Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is government policy to enrich different learning experiences and practical skills. However, this new policy is subject to be interpreted and adapted into established existing curriculum. The aim of the research is to identify and analyze the interpretation and implications of MBKM policy in developing the curriculum of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program. Content analysis is used and reinforced by interview data. It is shown that the Islamic Religious Education study program interprets the MBKM policy as an effort to expand sources and learning media, as well as enrich perspectives in the learning process. The implication is developing the curriculum through expanding learning programs based on teaching assistance, research, community service, and edupreneurship initiatives, as well as facilitating students in the independent campus program.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused such a huge impact on the education sector, any ongoing educational program must be temporarily suspended and adjusted to the situation so as not to endanger the community. This of course can be a potential for not achieving educational goals as they should. This study aims to describe how the implementation and efforts made by the madrasa in MTs Miftahul Huda, Tayu, Pati in running an exemplary program in shaping morals during the new normal. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of field research, while the analysis used is descriptive analysis of the flow chart analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman. After collecting data using observation techniques, semistructured interviews, and documentation studies, the researchers managed to find that during the new normal period the exemplary habituation program was carried out with various adjustments. Through these adjustments, the program can be implemented optimally while still meeting strict procedures. Existing programs are designed with good management, through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages that are carried out systematically so that they are still able to meet the educational goals that have been previously planned despite being hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Corruption is an extraordinary crime in Indonesia that is contrary to the values of religious education. This study aims to explore anti-corruption education models based on religious ethics which are implemented in the pesantren of Annuqayah, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. This study analyzes the roles of the pesantren of Annuqayah in building anti-corruption characters in students from an early age. The research was conducted at the pesantren of Annuqayah which is one of the oldest Islamic boarding schools in Madura. The study uses a qualitative method to elaborate anti-corruption education models based on religious ethics at the pesantren of Annuqayah, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, Madura. Researchers used observation, interviews, and documentation in collecting research data. The study found that the anti-corruption education models applied in the pesantren of Annuqayah are role models, habituation of behavior, integration between subjects and behavior, and models of rewards and punishments. Meanwhile, the roles of Annuqayah pesantren in shaping the students’ anti-corruption character are building values of Aswaja (Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah), establishing an honest canteen, giving trust to manage pesantren finances, and providing rewards and punishments. The research is valuable as feedback for the government in the field of education in its efforts to fight corruption in Indonesia.

The Islamic movement has occupied an important place in Sudan's educational world from its leadership in 1989 till the present. The role of the Islamic Movement seems imbalanced and causes influential people "go their separate ways". In addition to subordination, the Islamic Movement restricts academics' and intellectuals' space to speak the truth and connect people's aspirations. This study is noteworthy in light of the Sudan situation, which has seen the loss of many of its best academicians and the absence of freedom and resources for teaching, research, and publication. This study concludes that the Islamic Movement, which has been in power for more than 30 years, has influenced the decline of scientists' careers in the country and their immigration to other countries to keep working after retirement. This study determines the extent of the political influence of the Islamic Movement on the dynamics of the academic realms. This study also explores the truth of the assumptions of the Sudanese people that “the Sudanese government failed, but the people succeeded” by conducting historical and phenomenological analysis associated with the Islamic Movement as an organizational entity as well as a practical political force.

Several previous studies have found that entrepreneurship can be alternative to reducing unemployment. Pesantren graduates are considered to have the potential to contribute to the average number of unemployed due to the lack of competence of students. On the other hand, as community-based institutions, many pesantren have potential that can be empowered. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design a model of entrepreneurship education in pesantren. The research method used is a qualitative type with a literature study approach. The data used in this study are secondary in the form of journal articles, news, government reports, and other relevant sources. The data is then analyzed and integrated with the views of this researcher to produce a new concept in the form of an empowerment model through pesantren entrepreneurship education. The results of this study indicate that the designed model could be a solution to improve the entrepreneurial competence of students. The model consists of four important steps such as identifying business potential, capitalization of capital, capacity building of pesantren managers, and implementation of entrepreneurship education. Implementing the pesantren entrepreneurship education model requires contributions from various stakeholders such as governments, private sectors, communities, and universities.

Indonesian government has been compelled to establish various learning approaches during this pandemic due to the spread of Covid-19 and the rising number of new cases, including distance learning and limited face-to-face learning. This study explores students' opinions about online learning, limited face-to-face learning, and face-to-face learning. The research was conducted at MAN 4 Jakarta. This study is situated in the mixed method. Data triangulation was carried out through field observations, surveys with 139 respondents, and structured interviews with 8 students. The survey results show that 47.5% of students prefer limited face-to-face learning with 1 day of face-to-face learning and 4 days of online meetings in one week. 38.1% of students prefer face-to-face learning, and 14.4% prefer online learning. The interviews suggest that students prefer face-to-face learning and limited face-to-face learning due to problems with internet connection. Offline and hybrid learning allow students to communicate with teachers easier. It offers an environment scaffolding learning enthusiasm. While some students choose online learning since it is less expensive and requires less time and effort to attend class, face-to-face learning is the most preferred by students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of character education in the learning community at Islamic boarding schools in improving the oral skills of students. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The method of data collection and data processing uses literature studies and qualitative analysis, researchers look for data collections from scientific articles in various journals and then analyze them. The results of the study show that learning communities in Indonesia generally use a religious education model to create students' characters who are ready to use, especially in speaking in a pluralistic society, both in terms of language, culture, and religion. Therefore, this learning community is needed to realize a character, religious, and nationalist education. Because with the existence of a learning community, students can find their identity and ability to express themselves better.
