Lampungese is one of the endangered languages today as some researchers claim. Therefore, hard efforts are needed to be conducted such as documenting, maintaining, and revitalizing the language. This paper was done to document one of the language features in Lampungese called phatic. Phatic is an expression word that does not have a certain meaning lexically but has a function in communication socially and pragmatically. Abundant examples for this can be found easily in spoken Lampungese in Lampung province, often they are uttered too in Indonesian spoken by people in the province. The step taken was to gather necessary data in form of talks and interviews. The data collected were then classified into smaller groups based on each characteristic. Having the data classified, a comprehensive analysis was then done to be able to answer the research question. In doing the analysis, the researcher was assisted by some native speakers who measured the analysis correctly. The findings cover various forms and functions of phatic. The first, phatic in Lampungese are found in the form of particle, word, phrase, and combination of phatic. The second finding shows that phatic is used as an affirmation of invitation, an affirmation of predicate, affirmation imperatives, comment markers, evidentiary affirmations, and familiarity builders. Moreover, phatic in Lampungese also expresses a certain emotional condition of the speaker. Those findings enrich the reference of Lampungese especially and linguistics generally.

The Enggano language is experiencing a threat of extinction due to the leak of diglossia among its speakers in Enggano Island, Bengkulu. Diglossia leakage is when a language is not spoken because of its most minor prestige level compared to other more superior languages. The conservation and revitalization efforts are needed because of the lack of the society's optimization in maintaining the Enggano language. This research aimed to analyze the speakers' conditions, language choice, and forms of diglossia leakage among the speakers and devise the most appropriate Enggano language conservation and revitalization strategy model. The research used diglossia leakage theory, language extinction, and language conservation and revitalization. This research used an ethno-sociolinguistic approach through interviews, questionnaires, and study literature. The data analysis is mixed between correlation test, reduction, display, verification data, and conclusion. The research obtained results as follows; correlation coefficient score of 0,949 with sig.0,023, so there is a significant and strong relationship between attitudes in the speakers' language selection with the existence of Enggano language use. The forms of diglossia leakage are code-switching, code-mixing, and the loss of the speech level in four phases. The language conservation and revitalization model collaborates with cultural institutions through the critical stakeholders, primary and secondary.

Bahasa daerah dalam sebuah kelompok masyarakat memiliki variasi bahasanya yang dapat dilihat dari segi pemakai dan tempat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui variasi bahasa Tetun dalam komunikasi masyarakat desa Builaran dilihat dari segi pemakai dan tempat. Metode penulisan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian sosiolinguistik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, catat, dan wawancara. Penentuan informan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data adalah model interaktif Miles dan Hubermen, sedangkan untuk pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jika dilihat dari: (1) segi pemakai/penutur, variasi bahasa Tetun dalam komunikasi masyarakat desa Builaran setiap hari lebih nampak pada siapa yang bicara dan kepada siapa yang diajak bicara dan para penutur tahu menempatkan diri dimana mereka berada dan kapan waktunya mereka melakukan komunikasi. (2) segi tempat, bahwa dalam peristiwa komunikasi pada masyarakat desa Builaran juga memunculkan variasi bahasa Tetun sesuai dengan dialek asal penutur. Dalam hal ini, tempat yang dimaksudkan bukan lokasi sedang berlangsungnya dialog, akan tetapi tempat asal penutur yang menghasilkan sebuah dialek. Simpulannya bahwa variasi bahasa Tetun yang terjadi pada masyarakat desa Builaran dapat dilihat dari segi penutur/pemakai dan segi tempat yang terjadi secara alamiah dan dipengaruhi oleh budaya setempat.

Lesbians are primarily residents of the Greek island of Lesbos. The term gained currency after Sappho, a poet from Lesbos around 600 BC, depicted the state of a female's blistering emotional and erotic lodestone toward another female [1]. While there has been an increase in tolerance and a decrease in discrimination in recent years, and some studies have been conducted on lesbianism and lesbian-related linguistic features, lesbianism and lesbian-related linguistic features have received significantly less attention than gay men's homosexuality [2]. Taking up this issue, this research is determined to elucidate the specific language variation used by the Bondowoso district's lesbian community. As the concept of lesbian-specific words is reformed and deconstructed, this investigation seeks to unearth the meaning of the language variety referred to as slang. Additionally, to complete this research, some sociological factors influencing the use of slang [3] are examined. The interview is conducted to elicit information about the sociological factors that contribute to speakers' use of slang in their community. The result indicates that the majority of slang words are derived from English and refer to gender roles, physical characteristics/appearance, types of relationships, and sexual activities. Bondowoso's lesbian community adapts slang terms used by lesbians worldwide phonologically. Sociological factors and reasons indicate that this queer society views self-identification as a lesbian as the most significant identity because it has ramifications for other attributions.

Expressive speech acts are actions that express what is felt by the speaker, for example, such as statements of likes, dislikes, pain, sorrow, upset, and so on. The method used is descriptive method. The data sources used include https://twitter.com/ warstek.com/status/1239762134579343360?s=20. The results obtained are a form of disappointment with regulations during COVID-19 such as the lockdown rules, the rules for returning to the village, disappointment in seeing the conditions of lectures on campus, fear when watching news on television, and disappointment because the lockdown was extended. The impact of this research as a form of expression of public aspirations through mass media is increasingly open.

Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mendeskripsikan makna citra perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut yang dibahas dari hubungan sosialnnya, perkembangan psikisnya, dan petumbuhan fisik atau biologisnya. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menerapkan teknik teknik simak dan catat dalam pengumpulan data. Data penelitian ini berupa kata, kalimat, dialog antartokoh, dan paragraph yang mendukung aspek kajian citra perempuan ini. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa citra perempuan terbagi atas dua, yaitu (1) citra perempuan dilihat dari aspek fisik atau psikis dan (2) citra perempuan yang dilihat dari aspek lingkungan social dan keluarganya. Dilihat dari aspek fisik dan psikis yang tergambar dalam novel, tokoh wanita Suti adalah seorang perempuan yang tegar walaupun dihadapi dengan masalah yang rumit. Suti juga tumbuh sebagai wanita dewasa yang berperan sebagai seorang istri dan sekaligus sebagai seorang ibu. Dari aspek lingkungan social dan keluarga, tokoh wanita Suti berperan sebagai makhluk yang senantiasa memerlukan orang lain dalam kehidupannya. Sedangkan dalam keluarga, dia berperan layaknya sebagai seorang perempuan biasa yang mengerjakan tugas rumah dan hal-hal lain yang memang merupakan suatu kewajiban seorang perempuan.

Bahasa Bali tergolong ke dalam rumpun bahasa Austronesia yang berasal dari Bahasa Bali Kuna kemudian berkembang menjadi bahasa Bali (yang dalam artikel ini disebut Bahasa Bali Standar (BBS), dan merupakan bahasa ibu orang Bali. Artikel ini membahas tentang morfologi infleksional dan derivasional BBS. Morfologi adalah bidang yang mempelajari pembentukan kata termasuk terciptanya kata-kata baru, dan terbentuknya kata bergantung pada bentuk dasar yang dilekati afiks. Data untuk BBS diambil dari Kesusastraan Bali yang diterbitkan oleh Balai Penelitian Bahasa. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dan teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah teori morfologi bracketing paradox yang dikembangkan oleh Leiber (2009), dan Plag (2002). Teori ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan bentuk sistematik pada pembentukan kata berdasarkan makna. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa infleksi dibedakan dari derivasi dalam hal produktivitas. Kaidah morfologi derivasional pada BBS adalah relatif produktif, dan sepenuhnya produktif. Sebaliknya kaidah infleksi hampir selalu sepenuhnya produktif. Mofologi infleksional memiliki ciri-ciri: tidak pernah mengubah kategori kata, menambah arti gramatikal, penting dalam sintaksis, dan biasanya sepenuhnya produktif. Sedangkan morfologi derivasional ciri-cirinya adalah dapat mengubah kategori, biasanya menambah makna leksikal, membentuk leksem baru, tidak produktif sampai produktif sepenuhnya, afiks derivasional bisa terjadi dalam bentuk infleksi.

Teori ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan bentuk sistematik pada pembentukan kata berdasarkan makna. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa infleksi dibedakan dari derivasi dalam hal produktivitas. Kaidah morfologi derivasional pada BBS adalah relatif produktif, dan sepenuhnya produktif. Sebaliknya kaidah infleksi hampir selalu sepenuhnya produktif. Mofologi infleksional memiliki ciri-ciri: tidak pernah mengubah kategori kata, menambah arti gramatikal, penting dalam sintaksis, dan biasanya sepenuhnya produktif. Even though both are prohibitions, the terms taboo and taboo are two different things. Taboo causes violators to be plagued, while taboo only causes physical sanctions or social sanctions. To avoid violating the pronunciation of taboo words, substituting words or sentences that are considered taboo is carried out. Suppose spoken in a context to change the connotation of the consequences of the mention (euphemism). This study focuses on finding out what taboos and euphemisms are in the Toba Batak culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using observation and interview techniques. The study results found that there were five types of taboos and euphemisms found in the Toba Batak culture. First, taboos and euphemisms on gender {boru-boru > ito (woman), ripe > parnijabu (wife)}. Second, taboos and euphemisms are related to body parts {mapampang > hahurangan dipamatang (disabled)}. Third, taboos and euphemisms related to death {(mate > monding (death)}. Fourth, taboos and euphemisms are related to philosophy, religion or customs, such as the taboo on marrying a clan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mementukan bentuk partisipasi yang dilakukan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Inggris Teknik. Penelitian ini berfukos pada penemuan pola performansi dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Inggris teknik dengan menggunakan pendekatan antropolinguistik. Pola partisipasi yang ditemukan dijabarkan melalui fenomena aktivitas bertutur dalam situasi proses pembelajaran. Data pada penelitian ini adalah rekaman video, wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian qualitative deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa performansi partisipasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris teknik adalah performansi partisipasi mengkonfirmasi, mencari tahu dan menguji. The objectives of this research are (1) To find traditional healing traditions in the Batak Toba community (2) to find the local wisdom of traditional medicine in the Batak Toba community. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study are interview and observation techniques. The theory used to study traditional medicine traditions in the Toba Batak community is an anthropolinguistic theory, namely performance, indexicality, participation by applying three parameters, namely (1) Interconnection, (2) Value), and (3) Continuity. The results of this study indicate that the traditional healing traditions of the Toba Batak community come from natural products in the form of roots, fruits, gums, sweet potatoes, bark, wood, animals, metals, oil, leaves, and other natural ingredients. Based on the method of the treatment process, various methods were found, namely roasting, boiling, milling, twisting, while the community medicinal process was rubbed, drunk, sprayed and bathed. The local wisdom of traditional medicine in the Toba Batak community is the achievement of harmony. The local wisdom of the welfare felt by the community is reflected in treatment, namely helping each other between communities so that the value of welfare between humans and healthy communities is created by utilizing the surrounding environment. The people's habit of sharing and helping to heal each other reflects a religious foundation. The resilience of this religious value is reflected in the belief of society that all-natural products they use in medicine come from Almighty God.
