Implementation of modified Vernam algorithm for radioactive transportation monitoring system 改进的Vernam算法在放射性传输监测系统中的实现

Safety and security aspects of radioactive substances from the sender to the receiver are important and should be assured. This research proposes implementation of modified Vernam algorithm to encrypt SMS which contains status information in transporting radioactive substances The results show that there are no errors in the process of data encryption and decryption as long as it uses the same key. In addition, the computational time required to perform encryption and decryption of 1 character is 0.83 ms. Using modified Vernam algorithm will increase the security level of data but must be paid with additional computing time and success rate depends on the similarity of randomly generated key.

Real time hand gesture movements tracking and recognizing system 实时手势运动跟踪和识别系统

Human computer interaction has a long history to become more intuitive. For human being, gesture of different kind is one of the most intuitive and common communication. However, vision-based hand gesture recognition is a challenging problem, which is involved complex computation, due to high degree of freedom in human hand. In this paper, we use hand gesture captured by web-cam instead of mice, for natural and intuitive human-computer interaction. Skin detections method is used to create a segmented hand image and to differentiate with the background. A contours and convex hull algorithm is used to recognize hand area as well as the number of fingertip of hand gesture image to be mapped with button. Moreover, for detection of hand gesture motion, we use Lucas-Kanade pyramidal algorithm. The result shows that this system can operate well so we can interact with computer using our hand gesture instead using a mouse.

Design of geometric-based inverse kinematics for a low cost robotic arm 低成本机械臂几何逆运动学设计

In order to effectively control end effector of a robotic manipulator, one needs to solve inverse kinematics of the robot. This paper reports an investigation to solve inverse kinematics of a low cost 6 degrees of freedom (6 DOF) robotic arm. Since this robot provide no feedback signal, we propose to use a simple geometric-based inverse kinematics. Experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method, while the accuracy is still acceptable to some extent.

Design of robust-fuzzy controller for SMIB based on power-load cluster model with time series analysis 基于时间序列分析的电力负荷聚类模型的SMIB鲁棒模糊控制器设计

Dynamic stability analysis is one of important issue in electrical power system study. This paper aims to analyze and design the control of power generation operation system in small disturbance events. This condition is affected by changes in the prime mover of mechanical power input in generator system due to power fluctuation in load, so that the system becomes unstable. In the analysis of electrical power distribution, generation unit provides power output based on regulations of fluctuating power. This distribution system that provides continuous data periodically is actually performing a pattern of dynamic time series model. Within the statistical methods analysis, the presentation of load data will be analyzed through clustering method based on the average distribution and peak loads. This kind of pattern description is purposed to enable the control system for anticipating the changes in the load model, where each of load cluster represents one dynamic system model in appropriate operation condition. The solution of dynamic models control systems, performed by Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Inference System (TS-FIS) as multiple soft switching controllers and optimal control gain for each dynamic model. Those can be distributed into TS-FIS outputs, to achieve robustness of power generation system that affected by changes in huge variation of load power. In this study, the cluster analysis technique has produced seven data's groups with interval of 18 MVA. By performing Robust-Fuzzy control through TS-FIS as multiple soft switching, can be proved that the power generating performance is better than using Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) optimal control, since Robust-Fuzzy control Integral Absolute Error (IAE) is better than LQR optimal control IAE.

Characteristics and suppression of secondary arc on 500 kV transmission lines for single pole reclosure purposes 500kv单极重合闸输电线路二次电弧特性及抑制

Single phase to ground faults are the most frequent problem in the extra high voltage overhead lines, and are temporary in most cases. This type of fault can be quickly eliminated using a single pole reclosure, but secondary arc phenomenon often makes the reclosure fail to work. This study aimed to obtain the characteristics of the secondary arc on the 500 kV transmission lines as well as obtain a solution to minimize the amplitude of secondary arc on both transposed and untransposed lines, so that the reclosure can work properly and the system maintains its stability. The effect of high speed grounding speed and neutral reactor attachment at neutral of shunt reactors on minimizing secondary arc and a possibility to activate shunt reactor only during dead time are analyzed in this study.

