The present paper aimed to carry out a bibliometric analysis using the VOSViewer and R software, and to discuss the results obtained from queries accomplished by combining the keywords City Information Modeling and Smart Cities, as well as their relationship in the contemporary context of cities. To this end, the Web of Science referential platform was adopted as a scientific database and the adopted filter published articles in English journals from 2010 to 2020. This way, the data obtained were downloaded and inserted into the mentioned software, which allowed the performance of qualitative and quantitative analyses. The sentences used in the research revealed certain particularities, from the elevated and constant production of scientific articles to the absence of publications regarding the direct use of the terms "CIM" and "Smart Cities". Therefore, the use of the proposed tools can contribute to the survey of specific studies in the area in question, as well as revealing research trends in the scientific environment and consequently its evolution in the academic scenario.

This article describes the process of configuration of new centralities in the city of Goiânia and its effects on urban space production, mainly in the last 50 years. Initially, the concepts of center and centrality are presented, followed by the analysis of three fundamental conditions of urban structuring in the metropolis: “unplanned” urban expansion; multiple urban development axes; and (apparently) disconnected and fragmented centralities. Subsequently, the production of urban space in Goiânia (1933-2020), is the object of analysis, as well as the effects of the “new centralities” in its urban expansion process. The urban analysis methodology consists of the analysis of historic documentation from its urban planning process through the last decades and fieldwork documentation. Thus, this article discusses the (re)configuration and (re)signification of centralities as a result of the social production of urban space, as well as its effects on urban expansion and on the expansion of socio-spatial segregation in Goiânia in the 21st century. Therefore, we focus in the description of the strategies of economic and political control of the territory in the emergence of “new centralities”, understanding it as protagonists of the urban structuring of the metropolis of Goiás, influencing urban expansion, socio-spatial segregation and institutionalization of the urban peripheries.

Objectives: To analyze Transcultural Landscapes defined by Public Space and Bioclimatic Architecture of African Brazilians and Indigenous Cultures. Indigenous architecture from native ethnic groups added to Africans who came to the country as slaves. Such Brazilian tropical architecture is characterized by moving away not only from the usual constructive methods, but also from a characteristic of western culture of aggressiveness towards nature. Theoretical approach: Architecture as Landscape, Place and Sustainable Development. Discussion: Conforming Architecture to socioeconomic and environmental issues to conform buildings to sustainability. Theoretical / methodological contributions: Architecture comes from ecological conditions resulting from the natural context (Biophilia). Place as a fundamental concept for the study of geography, linking it to Cultural Landscape in which culture is the agent, the natural area is the environment, and the Cultural Landscape is the result. Cultural Landscape concept was adopted by UNESCO in 1992 and incorporated as a new typology of recognition of cultural assets according to the 1972 Convention, which established the World Heritage List. Social and environmental contributions: Changing the Urban Paradigm through micro-prototypes implanted in the favela Morro do Palácio, in Niterói/RJ from the perspective of Technological Innovations and Experiments with New Materials, Processes, and Tools, as goals of the LAPALU (Transcultural Laboratory of Landscape and Place), PPGAU/UFF/CNPq. Conclusion: Teaching the Project of Architecture and its Social Innovation at the Brazilian Federal University.

The current model of Brazilian cities dependent on individual transport and the low coverage of collective systems in metropolitan regions has generated problems that make it difficult for the population to move and increase pollutant emissions into the atmosphere. This article aims to analyze mobility patterns and relate them to infrastructures and the urbanization process of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas (RMC). For methodological purposes, consultations were carried out on legislation, integrated urban development plans, master plans, metropolis statute and bibliographic review of scientific works on the themes, as well as a survey of the results of the Origin Destination Research, carried out in the region in 2011 and the use of geotechnologies (GIS). After document analysis and the calculation of indicators, it was identified that the pattern of urban-spatial organization in the region presents a strong socioeconomic polarization that directly affects mobility patterns and the absence of integration of public transport systems.

Ecosystem services (ES) represent various benefits to society, especially those of climate regulation. An increasing number of recommendations are being made so that urban planning internalizes the concept of ES to objectively measure these benefits or for decision making. This paper intends to analyze the role of green infrastructure in urban land use to address the potential for providing climate regulation ES in urban green areas as measures of Ecosystem Based Adaptation (EbA). To this end, it was selected as a case study the land use analysis of the Pinheiros District in São Paulo. This region has a high degree of waterproofing, but has significant green areas and potential space to incorporate the expansion of green infrastructure, i.e., to promote EbA strategies, and consequently the offering of ES. For this purpose, geospatial analysis was used with the technical subsidies of a methodology proposed to measure the capacity of different extensions of vegetation coverage to promote ES regulation. The application showed that one of the district's four sub-districts revealed an existing and greater potential to mitigate climate change effects than the other three sub-districts. This discussion is considered timely given the recently released 2021 Climate Action Plan for the Municipality of São Paulo. The results of the work can be considered by public managers and decision makers on the role of urban green areas and their potential for climate adaptation.

