This work extends previous stability results of reset control systems to the case in which external inputs and time-delay are present. Moreover, several results are developed in order to obtain an upper bound of the ℋ∞ and the ℋ2 norms of time-delay reset control systems. The results are derived by using an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional that leads to delay-dependent LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) conditions.

Air path control of a Turbocharged diesel engine: Fuzzy approach 涡轮增压柴油机空气路径控制:模糊方法

This paper addresses the modeling and control of the air path system of a diesel engine equipped with Exhaust Gas recirculation (EGR) and Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). The goal is to control carefully the air flow to reduce emissions of pollutant particles and fuel consumption. First, T-S Fuzzy model is employed to represent the nonlinear system diesel engine. Secondly, based on T-S fuzzy model, a fuzzy observer design and H∞ controller design is proposed using a two-step approach to calculate the controller and the observer gains. Sufficient conditions are derived for asymptotic output tracking controllers in the format of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Then, a single step approach is studied: the proposed approach considerably simplifies the design procedure and gives in only one step the controller and the observer gains. Both methods are applied to the system diesel engine. The effectiveness of the single approach is demonstrated through numerical simulation results.

A new evolutionary approach to decision-making in autonomic systems 自主系统决策的新进化方法

Increasingly, autonomic systems are present in our lives. For this kind of systems the ability to self-reconfigure and adapt in response to changes in users requirements and environmental conditions is primordial. Several approaches have been proposed in the literature to achieve self-reconfiguration, however, as the complexity of the adaptive system grows, designing and managing the set of reconfiguration rules becomes difficult and error-prone. To tackle this limitation, we propose a new approach that uses a search-based evolutionary algorithm that explores valid configurations to find the most relevant one given a specific running context. Another salient advantage of our approach is the re-exploitation, in the context of adaptability, of the design knowledge and existing model-based technologies through the reuse of the feature model of the system.

Position estimation of linear synchronous motor using Hall-effect sensors and a MEMS accelerometer 基于霍尔效应传感器和MEMS加速度计的直线同步电机位置估计

This paper presents different methods to estimate the position in order to control a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (MSlin). This MSlin has Hall-effect sensors that give the position by stepwise and a MEMS accelerometer that tracks the absolute acceleration. In order to improve the resolution of the sensors taken individually, we propose to combine their data to obtain an accurate position of the moving part. Simulation and preliminary experimental results are presented and commented.

Supervisory control of DES using the positive invariance property 基于正不变性的DES监督控制

This document presents a method for the supervisory control of the discrete event systems modeled by Petri nets based on positive invariance property, largely used in the field of control and analysis of continuous systems. Contrary to the structural approach, this method gives necessary and sufficient conditions of inhibition/authorization of firing transitions ensuring the invariance of the polyhedron of constraints, with the assumption that the transitions of the given net are all controllable. This method gives for each transition, in which side (of space) it must be authorized in order to satisfy polyhedron constraints and the enabling condition of the considered transition.

A robust control for wastewater treatment application 对废水处理应用的鲁棒控制

This paper deals with the control of a wastewater treatment pilot by catalytic ozonation. In general, catalytic ozonation processes operate with a deliberate ozone overproduction to obtain a treated water which respects the discharge standards. But, in this case, the oxygen consumption is not optimal and the operating costs are important. The objective of this study focuses on the optimization of the catalytic ozonation pilot. An optimal control is proposed to obtain a significant abatement of the pollutant. In this application, the pollutant abatement is represented by the absorbance.

A real-time feedback scheduler for environmental energy harvesting 一种用于环境能量收集的实时反馈调度程序

The use of environmental energy such as solar energy has recently emerged as an option to increase the operating time of embedded systems (e.g. wireless sensors). It consists in converting ambient energy into electricity to power and lengthen battery life. Dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) is one of the most effective techniques for reducing energy consumption in embedded and real-time systems. However, traditional DVS algorithms have inherent limitations on their capability in energy saving since they rarely take into account the actual application requirements and often exploit fixed timing constraints of the real-time tasks. Some authors used feedback scheduling techniques in order to minimize the consumed energy by observing the actual usage of resources in the system. This paper combines the use of DVS and energy harvesting with the capabilities of a feedback scheduler. Our goal is to minimize the consumed energy, as well as to take the charging model into account.

In this paper a stand-alone Photovoltaic systems is presented for water pumping. It based pumping systems without battery can provide a cost-effective use of solar energy. For this work of improving efficiency of the system controlled by fuzzy logic to ensure maximum power. This system and to show how to achieve an effective photovoltaic pumping system without battery storage.

Real-time inventory control and rebalancing in bike-sharing systems by using a stochastic Petri net model 基于随机Petri网模型的共享单车系统实时库存控制与再平衡

Bike sharing systems are becoming an urban mode of transportation that currently spreading in developed countries. The exploitation of such systems implies numerous operational challenges and one of them is to ensure people that they will be able to find a bike or to park it at each station. Therefore, the regulation system is necessary for maintaining a prefixed number of bikes at each station in order to fulfill at best the demand. In this paper, we develop a new stochastic Petri net model for control and performance evaluation of such transportation systems. Compared to our published works, in this paper, we consider a new rebalancing policy based on a real-time alert system with three levels of the stations control namely Ei (engorgement alert level), Pi (penury alert level) and Ri (desired level point).

Hybrid Bond Graph for robust diagnosis - Application to hydraulic system 混合键合图鲁棒诊断在液压系统中的应用

This paper presents a method for robust Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI) of Hybrid systems. The scientific interest of proposed method is use only one tool (Bond Graph) for modelling and diagnosis taking into account parameter uncertainties and hybrid aspect of the monitored system. For this task is proposed Hybrid Bond Graph (HBG) approach in Linear Fractional Transformation form (LFT). Based on behavioral, causal and structural properties the generated Analytical Redundancy Relations (ARRs) are robust with respect to parameter uncertainties presented by an adaptative threshold. Furthermore those fault indicators called Generalized ARRs are valid at all mode and derived systematically from Diagnostic Hybrid Bond Graph (DHBG). An application to a hydraulic is used to illustrate this method.
