Background - Technology helps people do things. IoT is a buzzword, but some need explanation. It means internet-connected devices. IoT seeks continuous internet benefits. Lighting, fans, automated doors. These things have internet-connected sensors. IoT technology allows internet-controlled household appliances. Internet-connected computers or smartphones monitor this tool.   Purpose - The purpose of this research is to create a system that can monitor the electric power in the room of the house in real-time through the Blynk application using a smartphone and make it easier for consumers to estimate the cost of electricity for a month.   Design/methodology/approach - Systematics simplify and summarize this study. This study will use the Blynk smartphone app to monitor room electric power in real-time and anticipate monthly electricity expenses. Literature review expands research theories. Analysis and design, explaining the analysis based on the background and literature review, then constructing tools and designing the source code and workflow of the Wemos D1 R1 ESP8266 Microcontroller system. Implementation and testing discuss experimental results and how to test new technology. Study report analysis and development ideas conclude this section.   Findings – This study produced a guide for designing IoT-based power monitoring device applications. Allow users to estimate their household electricity costs quickly and keep this option available.   Research limitations -  This research is limited by the Wemos ESP8266 D1 R1 microcontroller, INA219 current sensor, and led for room lights. Wemos D1 R1 ESP8266 and IOT will be used to create a monitoring system tool and estimate electric power in real time using room fans. Future accomplishment. This method requires many components.   Originality/value - This research may reveal how to lower electricity bills by monitoring and cutting usage online.

A narrative study on Third-Party Logistics practices and optimization measures by the Supply Chain Managers of e-commerce industries in Nepal 关于尼泊尔电子商务行业供应链经理的第三方物流实践和优化措施的叙述性研究

In recent years, the rapid growth of e-commerce has revolutionized the way businesses operate and consumers engage in commercial activities. This transformative shift has brought about unprecedented convenience and accessibility, enabling global consumers to shop for products and services from the comfort of their homes, including for Nepal. Simultaneously, the demand for the intricate web of operations behind these transactions (logistics management) has become paramount. And, In the realm of logistics, the notion of outsourcing by means, Third-Party Logistics (3PL) emerges as a pivotal strategy.Subsequently, this study embodies pragmatic perspective through the qualitative study using the narrative approach thus by unstructured interviews with the select information rich supply-chain service professionals in e-commerce companies employing the 3PL practices in their logistical fulfilments. The study also illuminates on the circuitous reciprocity between 3PL strategies and the distinctive features of Nepal's e-commerce landscape filled with infrastructural challenges and urban-rural divide that co-exist with opportunities. It also delves through the prevalent practices, challenges and opportunities, and also optimization measures by the perspective of supply chain managers, shedding light on the path forward for optimizing logistics for e-commerce, emphasizing the coherent need to incorporate the digital shift, customer centricity and financial prudency, thus holds a significant importance.

Supply Chain Management Practice and Competitive Advantage: Systematic Literature Review 供应链管理实践与竞争优势:系统文献综述

Supply chain management integrates activities through improved supply chain relationships to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The major objective of the study is to review academic articles published previously concerning the relationship between supply chain management practices and competitive advantage to indicate a direction that could need further research. This review adopts the systematic literature review approach to identify studies conducted between 2002 and 2022. The review focused on summarizing the studies' major aspects and analyzing them by identifying themes. The paper identified 25 most impactful studies in this area. The finding indicates that most studies were empirical studies and used a quantitative research approach with an explanatory research design. The analysis of the papers demonstrated that the Resource-Based Theory, Dynamic Capability Theory, Resource Dependency Theory, Relational View, Knowledge–based Theory, and System Theory are among the major theories used as a foundation for the studies. Supply chain management dimensions such as strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, information sharing, quality of information, and postponement are used to measure Supply chain management practices.  Furthermore, price/cost, product innovation, time to market, delivery, and Dependability are used to predict Competitive advantage

