Querying XML and Relational Data 查询XML和关系数据

There has been a growing need for querying heterogeneous data sources, namely XML and Relational databases. Since the relational model is the most data model used to manage data for years. Similarly, the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is quickly emerging as the de facto standard for data exchange over the Internet. Hence, bridging these two models is surely need. Furthermore, each database system uses a particular query language to manipulate data. So, users need to know each query language of each data model. To this point, we aim to define a system to retrieve data regardless of the nature of the model used and eliminates the burden of learning new languages. In such way, the existing users’ knowledge about a query language will be enough and will meet the purpose. Thus, this paper addresses the problem of accessing both XML and relational data, by using a unique query language expressed with whether SQL or XPath. We rely on a new approach in the translation process to convert the user query into the suitable query language according to the nature of the data interrogated.

A Study for Dynamically Adjustmentation for Exploitation Rate using Evaluation of Task Achievement 基于任务完成评价的开发率动态调整研究

Until now, in reinforcement learning, a ratio of a random action as known as exploration often has not been adjusted dynamically. However, this ratio will be an index of performance in the reinforcement learning. In this study, agents learn using information from the evaluation of achievement for task of another agent, will be suggested. From this proposed method, the exploration ratio will be adjusted from other agents’ behavior, dynamically. In Human Life, an “atmosphere” will be existed as a communication method. For example, empirically, people will be influenced by “serious atmosphere,” such as in the situation of working, or take an examination. In this study, this atmosphere as motivation for task achievement of agent will be defined. Moreover, in this study, agent’s action decision when another agent will be solved the task, will be focused on. In other words, an agent will be trying to find an optimal solution if other agents have been found an optimal solution. In this paper, we propose the action decision based on other agent’s behavior. Moreover, in this study, we discuss effectiveness using the maze problem as an example. In particular, “number of task achievement” and “influence for task achievement,” and how to achieve the task quantitative will be focused. As a result, we confirmed that the proposed method is well influenced from other agent’s behavior.

STUDY OF MACRO-BENDING OF POLYMER FIBER IN MULTIMODE POF COUPLERS DEVELOPMENT BY LAPPING TECHNIQUE 用研磨技术研究多模光纤耦合器中聚合物纤维的宏观弯曲

An experimental study of coupling efficiency of a circular multimode fiber coupler dependency of radiation from macro-bending is investigated. The study is done by experimental set-up using various radii of circular blocks customized with matching refractive index material. The aim is to provide a considerable explanation on the differences in splitting ratio, excess loss and insertion loss when different bending radii due to radii of circular blocks is applied to the couplers. Other factors that contribute to the characterization of the coupler include fiber diameters and forces exerted upon the two fibers that lapped together forming the coupler developed. The technique used is proven to develop a low-cost coupler using mechanical lapping technique.

Learning Experiences Using Neural Networks and Support Vector Machine (SVM) 使用神经网络和支持向量机(SVM)学习经验

This article is part of the global data mining framework, it addresses the theme of learning and classification, to identify the classes to which objects belong from using some descriptive parameters. They are particularly suited to the problem of automated decision-making. In this article we tried to implement three learning techniques, the Support Vector Machine (SVM), the Neural Networks and the Decision Trees. This application study aims to compare the results of these three techniques in terms of respecting the performance of the classification used for the contained objects in the data set ̳‘IRIS‘‘ based on the confusion matrix generated by the software weka, which is the tool used to carry out these learning experiences.

Measuring the Performance of Data Placement Structures for MapReduce-based Data Warehousing Systems 测量基于mapreduce的数据仓库系统的数据放置结构的性能

The exponential growth of data requires systems that are able to provide a scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure for storage and processing of vast amount of data efficiently. Hive is a MapReduce-based data warehouse for data aggregation and query analysis. This data warehousing system can arrange millions of rows of data into tables, and its data placement structures play a significant role for increasing the performance of this data warehouse. Hive also provides SQL-like language called HiveQL, which is able to compile MapReduce jobs into queries on Hadoop. In this paper, we measure the efficiency of these data placement structures (Record Columnar File (RCFile) and Optimize Record Columnar File (ORCFile)) in terms of data loading, storage and query processing using MapReduce framework. The experimental results showed the effectiveness of these data placement structures for Hive data warehousing systems. Index Terms Big Data; Hive; MapReduce;

A lots of blind people suffer in their own lives because of their vision loss. Vision is one of the five important senses in the human body. People with Vision loss have their own disability. Many countries around the world provide special assistance to these needed people to improve their life quality as good as possible. They provide them with special equipment for their disability to improve their daily life like voice message service, electronic stick that guide them while moving around and other specialized equipment. This paper present a project idea to establish and provide ultrasonic gloves to blind people for guiding them to their right roads without the need for other people assistant. This Can be done through Ultrasound waves that will be sent to the surrounding then it will be collected by detector in the gloves then to be sent as vibration or Audio signals to the blind's so they can be aware of their surroundings and they can choose their own road and way without other people assistant

Evaluation of Mobile Application Prototype in Context of Design Against Human and Computer Interaction 基于人机交互设计的移动应用原型评价

Application design is part of a process to produce a prototype or multimedia product by integrating several multimedia elements, including text, graphics, audio, video and animation. In the process, it involves some of the important features of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). This study aimed to identify appropriate application designs and evaluate the quality of the prototype which is a tool for teaching special education students. In this study was conducted a summative test of prototypes to see the effectiveness of application design taking into the characteristics of human and computer interaction. Results showed the application excellent in the quality of the application and management. In terms of the pedagogy strategies and integration of multimedia elements showed is good and accepted to proceed as a tool in teaching and learning. In the conclusion, the design of teaching and learning tool should follow that criteria for giving the impact to the students. Keyword : Human computer interaction, prototype design, mobile application, special education, teaching and learning tool.

In this study was conducted a summative test of prototypes to see the effectiveness of application design taking into the characteristics of human and computer interaction. Results showed the application excellent in the quality of the application and management. In terms of the pedagogy strategies and integration of multimedia elements showed is good and accepted to proceed as a tool in teaching and learning. In the conclusion, the design of teaching and learning tool should follow that criteria for giving the impact to the students.
