Simulation of the Body Motion in a Tube with the Linear HTS Suspension 采用直线HTS悬架的管内人体运动仿真

This paper presents the results of simulation and analysis of the motion of a body in a vacuum tube with linear high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnetic suspension. Tube has the curved shape to consider dynamic processes during turning and moving in the vertical plane. The research aims to develop mathematical model allowing to simulate the dynamic of a body suspended by the linear magnetic system with HTS and define the parameters for stable motion inside a tube. Possibility to control the movement of a body using inductor coils on the outside of a tube is also studied. Acceleration by impulse electromagnetic field and deceleration by stationary magnetic field are simulated by the developed model. The proposed configuration of the linear HTS suspension and control systems is relevant for application for high-speed transportation systems.

Parallel Operation Dual-Output Inverters with PR Control for Railway Signal Power Systems 铁路信号电源并联双输出逆变器的PR控制

A dual-output inverter is presented to meet the demand of railway signal power systems. The PR control is adopted to achieve zero steady-state error tracking of voltage reference and to suppress the disturbance of output current. A parameter design method based on the closed-loop dominant pole configuration is given to deal with the high order of PR closed loop system. In addition, this paper proposes an improved control method for parallel-operated inverters. Synchronous control and current sharing control are used to ensure the stable parallel operation with low circulating current. A 2000 VA prototype is built to verify the superiority of the PR control and the feasibility of the parameter design method. The presented parallel-operated strategy can also realize the current sharing between inverters effectively.

Voltage Stability Improvement by Using a Newly Designed STATCOM Controller in Case of High Wind Penetration Cases 利用新设计的STATCOM控制器提高高风蚀工况下的电压稳定性

In this study, the penetration effect of wind generation on voltage stability in a weak multi machine power system has been investigated. In terms of static and dynamic voltage stability, the most critical bus of IEEE 10-machine 39-bus system has been determined by using sensitivity analysis. The comparison has been made for various wind power penetration levels. It is shown if a large amount of wind power is integrated into power system, the system stability will be deteriorated. In the paper, a static synchronous compensators (STATCOM) is proposed to improve the stability. The calculations and simulations have been conducted by DIgSILENT Power Factory 15.0. Comparative simulation results show that the STATCOM can effectively increase voltage stability margin of the AC system which was considerably decreased due to wind power's penetration.

Measuerment and Monitoring of Two-Phase Flow with Ultrasonic Sensors 超声传感器对两相流的测量与监测

Monitoring of two-phase flow based on the acoustic impedance difference between gas/liquid is investigated in this paper. Determination of existance of gas bubble in liquid media is carried out by application of ultrasonic sensors as a ring-shape on periphary of the pipe. By consider of “time-of-flight” of ultrasonic wave which is transmitted from inside the pipe, cross-sectional images of the pipe are generated. In this study, the principle and the method of image reconstruction which is utilized to generate the cross-sectional images, are briefly introduced. Emphasis is placed on the evaluation of its performance in flow regime identification and cross-sectional void fraction measurement. various flow pattern models are investigated and the corresponding tomographic iamges given. Various frequencies are applied based on wall thickness of the pipe and the maximum applicabe frequency is determined. Finally, an image reconstruction algorithm (Linear Back Propagation) is applied to diagnose the functionality of selected frequency regarding accuracy of void fraction measuremnts.

Spectrum and Cepstrum Based Speed Determination of Stepper Motors 基于频谱和倒频谱的步进电机速度测定

Accurate rotational speed determination for rotary machines tends to be allocated high priority in technical applications. It is not easy to measure shaft speed directly in some cases. Vibration diagnostic tools can offer an alternative solution to the problem posed by direct rotational speed measurement. Using calculated spectra and cepstra can help to determine rotational speed of stepper motor driven systems easily and accurately. This paper summarizes the theoretical background of discrete spectrum and cepstrum based methodologies and shows results of practical experiments. Equations for each method to calculate the possible speed estimation error are also shown. A novel vibration based hybrid spectral speed estimation logic can be defined, which uses the presented equations to decide which spectral method results in the most accurate output. Numerous vibration measurements have been made to test the hybrid methods reliability. The hybrid spectral speed determination method has been successfully applied on various type of electromotive drives, as well as spark- and compression-ignition internal combustion engines.