Topology Study of Milking Machine Based Parametric Modeling 基于参数建模的挤奶机拓扑研究

The large market for cow's milk makes the order capacity for cow's milk high and will increase the milking process. In the production process, especially the milking process, people still manually use their hands, so fatigue often occurs, especially in people with more than 2 livestock. This causes the production process to be ineffective and the production results are also limited. Creating an automatic milking machine equipped with a milk can, a vacuum tube and a hose. Besides, a topology study will also be carried out based on the model of the machine. The three-unit component will affect the performance of the Milking Machine, especially the milk collector and milk can. Their size needs to be analyzed to get the optimum one. Optimization results for the topology of the milk collector bore diameter showed that the milk flow rate in the milk collector at a bore diameter of 9mm was 6,154 ltr/min, at a bore diameter of 14 mm was 26,566 ltr/min and at a bore diameter of 19mm was 66,128 ltr/min (conditions without being connected to hose). The shape of a milk can with a reduction of 30% from the initial weight, which is 3,358 kg to 2,350 kg, is owned by a milk can with the most optimal cone-dome tube shape. The difference in weight with the tube is generally 1,008 kg. The quantity flow when installed with a 2m long hose is 6,729 ltr/min

Contribution of Lean Manufacturing on environmental performance in Moroccan Industry 精益生产对摩洛哥工业环境绩效的贡献

In the context of globalized competition, sustainable development has become a crucial goal for manufacturers, necessitating a balance between economic, environmental, and social factors. The evolution of production system efficiencies and government policies has been pivotal in mitigating the environmental impact of manufacturing activities. This paper explores the role of Lean Manufacturing in enhancing environmental performance within organizations. It presents the concept, tools, and models of Lean Manufacturing, discussing its contribution to environmental sustainability. The paper bases its findings on a literature review and validates them through two case studies in Morocco. The first case study examines the implementation of Lean tools in a Tangier-based company, highlighting significant reductions in waste and energy consumption. The second involves interviews with managers from Moroccan automotive industries, revealing a positive correlation between Lean practices and environmental performance. The conclusion drawn is that Lean Manufacturing not only reduces pollution and energy consumption but also boosts productivity, thus aiding companies in becoming more profitable and environmentally responsible.

Fish Supply Chain Management Strategy Analysis for Warung Tegal (WarTeg) while Covid-19 Policy is Enforced in the Administrative City of South Jakarta 南雅加达行政城市实施2019冠状病毒病政策期间Warung teg渔业供应链管理战略分析

Warung Tegal is a small, lower-middle class restaurant in Indonesia. The name Warung Tegal, comes from Bahasa Indonesia, where "Warung" translates to "food stall" and Tegal refers to a city in Central Java. Warung Tegal, like many other small businesses, has been affected by the impact of the Covid-19 policies. In order to recover, Warung Tegal need to focused on improving supply chain management strategies especially for fish as one of the menus. This study aims to analyze supply chain management strategies in order to understand FSCM at Warung Tegal in the Administrative City of South Jakarta. The research method used was qualitative descriptive. The data was collected from ten respondents through structured interviews and observation. The sample for this study was the Warung Tegal managers in the Administrative City of South Jakarta. The results of the study showed that the fish at Warung Tegal is usually sourced from the nearest market, but the menu does not take into account the requests of the consumers and is never marketed through digital marketing due to the lack of knowledge in this field. The manager of Warung Tegal also stated that the restaurant's income has been reduced as a result of the Covid-19 policies. The study is limited by the time available for research and only covers the Administrative City of South Jakarta and not the entire DKI Jakarta area. Earlier study only identifies the influence of supply chain management strategies on the buying interest, with a positive result. In order to recover, Warung Tegal need to focused on improving supply chain management strategies especially for fish as one of the menus. This study aims to analyze supply chain management strategies in order to understand FSCM at Warung Tegal in the Administrative City of South Jakarta. The research method used was qualitative descriptive. The data was collected from ten respondents through structured interviews and observation. The sample for this study was the Warung Tegal managers in the Administrative City of South Jakarta. The results of the study showed that the fish at Warung Tegal is usually sourced from the nearest market, but the menu does not take into account the requests of the consumers and is never marketed through digital marketing due to the lack of knowledge in this field. The manager of Warung Tegal also stated that the restaurant's income has been reduced as a result of the Covid-19 policies. The study is limited by the time available for research and only covers the Administrative City of South Jakarta and not the entire DKI Jakarta area. Earlier study only identifies the influence of supply chain management strategies on the buying interest, with a positive result. Assessment of Green Supply Chain Management Practices on Sustainable Business in Ethiopia 埃塞俄比亚可持续商业的绿色供应链管理实践评估

