A Front Survey Automobile Radar system with frequency modulation (FM) of a sounding signal is esteemed. Problems of creation of similar radar systems are discussed. Allowing experience of scientific collective on creation of the radar system of a forward view, the outcomes of experimental researches of the automobile radar system with FM of a new generation are resulted in the report. The outcomes of full-scale tests have confirmed high performance and self descriptiveness of the radar system for mission control of transport means. The analysis of results of tests has allowed determining steps of further improvement of technical characteristics of the considered radar system, and also - area of operational use of the radar system of the similar class.

The possibility of using the quasioptical waveguide modeling (QWM) method for experimental study of backward scattering polarization characteristics of physical objects and their scale models in the near millimeter (NMM) region of the electromagnetic spectrum is investigated. The quasioptical polarimetric micro-compact range (PMCR) has been developed and carried out for realizing the QWM method. The microwave part of the installation was built on the basis of a hollow dielectric waveguide (HDW), quasioptical devices, and transmission-line elements. The results of measurements of amplitude-phase backward scattering patterns (BSP) for a tested object for various polarizations bases are presented. For comparison purposes, corresponding theoretical numerical modeling data showing the possibilities of the QWM method are given.

Creation of multiservice CATV networks is regarded as an integration of different services within the limits of a network. The integration, in its turn, results in necessity of using new approaches to networks calculation in order to provide the required quality for each service. Presented in this paper is a method for the calculation of a multiservice CATV network of minimal cost, taking into account the limitations for each type of traffic. The examples of calculation are given.

A way to reduce phase errors of the measured antenna near field for antenna pattern (AP) restoration is considered. The AP restoration problem in the near field measurement data exists in the microwave range. The problem is related to the limited opportunities for exact phase measurement.

The results of bioelectric brain activity analysis by a nonlinear dynamics method based on the Grassberger-Procaccia algorithm are presented. It was observed that the preserving of the brain interhemisphere asymmetry was influenced by microwaves, but its degree is lower than in control mode. It was demonstrated that synchronization of oscillation processes for both brain hemispheres are possible after removing the irradiation.

The results of an investigation of the possibility of using non-harmonic signals in telecommunication systems are presented. On the basis of a notional "number of signal degrees of freedom," a structure of a generalized receiver is proposed. This receiver identifies alphabetical symbols independently of the carrier waveform. It is shown that for some auto-correlation function types, the generalized receiver provides a significant advantage in noise stability.