Forward kinematics analysis of a 5-axis RV-2AJ robot manipulator RV-2AJ五轴机器人机械手正运动学分析

This paper presents the forward kinematics analysis for the Mitsubishi Melfa RV-2AJ industrial robot with a five degree of freedom (DOF) revolute joints. The kinematics problem is defined as the transformation from the joint space to the Cartesian space and vice versa. An analytical solution using Denavit-Hartenberg (D-H) representation to describe the position and orientation of the robot end-effector is presented. Several lab experiments to verify the developed kinematics equations have been conducted. In this study, the developed kinematics solutions were found to be accurate (98.68%) compared to the real robot. These findings have important implication for developing dynamic simulation model that can be used to evaluate position and force control algorithm.

The intelligent energy harvesting management policies in wireless sensor networks with directional water-filling algorithm 基于定向充水算法的无线传感器网络智能能量收集管理策略

This work considers an simulated energy management for energy harvesting sensor nodes. There are four energy management, that is Optimal Offline Policy, Optimal Online Policy, Constant Water Level Policy, Adaptive Energy WF Policy, and Time-Adaptive Energy WF Policy. Energy harvest source that used in this paper is the sun energy. Optimal energy management is energy management that is able to keep maintaining the availability of energy in each time slot and generates optimal throughput. Work scenario for sensor nodes in this simulation is as wireless nodes. The results are extended to include models where differences in propagation paths cause multipath components of transmitted signal arrives at receiver via different propagation paths and different times. Difference in arrival times at receiver causes received signal interference occurs, which would give rise to phenomenon of fluctuations in amplitude and false of received signal, and raises fundamental phenomenon called Fading. Fluctuations in signal amplitude that occurs is random and can not be determined in advance, and when are incurred.

Design of Small Smart Home system based on Arduino 基于Arduino的小型智能家居系统设计

Smart Home is applied in order to provide comfort, energy efficiency and better security. Smart Home System is still rarely used in Indonesia because of the cost and the difficulty of getting the device. The objective of this paper is to offer a Small Smart Home System designed and created by utilizing WLAN network based on Arduino microcontroller. The system is able to monitor and control lights, room temperature, alarms and other household appliances. Results from testing the system show proper control and control monitoring functions can be performed from a device connected to a network that supports HTML5.

The system is able to monitor and control lights, room temperature, alarms and other household appliances. Security constrained optimal power flow incorporating preventive and corrective control 安全约束下结合预防和纠正控制的最优潮流

This paper proposes an approach for optimal power flow with incorporation of preventive and corrective control. The approach is useful for operation planning to guarantee secure operation under both normal and contingency states. Therefore, the approach consists of main problem and sub problem representing normal and contingency states, respectively. In normal state, preventive control is used to secure the system while in contingency state, corrective control is employed to satisfy system constraints. The objective of main problem is to minimize operation cost while the sub problem is aimed to minimize power generation deviation in order to avoid ramp rate violation. The approach uses iterative process involving normal and contingency states. At contingency state, power redispatch is conducted as corrective control to avoid system violation. If power redispatch violates ramp rate of generator unit, the exceeding power will be fed back to normal state to recalculate the generator output in the normal state. This calculation in normal state is called as preventive control. To show the effectiveness of the proposed approach, IEEE 9 bus system and modified Jawa Bali 25 Bus system is used. The result shows that the proposed approach is able to secure the operation under both normal and contingency states.

The influence of hole-truncated to characteristic performance of the equilateral triangular antenna for mobile satellite communications 空穴截断对移动卫星通信等边三角形天线特性性能的影响

The previous single element antenna was made of two separated layers, one for the patch antenna (upper) and the other for the feed-line (below), using proximity feed for a thin configuration. In this time, a novel dual feed antenna with a hole-truncated is proposed for the generation of a compact LHCP (Left Handed Circular Polarization) using a compact equilateral triangular-patch antenna, that one of the microstrip-line feeds is longer than the other for introducing a 90° phase delay. The influence of the hole-truncated that embedded on the patch is investigated to make the patch antenna smaller than the previous antenna. The method of moments (IE3D Zeland Software) is used considering a finite ground analysis. The simulation results show that the patch length decreases by 12.65 % (a = 52.80 mm to a = 46.12 mm) with a gain and axial ratio at 2.5025 GHz being 6.82 dBic and 0.66 dB, respectively. The bandwidth of the hole-truncated antenna, by comparison of the previous antenna is smaller.
