Monotonous and conventional learning using the lecture method can cause students to be less interested in learning. This causes the concept given not to imprint sharply in the memory of students so that students easily forget and often confused in solving a problem that is different from what is exemplified by the teacher. The purpose of this study is for the feasibility, effectiveness, and development of snakes and ladders media with a Realistic Mathematics Education model on understanding mathematical concepts. In this study, research and development (R&D) research methods were used. This research will be carried out in grade IV SDN Tambirejo with research subjects of 10 students and teachers. The subject selection of 10 students was obtained from the postest and prettest assessments. For teachers, an assessment was obtained from the results of interviews between researchers and teachers. The dependent variable in this study is understanding the concept, while the independent variable is a Realistic Mathematics Education model assisted by two snakes and ladders. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study show that Snakes and Ladders media is very feasible to use, shown by the percentage of media feasibility of 77% and material feasibility of 88%. Critical thinking ability is a basic ability that is very important to master, this is because critical thinking is an important component in higher level thinking. Students' low ability to understand mathematical concepts is caused by the use of teaching materials that are less than optimal in applying mathematical concepts. Efforts to overcome the problem of students' low critical thinking abilities require developing teaching materials in the form of Student Activity Sheets (LKS). This is what triggered researchers to carry out research aimed at developing live worksheets to improve students' critical thinking skills at SMP Negeri 1 Sarang. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model. The research subjects were class VII junior high school students with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The validation results showed that the LKS met the valid criteria with a percentage of 92%. The practical results showed that the LKS met the practical criteria with a percentage of 82.25%. The effectiveness results showed that the LKS met the effective criteria, namely that 80% of students had a score of more than or equal to 75. Based on the research results, it could be concluded that the live worksheet-based LKS to improve students' critical thinking skills in social arithmetic material was valid, practical and effective.

The main problem to be studied in this research is analyzing the pattern of mathematics learning difficulties when solving fraction calculation problems for elementary school students. This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the pattern of difficulties students face when understanding and answering fraction calculation questions. This study aims to analyze the pattern of mathematics learning difficulties of elementary school students when completing fraction calculation operations. The sample includes 5 subjects consisting of 5th grade students at SD Negeri 4 Mayonglor Jepara. Data collection was carried out through observation, as well as interviews with students and teachers. The data will be analyzed and used to explain the problem being studied. The results of data analysis show that students experience various difficulties in understanding the basic concepts of fractions and the ability to calculate fractions. One of the biggest difficulties is understanding the relationship between the numerator and denominator of a fraction. Students also often have difficulty converting fractions into their simplest form, changing fractions from mixed fractions to improper fractions and vice versa. Apart from that, understanding fractions with different denominators is also a challenge for students. The conclusion of this research is that elementary school students face many different difficulties when solving fraction calculation problems. These difficulties include understanding the basic concepts of fractions, changing the form of fractions, calculating the results of multiplying or dividing fractions, simplifying fractions, and applying fractions in the context of everyday situations

This research was conducted because of the low self-confidence and mathematical communication skills of class VII students, especially in statistics. This is because Daarul Ukhuwwah Middle School has its own curriculum and there is no statistics material. Therefore, students do not have the courage to express their ideas or opinions. So, to increase self-confidence and mathematical communication skills of female students, researchers use cooperative learning with the time token method. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of the application of the time token type of cooperative learning to increase students' self-confidence and mathematical communication on set material in class VII SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah 2 Singosari Malang. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this study were class VII-B students of SMP Daarul Ukhuwwah 2 Singosari for the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 31 students. The data collection instruments used in this study were student observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. This research was conducted in 1 cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The study is intended to learn the influence the discovery learning model was to assist audiovisual about the increased ability to solve the math problems of class IV students. It is conducted at Public Elementary School Klumpit 1, with a kind of quantitative research using a matode experiment of one group preposttest design. The sampling technique used in the study is the saturated sampling technique, with the number of students in the fourth class of students in the population of 10 boys and 15 girls. Pretest average value is 47.84. The posttest average is up to 80.36. The normal results of Shapiro-Wilk test that the pretest and posttest data above have sig > 0.05 with pretest data 0.054 > 0.05 and the posttest data 0.063 > 0.05 at significant levels 0.05 and n = 25, and H0 is accepted. N-gain tests, a value of 0.61 lies between 0.3 indicators 0.7 and a moderate increase in criteria. Thus it may be concluded that there is an increased ability to solve students' math problems through learning with the discovery learning model to assist audiovisual media.

Students' mathematical learning results are influenced by many variables, including students, parents, schools, curricula, and mathematics itself. Preliminary observations showed that 27.7% of students received a score above 75 and 72.3% received a rating below 75. The minimum score for the exam was 75, which is the average grade. Many factors can contribute to poor student learning outcomes, including the role of teachers as instructors and their influence on students in creating and using inappropriate learning strategies. An alternative that can be developed on a model with learning is to use a mind mapping defence model. This survey aims to find out how much influence it has found on the mind mapping defense model with the help of power points. The type of quantitative research used in this study is the design of a single group pretest-posttest. The test results are known to have a thitung value of 3.27. Thitung values are matched to with Table values with a significant upgrade of a=0,05 and obtained Table Values of 2.063. Thitung Values are derived that is greater than Table Value (thitung = 3.27 > ttable = 2.063 then Ha is accepted, that is, using the learning model of Mind Mapping and PowerPoint media, the student's learning results can be influenced.