An Electrohydraulic Actuation Scheme Using Novel Piezoelectrically-Actuated Nozzle Flapper Valve 一种新型压电驱动喷嘴挡板阀的电液驱动方案

This paper proposes a new electro hydraulic proportional actuation scheme, in which a piezoelectric ring bender actuating a nozzle flapper valve is adopted to directly control a single-ended actuator. The piezoelectric ring bender is a less complex, lighter and more reliable alternative to a conventional torque motor. The nozzle flapper valve is used as the only hydraulic control component, rather than a first stage amplifier in traditional servovalves, which allows the whole actuation system to response faster. Due to the lack of flapper displacement feedback, the valve used here is a proportional valve instead of a servovalve in this actuation system. In order to evaluate the performance of the actuator, a system-level mathematical model was built, where the piezoelectric hysteresis effect and the position of the ring bender on the flapper are considered. An analytical solution was implemented by using Matlab/Simulink. Results show that the actuation system proposed in this paper exhibits fast response, good controllability and linearity. A virtual prototype of the actuator is designed to analyze the arrangement. This has potential for use in situations where min load, fast response and high reliability actuation are required.

Modeling and Analysis of EMI and Overvoltage Phenomenon in SiC Inverter Driven Motor at High Switching Frequency 高开关频率SiC逆变电机电磁干扰和过电压现象建模与分析

This paper explains the advantages of using Wide Bandgap (WBG) semiconductor made of Silicon Carbide (SiC) by the characterization of power efficiency and losses of SiC inverter of 15kVA/540V and the analysis of EMI and overshoot of commutation at high switching frequency. The measured power efficiency of inverter can be higher 99%. This inverter also implemented in to electromechanical chain to drive an aeronautic motor (type PMSM). However, faster switching (higher di/dt and dv/dt) of SiC inverter, at higher frequencies, it is necessary to identify the electromagnetic impact (EMI) and the overshoot switching voltage. The experimental results will be shown the interesting of this technology and the impact at high switching frequency.

An Isolated Buck-Boost Converter with Hybrid Three-Level Rectifier for Wide and High Output Voltage Applications 一个隔离降压-升压转换器与混合三电平整流器为宽和高输出电压的应用

An isolated Buck-Boost (IBB) converter with hybrid three-level rectifier, which is composed of a two-level diode rectifying-leg and a semi-active three-level rectifying-leg, is analyzed and evaluated in this paper. The diodes and active switches in the semi-active three-level rectifying-leg is only half of output voltage, which makes this converter more suitable for high output voltage applications. Both step-up and step-down voltage conversion are realized by adopting optimized phase-shift modulation strategy. In addition, soft-switching of all the active switches and diodes on both primary and secondary sides are achieved within wide operation range. All these features make the IBB converter be suitable for wide and high output voltage applications. Operational principles and characteristics of this converter are analyzed in detail. Experimental results with a 2kW prototype are provided to evaluate the effectiveness and advantages of the presented converter.

Comparative Analysis of Small-Signal Dynamics in Virtual Synchronous Machines and Frequency-Derivative-Based Inertia Emulation 虚拟同步电机小信号动力学与基于频率导数的惯性仿真的比较分析

This paper presents a comparison of small-signal dynamics for a current controlled Virtual Synchronous Machine (VSM), a voltage controlled VSM and a df/dt-based control strategy for inertia emulation. The comparison is based on state-space models of the considered control schemes, which are linearized and utilized for eigenvalue-based analysis. Starting from a comparison of the three schemes with manually tuned controller parameters, it is shown that the current controlled VSM can be unstable for strong grid conditions, while the df/dt-based control becomes unstable when the grid impedance is high. Thus, an iterative tuning algorithm based on eigenvalue parametric sensitivities is applied to investigate how much the time-response and damping of the critical modes can be improved. Limitations to the dynamic performance are identified by participation factor analysis of the critical modes. The results demonstrate that all the investigated schemes can be stable for a wide range of operating conditions, but with inherent differences in the inertial response.
