Specific features of acoustic emission of Ti alloys under plastic strain and fracture 钛合金在塑性应变和断裂下的声发射特性

This paper investigates acoustic emission of annealed and unannealed Ti alloys under static tension. Unannealed Ti alloys have three distinctive AE peaks related to different stages of strain hardening. There is a significant difference in AE signal form and two peaks for annealed Ti alloys. Discrete wavelet transform is used to analyze the measured acoustic emission peaks quantitatively. Calculated informative parameters of acoustic emission allow establishing the relation between acoustic emission and mechanisms of plastic strain and rupture under loading of Ti alloy. Catalysts for hydrodesulfurization prepared by the mechanical activation of molybdenite under cryogenic conditions 低温条件下辉钼矿机械活化制备加氢脱硫催化剂

Hydrodesulfurization catalysts are prepared via mechanical grinding of molybdenite under cryogenic conditions (80 K). Cryo-catalysts are characterized by X-ray phase analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and sedimentation analysis. The catalytic activity of the obtained cryo-samples is studied in a model hydrodesulfuration reaction of dibenzothiophene and in the course of hydrogenolysis of the components of the diesel fraction. It is shown that the activation of cryo-catalysts does not require the use of any sulfur-containing reagents.

The composition and structure of gradient layered coatings: Doped titanium nitride – Dispersion strengthened amorphous carbon 梯度层状涂层的组成与结构:掺杂氮化钛-分散强化非晶碳

By changing deposition conditions using the method of plasma assisted magnetron sputtering the authors produced gradient layered coatings of the (Ti,Al,Si,Cu)N-TiC/a-C. Using transmission electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysis, changes in elemental and phase compositions, as well as in the structure of different layers were established. Effect of friction stir welding on the structure and mechanical properties of the CoCrFeNiMn-0.9%C alloy 搅拌摩擦焊对CoCrFeNiMn-0.9%C合金组织和力学性能的影响

CoCrFeNiMn-0.9%C high entropy alloy (HEA) was produced by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. The as-sintered alloy was cold rolled and annealed at 900°C to produce refined microstructure before friction stir welding (FSW). The structure of the annealed alloy consisted of a recrystallized face-centered cubic (fcc) matrix with a grain size of 9.2 µm and fine M23C6 carbides with 2% volume fraction. Good quality of butt joints after FSW was observed. It was established that an increase of the tool rotation speed from 600 to 1000 rpm increased the average grain size from 3.2±0.7 µm to 4.6±2.4 µm, respectively. The structure of the stir zone contained M23C6 carbides in all conditions. Hardness and strength of the joints decreased with the increase of tool rotation speed due to higher grain size, while ductility increased.

Modeling of heat transfer in breast by modified Pennes equation 用修正Pennes方程模拟乳房内传热

A modeling of thermal behavior of human body tissues is very important for different clinical applications, for example, breast cancer diagnosis. This paper is devoted to modeling of heat transfer in breast with oncological pathology. The classical bioheat Pennes equation was led to dimensionless form following Frank-Kamenetskii representation in the combustion and flame propagation theory. Three dimensionless parameters were found for constitutive equation. It is shown that these parameters may be used as markers which distinguish between cancerous and normal tissues.

The calculation of the temperature dependent diffusion coefficient: The first principles approach 温度相关扩散系数的计算:第一性原理法

The oxygen diffusion in the intermetallic Ti-Al alloys is investigated using the projector augmented-wave method and the Climbing Image Nudged Elastic Band method. The oxygen absorption energies in different high symmetrical site are estimated. It is shown that the oxygen prefers to be mainly absorbed in the octahedral Ti-rich sites. However, the appearance of Al atoms near the O absorption sites results in a significant decrease of the oxygen binding energy in the alloy matrix. The energy barriers along oxygen diffusion paths between considered octahedral and tetrahedral interstices are calculated in Ti3Al, TiAl and TiAl3 that allows us to determine the preferred ones for different directions in the crystal lattice. The barriers restricting diffusion of oxygen in the Ti-Al alloys are established. The diffusion coefficient is calculated using values of the migration barriers and absorption energies in Ti-Al alloy with increase of aluminium content. Investigation of the preparation process of seismic events with the help of seismic noise analysis 利用地震噪声分析研究地震事件的准备过程

The ability to identify the preparation process of seismic events using spectral analysis of microseismic noise was earlier shown in laboratory experiment in the form of reduction of natural frequency of oscillations during the transition of the system to a metastable state. Field studies of the Chilean subduction zone allowed us to identify large earthquakes with the same effects before them. In this paper investigation of the natural frequencies of block oscillations, which can be detected in the spectrum of seismic noise, was performed at a lower scale. Measurements were performed near Gubkin (Belgorod region, Russia), where the development of iron ore deposits and explosive works are carried out regularly. We used the data of the high-frequency accelerometer that was installed at the depth of 300 m from the surface. Computer analysis of the stress state in the Yenisei Ridge 叶尼塞山脊应力状态的计算机分析

This paper analyzes numerically the mechanical behavior of geological depth structures in the Yenisei Ridge. For creating the computer structures of the researched area, the two geological profiles of “Shpat” and “Batolit-1982” obtained by deep seismic sounding were taken as a basis. To model plastic deformation, the Nikolaevsky elasto-plastic model was used. The depth analysis of the state of stress and strain was realized making use of the inelastic strain increments and the Lode parameter. The maximum values of strain increments are focused in upper layers of Earth’s crust, where pressure is lower, and also in the region of the Yenisei shear belt. The view of the Lode parameter distribution closely depends on the variation of strength properties with depth in the lithosphere. Impact toughness of Ti–6Al–4V parts fabricated by additive manufacturing 增材制造Ti-6Al-4V零件的冲击韧性

Additive manufacturing is a new and quite promising trend in the low-cost building of Ti–6Al–4V parts which are widely used in aircraft, chemical, medical, and other industries. It is well-documented that 3D-printed Ti–6Al–4V parts have higher yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and hardness but lower ductility and toughness as compared with wrought alloy. In this study, comparison on the microstructure and impact toughness of wrought Ti–6Al–4V and ones fabricated by additive manufacturing such as i) laser and electron-beam powder bed deposition as well as ii) direct energy wire deposition was performed. The 2.7 times enhancement of fracture toughness of Ti–6Al–4V parts fabricated by electron beam free-form fabrication as compared with cast Ti–6Al–4V alloy was demonstrated.
