This contribution deals with the testing and selection of methods and algorithms for the automatic video image (or visual signal) segmentation. The aim of this work has been to select a reliable and fast method for visual signal segmentation, which can be used in the system for audio-visual automatic TV broadcast transcription.

A multiscale approach to phase reconstruction for Adaptive Optics 自适应光学相位重建的多尺度方法

Adaptive Optics (AO) refers to (servo-control) methods used in astronomical imaging to compensate in real time for the loss of spatial resolution power of the instrument caused by the earth's upper atmosphere turbulence, which produces inhomogeneties of air refractive index and hence modifies in a chaotic manner the optical phase of incoming light from space. In this paper we present the first results of a radically new approach to phase reconstruction in AO based on non linear methods for the processing of complex signals having multiscale properties. We make use of the Microcanonical Multiscale Formalism (herein referred to as MMF) to infer properties along the scales of the complex signal made of the perturbated optical phase, and we perform the reconstruction of the phase using appropriate wavelet decomposition associated to the cascading properties of fully developped turbulence.

Design a power inverter and transformer for piezoelectric actuator 设计了一种用于压电驱动器的电源逆变器和变压器

This paper present the design and optimization of power converter for the control piezoelectric actuator (PEA). In this concept, the modeling and sizing its components concerning power electronic converter, have been proposed to optimize their operational performance of PEA such as speed, torque, power, and efficiency. The study deals the mathematical model of all parts constituting the PEA and its control. The electrical characteristics are deduced and presented by analytical model and simulation. Finally, the results of dynamic behaviour of converter and PEA lead to sizing and realization of test bench for aeronautic applications in the future works.

Physical properties measurement on nanofiber images 纳米纤维图像的物理特性测量

This paper deals with an automatic measurement of nanofiber properties on digital images. Nanofibers are manufactured by electrospinning method with diameters in the range of one or two orders magnitude smaller than conventional textile fibers. Individual algorithms and functions suitably use instruments of computer image processing. A first parameter filling is defined by a ratio of a fiber area and a whole area. Next two parameters are a fiber radius and a hole size. Measured values are converted to the real-world units by using an included scale. Obtained information can be used for determining property as e.g. filtration ability of inspected nanofiber material.

Motion planning with interactive devices 交互式设备的运动规划

This paper presents interaction between a user and a robot to guide motion through motion planning algorithm. The interaction aims at improving the guidance of an operator during a robot motion task in a virtual environment with the help of an automatic path planning algorithm. Existing works use a two-step decomposition which limits the interaction between the user and the ongoing process. We propose a modification of a classic motion planning method, the Rapidly-exploring Random Tree to build a Interactive-RRT. This method is based on exchanging forces between the algorithm and the user, and on data gathering (labels) from the virtual scene. Examples are shown to illustrate the Interactive motion planning system and analysis are done in function on the user's dexterity to manipulate devices.

Cell design methodology for balanced carry-carrybar circuits in hybrid-CMOS logic style 混合cmos逻辑式平衡carry-carry - bar电路的单元设计方法

In this paper, a novel systematic design methodology in the category of hybrid-CMOS Logic style is proposed and used for designing full swing balanced Carry-Carrybar circuits. The critical path of the presented designs consists of only one pass-transistor, which causes low propagation delay. High driving capability, full-balanced full-swing outputs and low number of transistors of basic structure of the designs are the obvious features of them. As known, Hybrid-CMOS full adders can be divided into three modules. Four new full adder circuits with high performance and high drivability have proposed in this paper by embedding the circuits in carry module. Simulations have been performed with TSMC 0.13-μm technology using HSpice and show that the proposed circuits exhibit better performance in compare with previously suggested circuits. These circuits outperform their counterparts showing 52%–81% improvement in the power-delay product.

Spatial sparsity-based blind source separation method including non-negative matrix factorization for multispectral image unmixing 基于空间稀疏性的非负矩阵分解盲源分离多光谱图像解混方法

In this paper, we propose an unsupervised spatial method in order to unmix each pixel of a remote sensing multispectral image. This method is related to the blind source separation (BSS) problem, and is based on sparse component analysis (SCA) and non-negative matrix factorization (NMF). Our approach consists in identifying the mixing matrix in the first stages, by using a spatial correlation-based SCA method, combined with clustering. An NMF method is used to extract spatial sources in the last stage. The overall proposed method is applicable to the globally underdetermined BSS model in multispectral remote sensing images. An experiment based on realistic synthetic mixtures is performed to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed approach. We also show that our method significantly outperforms the sequential maximum angle convex cone (SMACC) method.

A new method for Scheimpflug camera calibration 一种新的Scheimpflug相机标定方法

An easy way to achieve higher depth of field in a camera-laser configuration is to tilt the image sensor respect to the lens plane, such that the image plane, laser plane and the lens plane intersect in a unique line (Scheimpflug condition [1]). If something has to be measured with this kind of cameras, a proper camera calibration must be done. The usual calibration methods are not valid in this case because they are based on the pin-hole camera model, this model being valid only for normal cameras, i.e. cameras that have the image plane and the lens plane parallel. Thus, a new camera model and its respective calibration must be developed, which includes the Scheimplug angle in the intrinsic camera parameters. In this article, the new camera model and its calibration are defined. Experimental results indicate that using this calibration cameras under Scheimpflug condition can be accurately calibrated.

A comparison of several approaches to perform a vision-based long range navigation 几种基于视觉的远程导航方法的比较

In this paper, we deal with the problem of realizing a vision-based long range navigation task in a cluttered environment. To perform such a task, we have already developed two main controllers: a visual servoing one in charge of the navigation in the free space, and an obstacle avoidance one able to guarantee non collision. We have added a topological map made of several characteristic landmarks to realize large displacements. To deal with the occlusions, we have designed an algorithm which can compute the necessary visual data when they are temporarily lost. However, this algorithm requires initial conditions not only on the visual features but also on their depth. If the first ones are given by the last image before the occlusion, the second one is not available on our robot. Thus, in this paper we first propose a supervision algorithm able to select the right controller at the right instant and to switch smoothly between the different control laws. Second, we address the problem of the depth reconstruction and we compare two interesting methods from a theoretical and practical point of view. Simulation results in a noisy context and a table summarizing the advantages and drawbacks of both methods are provided.