Evaluating organisational performance from the perspective of green paradigms is essential as "green" issues continue to gain global attention. This study evaluated organisational performance and green supply chain practices in Ethiopian Telecom. A mixed approach was considered to meet the study's aims. Structured interview questions and a questionnaire were used as a data gathering tool. Workers of Ethiopian Telecom who held managerial positions and were either directly or indirectly in charge of the business's supply chain operations made up the study's population. 386 of the 426 given questionnaires were correctly completed and used in the study, yielding an 87% response rate. AMOS; Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze, interpret, and display the data collected via questionnaire. The methods of percentage, means, standard deviation, correlation, regression, and narrative analysis were used for inferential and descriptive analysis. Regarding survey results, conducted correlation analysis revealed a statistically significant positive association between the dimensions of green supply chain management and organizational performance, except eco design and operational performance; however, the overall survey result indicates that except for investment recovery, all of the dimensions of green supply chain management, including organizational commitment, eco-design, green purchasing. According to the SEM regression's findings, organizational dedication, eco-design, green purchases, and environmental practices all statistically influence how well an organization performs.

Effect of Coffee Supply Organizational Culture on the Structuralism of Cooperative Societies in Ethiopia 咖啡供应组织文化对埃塞俄比亚合作社结构主义的影响

The statement of the investigation's challenge was the absence of the perceptual selection and inclusion of the logistics administration notion and philosophies. The goal was to look into the cooperative societies' management of the coffee supply chain from coffee planters to the exporting phase in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. The investigators used purposive data collection method & random data collection method methodologies by SPSS was used to elucidate, comprehend, and review the information that was gathered from the three associates (coffee planters, principal cooperative societies, and association of cooperative societies) that engaged in a chain of coffee supply on cooperative societies functionalism. When it comes to internal operations, the explanation provided by the associates indicates that there is reasonable functionalism, and the networking among the colleagues involved in logistics is minimal compared to the associates' use of cybernetics. As the collective mean manifested in the experiment generates consciousness in the initial phase for operation logistics administration, each associate of cooperative coffee logistics must work on the logistics orientation on cooperative functionalism using 360 specimen size, and it serves as a guide for subsequent experiments, leadership operation of logistics administration in the area of a coffee cooperative is significant.

Optimizing Coal Hauling Operations: A Strategic Plan for Increased Productivity at PT Borneo 优化煤炭运输业务:提高PT婆罗洲生产力的战略计划

The purpose of this research is to determine the key operational variables that impact productivity in PT BORNEO and identify optimal targets to improve productivity. A mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative approaches, supported by process observation, was used to collect data. The study primarily uses existing quantitative data, but interviews may be conducted to capture constraints in the implementation plan process. GPS data also collected via an API to obtain information about truck movements, which can be divided into various activities to identify cycle time and analyze system performance. The study found that reducing loading time and minimizing random stoppages can significantly improve productivity, with average loading time being the most important factor. Stoppage before rest time and stoppage in loaded condition and at major prayer time had little impact on overall productivity. Future research could investigate the impact of other variables such as equipment maintenance and driver training on productivity.

Optimized Production of High Purity Sulphuric Acid via Contact Process 接触法生产高纯硫酸的优化研究

Sulphuric acid (H2SO4) is of immense importance to the chemical industry and humanity. The use of Aspen Plus modeling, simulation, and optimization via the contact process has enabled the production of grade sulphuric acid. Notably, the research findings highlight the sensitivity of water flow rate to the maximization of H2SO4 production. Through these methods, a production capacity of around 8 tons per day was achieved, with a purity level of 98.9%. This achievement significantly contributes to meeting the demand for sulphuric acid in various industries. Moreover, exploring alternative sourcing methods, such as utilizing elemental sulphur, offers the potential for further optimizing H2SO4 production. The benefits of improving H2SO4 production extend beyond the chemical industry. Sulphuric acid finds applications in agriculture, petroleum refining, pharmaceuticals, and metal processing. Enhancing the production process ensures a reliable supply for these sectors. In summary, sulphuric acid is indispensable to the chemical industry and humanity at large. Aspen Plus modeling and optimization techniques have successfully improved the production of high-grade sulphuric acid, resulting in increased capacity and purity. Exploring alternative sourcing methods further enhances production possibilities. These advancements have wide-ranging implications, benefiting multiple industries and driving progress in sectors reliant on sulphuric acid.
