By reading novels students can simultaneously learn several language skills. Vocabulary skills related to other language skills. Vocabulary skills are related to the ability to write and read as well as speak. However, not many teachers do not use novels as a teaching medium. In the novel, there are idiom expressions that are very important for the development of students' English skills. This research method uses qualitative methods, with literature study research techniques. The document being studied is a novel entitled Marry Poppins. The results of the study found several types of idioms, 36% of phrasal verbs, 22% of prepositional phrases, 14% of idioms with verbs as keywords, 11% of idioms with nouns as keywords, 11% of idioms with adjective as keywords and 6 idiomatic pairs. %

The teacher is one of the determinants of the high and low quality of the results of education, so every effort to improve the quality of education needs to pay great attention to improving teacher performance. To achieve good teacher performance can be achieved through the provision of sufficient incentives and high work motivation from the teacher himself.From the analysis it can be concluded that the results of the study indicate that there is an effect of giving incentives to teacher performance. The purpose of this research is to find out and see the normative-theological perspective on the use of the hijab in Islam and see the perspective of parents responding to emerging issues related to the use of headscarves in early childhood. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, using a case study approach. This research focuses intensively on one particular object which is studied as a case. After the data is collected then the data is processed and analyzed again through data triangulation. The results of this study show that the hijab is an identity that is mandatory for every Muslim woman. The shortcut given to the problem of modernity above, is feared as a step to gain the freedom to shift the existing shari'a barriers. To address this, it is necessary to strengthen Muslim families to return to kaffah Islamic teachings to maintain the purity of Islam which is sourced from the Koran and Sunnah. There are several steps that must be taken to familiarize children with using the hijab by way of, first, by setting an example. Second, by providing an example. Third, by giving/doing habituation. Fourth, by providing repetition. Fifth, by providing training, and sixth, by motivating children to be more enthusiastic.

Junior High School State 40 Bandarlampung is one of four school that was built in 2019. The result of pre-research which done, show that teacher stil doesn’t use media or electronic tools that could help in learning process. The method of research is R&D (Research and Development) with development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) that collaborated with learning model PBL (Problem Based Learning). The purpose of research is to make LKPD which can facilitated student learning activity, and to design LKPD so that can be combined with STEM approach. Data collection about LKPD worthiness was measured with questionnaire worthiness check by specialist graphical, material, and legibility. The result show that LKPD based on STEM got scored 64,44% with “enough” category, from graphical aspect got scored 82% with “good” category, from students responses of legibility aspect got scored 75% with “good” category. The third score was on averages score with > 73,81% and in “good” category.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the learning system to change drastically from offline meetings (face to face) to online learning. In this online learning, students are required to be able to do learning independently. Independent learning is learning that is carried out on its own initiative in accordance with the way or learning style that can support the understanding of independent learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze independent learning conducted online. This is done because there are various problems in online independent learning. Students who are accustomed to doing offline learning (face to face) will find it difficult to understand online learning materials. The long-term goal of this research is to evaluate independent learning conducted online.This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study used interactive model analysis. Online-based independent learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has been carried out well. Kangkung plant is a food that contains lots of vitamins and minerals, but if the vegetable plants are in an area exposed to motor vehicle pollutants, it will affect the nutritional value in vegetables. The purpose of this study was to empirically prove the effect of processing the leaves of land kangkung (Ipomoea reptans Poir) on Pb levels as a material for preparing student worksheets. The research population is land kangkung in North Metro District. The research sample in the form of kale as much as 1600 grams taken at random. North data collection in the form of Pb levels were analyzed chemically in the chemical laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and parametric statistics using One-Way Variance Analysis calculated with SPSS software version 16.0 for windows. The results of the study concluded that: First, the method of processing land kale leaves in the form of fresh, boiled, steamed, and sauteed gave different results in decreasing Pb levels, and second, Preparation of student worksheet materials from the results of research on the effect of processing water spinach leaves. land to Pb levels has two process dimensions, namely: the scientific process dimension from the measurement results and the scientific process dimension from the observation or documentation.
