This paper provides us an easier way to understand the undecidability of the halting problem of Turing machines. Our way is easier because author moves forward by discussing some past concepts in an easier way. The concept of Cantor’s diagonal argument has been discussed in an easier and simpler way that then helps us in understanding the undecidability of the halting problem of Turing machines.

Drones are vastly used in many civil and military applications. However, there are many factors to be highly considered in military applications.. In order to send a military drone with the aim of acquiring images from multiple sites, the mission time should be the least possible. Therefore, the minimum route plan is required.Simulated annealing (SA) algorithm is one of the metaheuristics selected to generate a feasible solution to solve this problem. This research exploits the parallelism in the simulated annealing with the aim of accelerating the time to find a suitable solution. Parallel programming divides the problem into smaller independent tasks, and then executes the sub-tasks simultaneously. Two parallel versions are therefore developed on different environment: synchronous SA on SMP, and asynchronous SA Complete Search Space (CSS) on parallel clusters. Experiments are conducted on the parallel clusters environment of the SANAM supercomputer. This research details the CSS, and compares it with the SMP SA developed in our previous study. Comparison is made in terms of speedup, efficiency, scalability, and quality of solution.

Multimedia streaming is the evergreen technology brings quality on-demand and live media content to the end consumer. Streaming enables the users to view real time multimedia content on-the-go at anywhere, any time. The quality of service is a major concern in the increasing network traffic and high demand in media bit rate streaming. An adaptive streaming technique provides innovation compare to the conventional streaming models by dynamically selecting the media bit rate based on the network variation and processing capability to ensure the best quality of service. However traditional environment streaming service suffers with network delay, low quality performance and high cost. With the aid of Cloud, streaming delivers the content at the edges with very minimal delays on pay-for-use model. In this paper, we focus on the comprehensive analysis of various cloud based streaming methods with underlying architecture and compare the performance of cloud based streaming with conventional streaming model. The experiment results shows that cloud based streaming delivery outperforms in terms of throughput, packet delivery and effective use of the network bandwidth under similar network conditions.

Managing energy data from multiple distributed and heterogeneous sources is an important issue worldwide. This study focused on using semantic web technologies in an energy data management system. Specifically, we provided a federated approach a mediator server that allows users to access to multiple heterogeneous data sources, including four typical types of databases in energy data resources: relational database, Triplestore, NoSQL database, and XML. A proposed architecture based on this approach is then presented and our solution can realize the data acquisition and integration without the need to rewrite or transform the local data into a unified data. We further examined our architecture by a case study in a Swiss energy company and tested the system based on
