalui pembelajran sistem perilaku yakni belajar dari simulasi. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah library research (studi kepustakaan) dengan cara mengumpulkan buku, jurnal, maupun lainnya seputar isu utama dalam penelitian. Analisis data secara  induktif, tema dibangun dari bawah ke atas (induktif) kemudian mengolah data ke dalam unit-unit informasi yang lebih abstrak, hal ini perlu dilakukan berulang-ulang agar peneliti dapat membangun tema secara utuh. Konsep Pendidikan Islam Holistik Prof. Dr. Tuty Alawiyah serta relevansinya di Era Millenium

Prof. Dr. Tuty Awawiyah is a female scholar as well as educational thinker  who succeded establishing and managing Pesantren-based schools starting form kindergarten, the elementary school,  junior high school, the senior high school until the college. The Purpose of this paper is to add insight and treasure about the concept of holistic Islamic education of Prof. Dr. Tuty Alawiyah and its relevance in the Millenium Era. Based on reseach and literature review that have been done, Islamic holistic education can be interpreted as education that is able to answer the problems of education faced in the word of education di the millennium era, for Islamic holistic education  is education that shapes something in a whole way, therefore it becomes a very large unity that any other exithing combination. Pendidikan Multikultural Dalam Pembelajaran Agama Islam di Sekolah Menegah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 1 Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang

AbstractSenior High School (SMA) is a strategic educational environment in shaping the personality of multicultural students. Through Islamic Religious Education the strategic role of the school is becoming increasingly apparent because Islamic Education that is carried out properly will bring a positive and productive attitude change. The purpose of this study is to investigate multicultural education in SMAN 1 Kendawangan, which is with a lot of diversity. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the first important argumentation of multicultural Islamic religious education in Islamic religious education is the factor, religious religions of ethics, cultural customs, and social status that are often the latent potential of social conflict. Second Multicultural education is carried out by internalizing in an integrated manner through contextualization and Extention of the material, the need for learning strategies, and attitude/behavior-based assessments. Third multicultural education is carried out by incidental (temporary) actions, namely by counseling during the flag ceremony, conducting Friday blessings (healthy and clean schools), and developing tolerance through the momentum of religious holidays in schools.Keywords: Multicultural, Islamic Religious Education, Kendawangan AbstrakSekolah menegah Atas SMA adalah lingkungan Pendidikan yang setrategis dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa multikuturalis. Melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam peran strategis sekolah tersebut menjadi semakin nyata, karena Pendidikan Agama Islam yang dilaksanakan dengan baik akan membawa perubahan sikap positif dan produktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi Pendidikan multicultural di SMAN 1 Kendawangan, yang merupakan dengan banyak keragaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama argumentasi pentinga Pendidikan agama Islam multicultural dalam Pendidikan agama Islam adalah factor, keragama sgama etis, adat budaya dan status social yang sering menjadi potensi laten konflik social. Kedua Pendidikan mulitkultural dilakukan dengan menginternalisasikan secara terintegrasi melalui kontekstualisasi dan mepengangan materi, perluasa strategi pembelajaran dan penilaian berbasis sikap/perilaku. Ketiga pendidkan multikultur dilasakukan dengan tindakan insidental (temporary) yakni dengan penasihatan pada saat upacara bendera, melakukan jumat berkah (sekolah sehat dan bersih) dan pengembangan toleransi melalui momentum hari besar keagamaan di sekolah.Kata kunci: Multikultural, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Kendawangan

Penguatan Karakter Nasionalisme Generasi Alphamelalui Living Values Education Program (LVEP) 改善民族主义特征一代的活价值观教育计划(LVEP)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang cara menguatkan karakter nasionalisme generasi alpha di era digital melalui Living Values Education Program (LVEP). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kepustakaan. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang berupa buku-buku ilmiah, jurnal ilmiah, laporan penelitian, dan sumber lain yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian meliputi tiga tahapan, organize, synthesize, dan identify. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai LVEPyang mencakup nilai kerjasama, kebebasan, kebahagiaan, kejujuran, kerendahan hati, cinta, kedamaian, penghargaan, tanggung jawab, kesederhanaan, toleransi,dan persatuan memiliki relevansi yang kuat dalam penanaman karakter nasionalisme generasi alpha di era digital. Aktivitas nilai-nilai LVEP yang meliputi kegiatan refleksi, berimajinasi, berdialog, berkomunikasi, berkreasi, membuat tulisan, menyatakan diri lewat seni, dan bermain dengan nilai-nilai yang diajarkan dapat dijadikan sebagai program inovatif dan kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk penguatan karakter nasionalisme anak-anak generasi alpha di era digital darisajian informasi dan budaya yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pancasila.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused a number of educational institutions in Indonesia to be temporarily closed. Learning activities in a number of areas are carried out online and eliminate face-to-face learning. The implementation of online learning in Indonesia, including in Bantul DIY district, is not an easy matter because it is a new way of adapting to the new Indonesian education system. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of online learning that have been held during the Covid-19 pandemic.The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe the teacher's perceptions of the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents in this study were 46 teachers. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire that was submitted to the respondents online (social media and electronic mail).Based on the results of the study, it was found that all Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) teachers in Bantul had implemented online learning. Even so, most of the respondents stated that online learning was not yet effective (69.60%). This is influenced by limited infrastructure, the readiness of parents to provide assistance to children while learning from home, and some teachers have not been able to respond and adapt to this online learning properly and effectively.Keywords: teacher perceptions, online learning, pandemic covid-19

Implementasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Keluarga Santri

This paper aims to describe and analyze the process and implications of the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in santri families in Wonolelo village, Pleret district, Bantul district. Qualitative methods with the type of case study research are used to reveal these expectations. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed by analytical induction.The process of implementing Islamic religious education learning in the santri family can be carried out through planning, implementation and evaluation. The third process can be successful, influenced by various factors. Among them are materials, methods, environment, technology, and cooperation or cohesiveness between family members, especially both parents. Finally, family education can have an impact or have implications for the character of family members, especially children as themselves, relating to Allah, the Lord of the Universe, God's fellow creatures. Keywords: Implimentation, learning, Islamic religious education, santri families
