This research is about the analysis of da'wah language. Da'wah is an activity to invite others to believe and obey Allah SWT for Muslims. With the development of social media, da'wah is not only carried out in mosques or prayer rooms, but can be done through various social media, and one of them is Instagram. Ustadz Felix Siauw is one of the Ustadz who uses Instagram social media in preaching. The purpose of this study is to determine the lingual characteristics of Ustadz Felix Siauw's da'wah language seen from its superstructure, macrostructure, and microstructure. This study uses the agih method with the analytical technique of Van Dijk. The results of this study indicate that Ustadz Felix Siauw's Instagram post from January-December 2019 has a superstructure in the form of a title as the opening text. In its macrostructure, there is an intention to invite Indonesian Muslims to know more about Islam and put God first. Microstructure by analyzing based on semantics, syntax, stylistics, and rhetoric, and based on its microstructure, Ustadz Felix's preaching discourse from January-December has a lingual characteristic of rhetorical language style in its delivery.

Freedom of expression in Indonesia has reached the best momentum after the reformation era for democracy develops very successfully to the right direction in the last two decades. One such freedoms is free media and this progressive opportunity often been manipulated by particular users. Thanks to the Indonesian government that has issued constitutional law to punish wrong doing of irresponsible users on electronic transation of information i.e UU ITE Number 11 year 2018 and UU ITE Number 19 year 2016. In this paper there are two research questions to investigate: (1) What linguistics strategy is applied to determine implied meaning of a text; (2) How socio-pragmatic contexts and intertexts play a significant role in analyzing the message. The objective of the research is to formulate a Forensic Linguistics perspective on determining implied meaning and message. The result is that implied meaning must be searched by employing lexico-grammatical structures and supported by socio-pragmatic contexts, namely, deictic, implicature and speech acts. It is concluded that in investigating forensic texts particularly to find out deep structure of meaning and messages behind the surface text, microlinguistics and macrolinguistics properties should be imposed in order to formulate language crime supported by linguistic evidences.

This paper examines the setting construction in the ethnographic fiction of Orang-Orang Oetimu by Felix K. Nesi. Analytical descriptive methods, oral tradition, narratology, and setting theory were used to answer questions about: colonial and decolonial settings, socio-educational, ethnographic, and military violence setting. The results depict that the colonial and decolonial grounds left scars on the nation, which experienced previous neglect and alienation in their land. This long-experienced trauma affects massive social, education, and military violence behaviors. In addition, colonial and decolonial history also intersects with ethnographic, mainly traditional beliefs about local history and myths about “sifon,” which is a tradition of having sex after circumcision. Unpredictable and irreversible patterns of colonial, decolonial, and ethnographic settings are also shockingly strengthening the plot, proofing that the well-constructed set produces quality and innovative story, narrative, and narrating.

This study discusses cohesion, coherence, and schematic in the text of the Bali Post reader's letters. Reader's letters contain short letters written by the public with topics that are in accordance with the current situation and related to the public interest. The choice of topics related to Covid-19 is due to the fact that currently many people are writing their complaints due to the Covid-19 pandemic or expressions of praise related to handling Covid-19 which are conveyed through letters to readers of Bali Post. The reader's letter written by the community is interesting to analyze in terms of cohesion, coherence and schematic. The purpose of this study was to determine the tools of cohesion, coherence and schematic of the text of the Bali Post reader's letter. The methods and techniques of data collection used in this study are the method of listening to the technique of note taking. At the data analysis stage, the distribution method and the matching method were used with the deletion and substitution techniques. The theoretical basis used in this research is discourse theory in which there is cohesion proposed by Halliday and R. Hasan (1976:4), coherence proposed by Kridalaksana (in Mulyana, 2005:32) and schematic/superstructure analysis. proposed by Van Dijk (in Eriyanto, 2012:229). Based on the analysis, the following results were found. First, it was found the use of cohesion tools, both grammatical cohesion consisting of reference, substitution, deletion, and concatenation as well as lexical cohesion consisting of repetition, word equivalents, opposites, synonyms, and equivalence. Second, the elements of coherence found include cause-and-effect relationships, means-result relationships, cause-reason relationships, means-end relationships, conclusions-setting relationships, slack-result relationships, conditional-result relationships, comparative relationships, and relationships paraphrastic, amplification relationship, time/temporal additive relationship, nontime/temporal additive relationship, identification relationship, generic-specific relationship, and like relationship. Third, a schematic of the text was found consisting of a title structure, opening structure, content structure, and closing structure.

The discussion about feminism never ceases to be debated in all aspects. Women and men are always contested about who is "the most". This paper looks at this aspect more fundamentally through a novel entitled Bloody Asmara Ken Arok Ken Dedes. The concept of the body in this work is useful for establishing a legitimacy for power and recognition. Until in the end this body discourse was overturned by the resistance about body ownership. Ken dedes won to be a subject that is able to stand alone and even become a domineering person.

This article is about Sturucture and Function of Pantun at Betawi tribe in Rawa Belong West Jakarta. The choice of this topic departs from the author's interest in the form and structure of Betawi rhymes. The formulation of the problem is focused on two things. First, the structure of the Betawi rhyme and the social functions of the rhyme for the Betawi people. The theory used is the theory of structural strata norm of Roman Ingarden and the theory of function of Alan Dundes and William R. Bascom. The method used is to listen and record with the technique of Listening Free Libat Cakap. Analysis of Betawi rhymes shows variations in structure that are different from conventional rhymes and rhymes from other regions. Layers of sound Assonance or repetition of vowels dominated by vowel e {?}, Alliteration or repetition of consonant sounds dominated by ng {?}, rhyme dominated by {er-er} continuous rhyme and cross rhyme {an-i-an}. Euphemism, sarcasm and hyperbole in rhymes are found and dominate. The function as a means of coercion and supervisor of norms in society is very thick in Betawi rhymes. The discovery of the intensity of the entertainment function in words that form distinctive stanzas and rhymes