Population aging is one of the most significant demographic transformations of the 21st century, since aging brings about changes in the functional capacity of the human being. Over the years, the level of independence and autonomy for carrying out daily activities diminishes, and, thereby, the relationship of the elderly with the environment changes as the person ages, directly affecting the mobility and life quality of this population. In 2007, the World Health Organization (WHO) published the document "Global age-friendly cities: A guide", which presents some strategies for promoting active aging and for the place of residence of the elderly. It proposes that the city´s structure and the public policies directed towards this public shall be integrated with the community´s life. In order to understand how the concept of an age-friendly city has been applied to evaluate cities in different countries, a systematic review was carried out in the Scopus database, based on articles published between 2015 and 2021. The analysis of 38 articles has made it possible to identify that the study field of the quality of the urban environment for the elderly population is new, calling for deeper studies, which includes the development of more adequate methods for evaluating this profile in the cities. The articles analyzed deal with the concept in different ways, but one of the main similarities is related to the use of the method of data collection through interviews and, in spite of using the tool indicated in the document, none applied the methodology proposed by the WHO.

At the end of the 1980s, sustainability became a focus of attention worldwide. More recently, with the consolidation of researches and implementations of smart cities, characteristics that permeate this concept were also studied in greater depth, in terms of smart mobility and smart environment. This study seeks to make a bibliometric analysis on smart mobility and sustainability. The results found show that the researches in this area are recent, with less than a decade of publication, in which Europe concentrates the largest percentage of participation in number of publications and citations, and the main subject addressed in the most cited works is the questioning of the connection between smart cities, smart mobility and sustainability. The map of keywords presents research gaps, which represent opportunities of scientific contribution for future studies.

This article starts from the concept of Communicational Metropolis, proposed by Massimo Canevacci, connecting it to the studies of Lev Manovich, which explain a growing influence of software in our society. With these pillars, a reflection is presented on the conception of a softwarized communicational metropolis that emerges from the use of applications for mobile communication devices. These mobile media have become central for providing mobility to the user who circulates through physical spaces, promoting greater interaction with the territorial context and causing new dynamics of communication and conviviality. Recent data lead us to believe that in a short time practically all mobile phone devices will be smartphones, a fact that will reconfigure established urban practices once and for all. In this context, a set of applications for mobile devices that articulate urban issues emerges as a contemporary instrument that talks in different ways with this multiple metropolis, from the conception of its practices to the cultural changes that they cause. To answer the questions of this research and identify the transformations that took place, Walter Benjamin's character flâneur was used as a methodological resource that led to the definition and analysis of 10 contextual fragments extracted from the metropolis observed in the apps and their images. The intersection of these fragments highlighted particularities and dynamics that updated the understanding of Communicational Metropolis, interpreting it as a combination between its streets, avenues and the dynamics caused by the apps on them, that is, a composition between the mobile applications themselves and the communicational metropolis with which they interact.

This article aims to analyze the spatial distribution of real estate projects, launched during the 10 most intense years of the real estate market in the city of Natal/RN. However, the lack of data on the real estate production of several national capitals, based on the absence of clear procedures for capturing and organizing this type of information, represents a limiting factor for the development of an analysis of this nature. To circumvent this limitation, this study proposed a methodological sequence capable of capturing, systematizing and georeferencing a wide variety of data referring to real estate developments in any Brazilian city. The application of this new methodological itinerary in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte reveals an asymmetrical spatial distribution in the municipal territory, considering that 86% of real estate developments are concentrated in 4 areas, which correspond to only 19% of the territorial extension of the municipality in question. In 3 of these 4 locations there is a tangible connection between the type of real estate production and some physical and socioeconomic characteristics found in them, such as tourism, environment, urban facilities, in addition to the purchasing power of the population. Finally, the role of the State was identified as an inducer of real estate development in a peripheral region through a housing program promoted by the Federal Government.

In 3 of these 4 locations there is a tangible connection between the type of real estate production and some physical and socioeconomic characteristics found in them, such as tourism, environment, urban facilities, in addition to the purchasing power of the population. Finally, the role of the State was identified as an inducer of real estate development in a peripheral region through a housing program promoted by the Federal Government.","PeriodicalId":250730,"journal":{"name":"Revista Nacional de Gerenciamento de Cidades","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125387432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This major interest of this research is to demonstrate the historical, cultural and environmental importance of the path of the Lagoa da Conceição Coast, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. The route is little studied by historiography and intends to reveal another look at the community that inhabits this region of difficult access in the island landscape, as well as the cultural heritage still existing there. For this, surveys were conducted about the history of occupation of the region, mainly in the face of the transformations of current ways of life, seeking to highlight its cultural traits, which still preserve remnants of the former Azorean immigrants. Thus, through walking as an aesthetic practice, in the search for an encounter with the Other, we investigate what we call here the path of the ruins, that is, some abandoned architectures along the Coast of Lagoa da Conceição, emphasizing the importance for the construction of identities and the need for permanence, without an architectural rejuvenationAs results, we elaborated a discussion about the relevance of this heritage and its cultural landscape in view of the concepts and processes of perception that reveal the surprises of these ruins as resistance and resilience of this place for the constitution of promontory of desires.
