Sons and Lovers not only makes the fame for D. H. Lawrence himself, but also is a highly biographical novel. Many scholars attempt to interpret it from the Freudian psychoanalytical perspective and regard the novel as the portrayal of Oedipus love between mother and son. Yet, that does not speak the essence for the novel and Lawrence's real intent in artistic creation. This paper will explore the theme of Sons and Lovers from D.H. Lawrence own view on life, that is, the pursuit of the true life and the integrated self. The significance of penetrating deep into the true-life-pursuit theme of the novel lies in the fact that the life diversity could be revived to enlighten people's lives who have been frustrated in their mechanized complexes.

Gansu province enjoys a very important geographical position along "the Belt and Road", and its cooperation and communication with "Russian-speaking countries" are obviously strengthened in particular. However, the subsequent problem of lacking Russian language talents, especially compound ones, has put new requirements for the training mode of Russian language talents in local universities. This paper, based on the local characteristics of Gansu province, explores the cultivation of Russian talents in local universities and puts forward some feasible suggestions from the three aspects of "going global of traditional Chinese medicine culture", "tourism" and "classics translation".

This study takes the coverage of China related COVID-19 news as the data to examine how a global epidemic is being reported. Through a corpus assisted analysis of the keywords and collocations, together with a qualitative examination of the discursive strategies, we find that an epidemic paralyzed China who adopts ineffective epidemic prevention measures is constructed. Using headline as a mini narrative, and headlines as a moral lecture are the commonly adopted discursive strategies. The findings have some implications for the fair-minded communication across countries in the era of the global fight of the pandemic.

In order to realize discourse communication, terms go first. In order to realize term planning, design goes first. The terminological project named "Key Concepts in Chinese Thought and Culture" has displayed multifaceted traditional Chinese culture through channels such as online term bank, printed books for adults and children, which is also an important step for the practice of local knowledge and universal value. Its unique humanity and tradition are rarely found in the existing international term bank. This paper studies and evaluates the macro- and meso-design features of its term bank and picture book in terms of the three parameters, namely, term selection, term arrangement and term categorization.

The development of online courses has brought challenges to Chinese teaching in local colleges, and has had a certain impact on the traditional teaching mode, teacher's role awareness, and student participation. These challenges warn that local colleges and universities must increase the reform of Chinese language courses, use online courses to improve the construction of Chinese language courses, encourage teachers to change their ideas and reform the curriculum teaching system, strengthen students' practical training and improve their ability to use Chinese.

The present article focuses on some important facts concerning the development of Slavic studies in Russia in the first half of the 19th century. Within this context, the author of the article analyses the driving force behind the increased interest among the scientific community in studying Serbian epic poetry. This interest is claimed to have become a necessary condition for the establishment of cultural linguistics as one of the areas of linguistics, which studies certain cultural phenomena reflected in the language and significant for national self-consciousness and historical memory. Scientific research conducted by Russian Slavists (e.g. V.I. Lamansky, I.I. Sreznevsky, A.A. Maikov, N.I. Nadezhdin, etc.) lead to the conclusion that the monuments of folk literature served as a rich and valuable linguistic and ethnographic source to them in studying the history of the Serbian language and culture. The article targets the scientific and cultural community the members of which work towards consolidating Slavic unity.

The Manchukuo was a pseudo-government mainly established by the adherents of the Qing Dynasty after the Japanese occupied the three northeastern provinces after the September 18th Incident to divide China, and the Chinese government never recognized its legitimacy. Changchun was once identified as the "capital" of the Manchukuo by the Japanese invaders. Pu Yi, a representative of the pseudo-regime, was active here for nearly 14 years. From the perspective of Changchun, this paper first discusses the general situation of Changchun, the culture of Changchun in the late Qing Dynasty and the outbreak of the September 18th Incident, and then analyzes the influence of Japan on Changchun culture during the Manchukuo period from the perspectives of education, literature, and

Cultural exchange plays an important role in establishing Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and strengthening the new vitality of Chengdu-Chongqing development, and it is of great significance to explore how to promote Chengdu-Chongqing cultural exchange and cooperation from the perspective of cultural community. At present, the cultural exchanges between Chengdu and Chongqing enjoy favorable foundations. However, there is still room for improvement in the protection of historical and cultural resources, the positioning of urban culture, and the agglomeration and development of cultural industries. Based on the situation of Chengdu-Chongqing cultural cooperation in recent years, this paper makes research from the aspects of the coordination mechanism, cultural resources, cultural brands and cultural industries, etc., trying to explore effective paths for the cultural cooperation and exchange between Chengdu and Chongqing. The Chengdu-Chongqing cultural cooperation and exchange will lead the regional cultural exchange and innovation, and also promote the high-quality construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

The article raises the question of the role and significance of ancient Chinese writing for the preservation and development of the Chinese language, the study of which is impossible without analyzing the monuments of writing and culture of China — Jiaguwen (writing on turtle shells and animal bones, XIV-XI centuries BC). The article raises the question of the need to search for new auxiliary research methods for such valuable and significant written monuments. The authors proposed and considered a statistical method for studying signs (keys / hieroglyphs) on turtle shells, thanks to which the possibility of a sufficiently accurate determination of the surface of the shell by digital photometry data was demonstrated. Thanks to this method, the number of characters (ancient keys / hieroglyphs) was determined in a number of complex areas. This method could be additional, primarily for visual research by specialists in various fields of science. The research of the ancient written language plays a vital role in understanding human history and enriching human civilization.

The Qinling Mountains are known as the dragon veins of China, and are also the central mountains that are geographically compatible with north and south, and run through the east and the west. Such natural geographic conditions determine the special ecology of the Qinling. The Qinling Mountains are located near Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty. Visitors passed through the Qinling Ancient Road very frequently, and living at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains became a leisure fashion for the upper class in the Tang Dynasty. Such natural and humanistic conditions have promoted the prosperity of Tang poetry on Qinling theme. And these Tang poems mostly reflect that Qinling ecological landscape is compatible with that of the north, the south, the east and the west in regional features and gradual and repeated progress in seasonal features. And then, aesthetics of poetry has been formed in Tang poems.
