Conceptual Framework for Knowledge Management Support in Logistics and Supply Chain Simulation 物流与供应链仿真中知识管理支持的概念框架

This paper relates logistics and supply chain modeling and simulation to knowledge flow analysis and knowledge management methodology. Knowledge gained in the course of a simulation project quite often remains in the heads of the people involved in the project. It is not sufficiently externalized because documentation tasks are time-consuming, seen as an add-on to the real problem-solving process and poorly supported. As a result, project-specific knowledge about assumptions, decisions, modeling philosophy, implementation, experiments and results is not kept but lost, even if it is retained by the people involved. As a contribution to overcoming this problem, logistics simulation knowledge is identified and processes of knowledge sharing, creation and acquisition in the course of a logistics simulation project are analyzed. Although closely related to logistics and supply chain simulation, the methods proposed are easily adapted to other application areas of modeling and simulation - and should be applied to them as well

This paper proposes the simulation technique of power system with voltage source converter (VSC) based FACTS devices. The benefits of the simulation method on the stability are explored by incorporation the load injection model of various VSCs into the power system. The paper presents the method of simulation the power system with VSC on MATLAB/SIMULINK. The proposed method of simulation is tested on the new England system

Multi-Party Key Agreement in Password-Based Setting 基于密码设置中的多方密钥协议

In this work, we study the problem of designing efficient password-based encrypted key agreement protocol in multi-party scenario. Recently, Dutta-Barua proposed a constant round group key agreement DB, which is a simple variant of Burmester-Desmedt protocol BD. In this paper, we present a simple and elegant contributory group key agreement in password-based setting, derived from the protocol DB. We have made several modifications in the protocol DB and then enhance it to password-based setting. The security of the proposed scheme against dictionary attacks is in the ideal cipher model under decision Diffie-Hellman (DDH) assumption. We analyze our protocol in the security framework formalized by Bellare et al. Our proposed scheme achieves efficiency over the work of Bresson et al. in terms of both computation and communication power

SASS Applied to Automated Langmuir Probe Tuning SASS在朗缪尔探针自动调谐中的应用

In this research, self-adaptive step size search (SASS), a novel heuristic optimization algorithm that has only one control parameter, has been applied to a discrete optimization problem, the automated deduction of fourteen Fourier terms in a radio-frequency (RF) waveform to tune a Langmuir probe. Langmuir probes are diagnostic tools used to determine the ion density and the electron energy distribution in plasma processes. RF plasmas are inherently nonlinear, and many harmonics of the driving fundamental can be generated in the plasma. RF components across the ion sheath formed around the probe distort the measurements made. To improve the quality of the measurements, these RF components can be removed by an active-compensation method. In this research, this was achieved by applying an RF signal to the probe tip that matches both the phase and amplitude of the RF signal generated from the plasma. Here, seven harmonics are used to generate the waveform applied to the probe tip. Therefore, fourteen mutually interacting parameters (seven phases and seven amplitudes) had to be tuned on-line. In previous work it was shown that the SOMA algorithm performed best in this application domain and hence the performance of SASS was compared to SOMA. It was demonstrated that SASS outperformed SOMA even without the need of finding a suitable set of control parameters

Dynamic Reconstruction from Noise Contaminated Data with Sparse Bayesian Recurrent Neural Networks 基于稀疏贝叶斯递归神经网络的噪声污染数据动态重建

Dynamic reconstruction is fundamental to building models of nonlinear processes with unknown governing equations. Dynamic reconstruction attempts to reconstruct the underlying dynamics of the system under consideration from a series of scalar measurements over time. Reconstruction of system dynamics from measurements can be interpreted as an ill posed inverse problem of which Tikhnov regularization has been found to provide stable estimate solutions. In this paper, a Bayesian regularized recurrent neural network is used to perform dynamic reconstruction of a noisy chaotic processes. The Bayesian regularized recurrent network is able to reconstruct attractors from noise contaminated data that are qualitatively similar to and have similar correlation dimension as attractors reconstructed from noise free data

Balancing Cost, Operation and Performance in Integrated Hydrogen Hybrid Energy System 综合氢混合能源系统的成本、运行和性能平衡

This paper shows the way to design the aspects of a hybrid power system that will target remote users. It emphasizes on the hydrogen hybrid power system to obtain a reliable autonomous system with the optimisation of the components size and the improvement of the capital cost. This system is chosen to provide electricity for a small and remote located community. A methodology is developed for calculating the correct size of the system and for optimizing the management. The main power for the hybrid system comes from the photovoltaic panels, while the fuel cell and secondary batteries are used as backup units. The optimization software used for this paper is the hybrid optimization model for electric renewables (HOMER). HOMER is a design model that determines the optimal architecture and control strategy of the hybrid system. It can also determine the sensitivity of the outputs to changes in the inputs. It performs an hourly time series analysis on each of hundreds or thousands of different system configurations

The security policy manager resides on each AP. Its sole responsibility is to receive the security policy, transform it into a stack-specific format and then help implement the policy via the underlying protocol stack. Security policy manager receives the policy in a stack-independent XML format. It transforms the policy into a stack-specific format and then determines the changes in the new policy compared to the currently running one. After completing these initial tasks, the Security policy manager helps to carry out these changes in the policy while interacting with the underlying protocol stack, if there will be any conflicts then the security policy manager calls the adaptive security policy optimizer to remove some part of policy and maximizes the output. Changes might require only adding/deleting a new NE to the policy

The paper deals with a novelty tool for symbolic regression - analytic programming (AP) which is able to solve various problems from the symbolic regression domain. One of the tasks for it can be a setting an optimal trajectory for an artificial ant on Santa Fe trail which is the main application of analytic programming in this paper. In this contribution main principles of AP are described and explained. In the second part of the article how AP was used for a setting an optimal trajectory for the artificial ant according the user requirements is in detail described. An ability to create so called programs, as well as genetic programming (GP) or grammatical evolution (GE) do, is shown in that part. AP is a superstructure of evolutionary algorithms which are necessary to run AP. In this contribution 3 evolutionary algorithms were used - self organizing migrating algorithm, differential evolution and simulated annealing. The results show that the first two used algorithms were more successful than not so robust Simulated Annealing

Model for Non-invasive Cardiac Output Measurement 无创心输出量测量模型

Aim of the presented work has been the development of an algorithm for a non-invasive, portable, easy to use, and affordable device for measuring systemic cardiovascular parameters like cardiac output and peripheral resistance. The data acquisition is based on a common oscillometric measurement using an occlusive blood pressure cuff and no additional calibration is necessary. The introduced novel algorithm combines several simulation techniques like neural networks or differential equations, which will be explained briefly. Finally we present some results that justify our approach. This kind of model needs no additional external parameters to work and opens therefore good perspectives for non-expert use
