Numerical simulation using standard k-e turbulence model was developed to investigate numerically the characteristic of backward-facing step flow in a concentric pipe. This research is focused on the surface temperature, local heat transfer coefficient and Nusselt number with the variation of Reynolds number and step height, in a fully developed turbulent air flow at room temperature. The design consists of entrance tube, inner and outer tubes at the test section. The inner tube is placed along the entrance tube at the test section with an outer tube to form annular passage. The entrance tube varies in diameter causing step height, s to vary (s= 0, 6 mm,14.5 mm and 18.5 mm). Reynolds number and heat flux were varied between 17050 and 44545 and 719 W/m2 and 2098W/m2 respectively. The results show that the higher Reynolds number and step height contribute to the enhancement of heat transfer. Lastly, with the advent of computational fluid dynamic software, fair and agreeable results were obtained for the present investigation.

Simulation of grounded inductance (GI) and Floating inductance (FI) has been an important area of analog circuit research since simulated inductors find applications in a number of analog circuit designs.Inductance simulation circuits using current conveyors(CCs) and current feedback operational amplifiers (CFOAs)have attracted significant attention in recent literature due to the commercial availability of a CFOA with externally accessible z-pin such as AD 844 which can be used to realize both CC-based as well as CFOA-based inductance simulators practically. In this paper a new configuration for the simulation of a floating inductance (FI) employing only two CFOAs is presented. The proposed circuit employs a canonical number of passive components and (namely, only two resistors and a capacitor), and realizes a single resistance-tunable inductance value, does not require any component-matching or cancellation constraints in the realization of the intended type of inductance. To the best knowledge of the authors, no such CFOA-based FI circuit has been reported in the literature earlier. The proposed circuit has been tested by its hardware implementation and SPICE simulations based on AD844-type CFOAs which confirm its practical workability.

Hand gesture recognition is the key technology to realize the interaction between human and machine. This paper proposed an standard deviation approach for the hand gesture recognition to improve the sensitivity problem of the color space. The color space is sensitivity when the light is changing. The proposed approach can reduce a great impact of the color space on light. The experiments of this study show that the confusion caused by the complex background and the objects with the similar color is reduced successfully on the hand gesture recognition. The proposed approach can handle effectively in the following situations: one hand overlapping with the face, not enough light, the complicated background.

The reduction in the operating voltage play a majorrole in improving the performance of the integratedcircuits.Apart from that lesser power consumption, reducedarea and smaller size of transistors are also the vital factors inthe design criteria and fabrication of the systems. This articleapproaches towards the increasing performance of the systemsby comparing different types of adder circuits. In this article, anew circuit has been designed using the TG technology. Basedon different parameters like average power consumption anddelay, it has been observed that the Carry look-ahead adderand Carry bypass adder consumes more power. TheComparative analysis of TG based 8-bit different AdderDesigns using 180nm technology using TANNER tool has beenconsidered.

Recently year, the environmental problem has been the one of most important problem in the world. BioDiesel Fuel from waste oil is now marked around the world.Meanwhile, it is needed to visualize for the executing of efficient policy. Thus, in this research, cloud based environmental load estimation system is proposed. The cloud-based system is widely available for all business scales. In addition, for visualization of the effect from the recycling of waste oil and its collection, a method using the Smartphone is proposed. Some of cordially projects for the environment can be inefficient as regards of whole life cycle of the project. From a perspective of Life Cycle Assessment, boundary conditions about consumer behavior for the project are set appropriately to estimate of effect. We propose the measuring method contribute to the efficient execution of the biodiesel project using waste oil.

Graph coloring problem is a classical example for NP-hard combinatorial optimization. Solution to this graph coloring problem often finds its applications to various engineering fields. This paper exhibits the robustness of genetic algorithm to solve a graph coloring. The proposed genetic algorithm employs an innovative single parent conflict gene crossover and a conflict gene mutation as its operators. The time taken to get a convergent solution of this proposed genetic method has been compared with the existing approaches and has been proved to be effective. The performance of this approximation method is evaluated using some benchmarking graphs, and are found to be competent.

Wireless communication technology has shown that the application of multiple antennas at both transmitter and receiver sides improve the possibility of high data rates through multiplexing or improve the performance through diversity as compare to single antenna systems. In this article, the BER performance of Maximum Likelihood (ML) -Vertical Bells Lab Layered Space Time Architecture (V-BLAST)Spatial Multiplexing Technique using BPSK and QPSK has been investigated in Rayleigh flat fading channel.Furthermore, the comparison of different multiple antenna configurations with BPSK and QPSK have been considered in the given channel. It has been concluded that ML-VBLASTdecoding technique using BPSK modulation scheme gives better results than QPSK modulation technique in Rayleigh channel. More optimal results have been observed for 1×4 antenna configuration for ML-V-BLAST system in Rayleigh channel.

In this paper, we introduced a classifier ensemble approach to combine heterogeneous classifiers in the presence of class label noise in the datasets. To enhance the performance of classifier ensemble, we give a preprocessing approach to filter out this class label noise. The filtered data is then used to learn individual classifier model. After that, a weight learning method is introduced to learn weights on each individual classifier to create a classifier ensemble. We applied genetic algorithm to search for an optimal weight vector on which classifier ensemble is expected to give best accuracy. The proposed approach is evaluated on variety of real life datasets. The proposed technique is also compared with existing standard ensemble techniques such as Adaboost, Bagging and RSM to show the superiority of proposed ensemble method, in the presence of class label noise, as compared to its competitors and also to show the sensitivity of competitors to class label noise.

Internet has played an important role in restructuring the education by introducing e-learning. Electronic learning has multiple benefits like convenience of use, private learning facility, cost effectiveness and provision of virtual environment. It gives users the ability to collect quantifiable and sensible information material. They can examine, distribute and customize e-learning knowledge from multiple e-learning sources. Intelligent agent based e-learning provide a common infrastructure to absorb variedsoftware components. This research study shows a comparison of different e-learning techniques which facilitates and assists the instructor (teacher) and learner(student) by providing electronic assistance with certain beneficial features. A detailed survey of layered architectural techniques has also been presented in this regard which depicts beneficial outcomes for successful e-learning sessions.

In this article the comparison of GDI and TG based Reversible Comparator circuits using 90 nm and 180 nm Technology has been considered. Because of the applications of these circuits in different fields, these are also considered as fundamental requirement in quantum computing. Here transistor implementation of the reversible gates is done by using a combination CMOS-GDI circuit, TG Circuits, which provides the optimal solution for combinational logic, saving 1/3 the power, half the area and 10% in delay relative to a CMOS implementation. GDI circuits provide some measure of enhanced hazard tolerance and are more suitable for low voltage operation. Here transistor implementation of reversible gates is done by using Tanner tools and H-spice tools.
