The development of local ecological excursion programs that introduce children and adults to the nature of their native land is considered as one of the main tools for the advancement of the ecological culture of the population. Methodological support of excursion routes involves both the elaboration of each route and their integration into educational programs with a gradual increase in the amount of information and the level of complexity. The implementation of such programs among school children and adults will have a multiplicative effect, expressed both in increasing the level of environmental knowledge and in the formation of competencies among citizens necessary to solve environmental problems.
