Opportunistic routing in multi-channel cognitive radio networks 多信道认知无线网络中的机会路由

Cognitive radio (CR) is an exciting technology to improve spectrum utilization. However, spectrum availability can change very fast due to primary user's activity, which makes most of existing CR routing protocols fail to work because they are designed for cognitive radio networks (CRNs) with slow variation of spectrum availability. Opportunistic routing is a promising routing paradigm for CRNs with fast variation of spectrum availability. We propose a multi-channel spectrum aware opportunistic routing (MSAOR) algorithm based on link delay analysis. By introducing channel access probability to characterize the opportunistic CR link, access delay is integrated into queuing delay. Our analysis shows that our algorithm achieves a lower link delay than the existing routing algorithm SAOR (spectrum aware opportunistic routing). Our simulation results also show that our MSAOR algorithm can reduce end-to-end delay by up to 50%, can increase the supported offered load by up to 190% and is more robust than SAOR.

Realization of embedded speech recognition module based on STM32 基于STM32的嵌入式语音识别模块实现

Speech recognition is the key to realize man-machine interface technology. In order to improve the accuracy of speech recognition and implement the module on embedded system, an embedded speaker-independent isolated word speech recognition system based on ARM is designed after analyzing speech recognition theory. The system uses DTW algorithm and improves the algorithm using a parallelogram to extract characteristic parameters and identify the results. To finish the speech recognition independently, the system uses the STM32 series chip combined with the other external circuitry. The results of speech recognition test can achieve 90%, and which meets the real-time requirements of recognition.

LSI development of 8×8 single-user MIMO-OFDM for IEEE 802.11ac WLANs 用于IEEE 802.11ac wlan的8×8单用户MIMO-OFDM的LSI开发

Multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is powerful in enhancing communication capacity or reliance. The IEEE802.11n standard defines use of four spatial streams in spatial division multiplexing (SDM). The task group of IEEE802.11ac will extend it to eight spatial streams. This paper reports LSI development of an 8×8 MIMO-OFDM baseband transceiver compatible with the IEEE802.11ac specification. Two types of 8×8 MMSE MIMO detectors based on Strassen's matrix inversion have been presented. The transceiver designed on 90-nm CMOS technology has 13.3 millions in logic gates and consumes 1.4 W in the maximum power dissipation.

Wideband spectrum sensing in modulated wideband converter based cognitive radio system 基于调制宽带变换器的认知无线电系统中的宽带频谱感知

Wideband spectrum sensing is a fundamental problem in cognitive radio networks. In this paper, a wideband spectrum sensing procedure which consists of four steps, i.e., coarse support recovery, fine binary detection, band edges detection and clustering, for modulated wideband converter (MWC) based cognitive radio system at sub-Nyquist rate is proposed. Simulations show that with a sub-Nyquist sampling rate, the proposed spectrum sensing procedure can locate spectrum holes correctly.

Multiple access with multi-dimensional learning for cognitive radio in open spectrum 基于多维学习的开放频谱认知无线电多址接入

In this paper, we present an Multi-Dimensional Learning multiple access control scheme for cognitive radio users in unlicensed spectrum. The proposed scheme is developed by applying reinforcement learning to the perspectives of both channel assignment and retransmission policy based upon a multichannel p-persistent CSMA algorithm. In a distributed open spectrum sharing situation, decisions regarding channel assignment and the p-persistent probability level are made by each individual cognitive radio user considering historical transmission experiences. Through the learning process, cognitive radio users are expected to avoid each other, and maintain an optimum transmission rather than contending for a channel. In the situation where two groups of users have different levels of offered traffic, simulation results have shown that our proposed scheme significantly increases the throughput, and optimizes the transmission delay of both cognitive user groups, compared with the schemes that only apply reinforcement learning to channel assignment.

Capacity optimization of ultra-wide band system under the coexistence with IEEE 802.11n IEEE 802.11n共存下的超宽带系统容量优化

Considering the potential interference of ultra-wide hand (UWB) system to OFDM based narrowband wireless communication system, such as IEEF. 802.1 In system, this paper investigates the optimal power allocation scheme for Impulse Radio UWB (1R-IIWB) user in order to maximize the total transmission rate of UWB with the constraints that its interference to IEEE 802.11n user is below a certain threshold. Therefore, UWB user could reach its best performance regarding to transmission rate, while the coexisting IEEE 802.11n user tends to work normally with permissible interference from UWB user. Simulation results show that the optimal power allocation scheme significantly increases the capacity of UWB user compared with equal power allocation scheme.

Beamforming codebook design and performance evaluation for 60GHz wireless communication 60GHz无线通信波束形成码本设计与性能评价

This article puts forward a method for codebook design to support beamforming mechanism in a 60GHz millimeter-wave wireless communication environment. The codebook is designed with only phase shifting but not any amplitude adjustment to meet the low power consumption requirement. IEEE802.15.3c beam MRA (main response axis) directions are taken as the original version to make curve fitting, so that weighting vector based on uniform weighting can be obtained to generate a codebook matrix. The simulation results show that, compared with the codebook in IEEE802.15.3c, similar main lobe patterns can be obtained in the proposed codebook, while the side lobe level is lower and the antenna gain at the direction of MRA is higher. Meanwhile, the interference decreases obviously with an improved network channel capacity in the practice environment, and the codebook is also robust to the beam shifting deriving from phase errors.

A new image authentication scheme using bit plane feature of wavelet coefficient 一种利用小波系数位平面特征的图像认证新方案

This paper proposes a new image authentication scheme, which is done in the wavelet domain. A magnitude of coefficient in selected sub-bands is determined in terms of bit plane data. An image feature is generated from this data and then signed to be a digital signature. The Signature can be embedded into host image or separately send. The feature is only 256 bytes. With the proposed scheme, image authentication can be performed effectively.

An energy-saving scheme for cellular networks based on frequency distribution 一种基于频率分布的蜂窝网络节能方案

We propose an energy saving scheme for wireless access networks called FDS (Frequency Distribution Scheme), which associates frequency allocation with service classes. In this scheme we construct a multi-period algorithm and a TSM (Traffic Supervision Mechanism) to adaptively distribute as few frequencies as possible while still satisfy the traffic demand. We implement our scheme in a sample wireless network, and the simulation results show that our scheme not only saves frequency resources, but also reduces the transmission power.

Performance analysis of IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocol for WSNs in burst error channels 突发错误信道下wsn的IEEE 802.15.4 MAC协议性能分析

A three-dimensional discrete-time Markov Chain model is applied to analyse the performance of the IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocol under burst channel errors. Real world wireless sensor network conditions including unsaturated traffic, frame retransmission and acknowledgement (ACK) frame transmission are considered for the analysis. The system performance is evaluated in terms of aggregate network throughput, average power consumption per node, frame delivery ratio, and bytes-per-Joule capacity per node. Analytical results are validated through ns − 2 simulations. The effects of varying channel conditions and frame arrival rate on the performance of the system are also discussed.
