A flexible virtual system for real time simulation and evaluation of motor drives 一个灵活的虚拟系统,用于实时仿真和评估电机驱动

This paper presents and implements a flexible virtual system for motor drive real time simulation and evaluation, which is based on a Hewlett-Packard testing machine. The system consists of a personal computer with A/D and D/A converters and a visual development environment that combines the convenience of direct hardware access and power of visualized software programming. With this system, various motor drive configurations can be flexibly simulated, tested and evaluated at real time, and also control signal can be fed back to real drive system. The simulation results show that it is possible to run a virtual motor drive with hardware in loop as a real one at real time.

Control of PWM inverter using a discrete-time sliding mode controller PWM逆变器的控制采用离散时间滑模控制器

PWM inverters are widely used in UPS systems and driving induction motors. They give AC sinusoidal voltage under linear or nonlinear loads which is a basic tracking control problem. Since the duty cycle of a PWM inverter is unchanged within one switching period, inverters are very suitable to be represented by discrete-time state equations. A discrete-time sliding-mode controller based on an improved reaching condition has been proposed by Gao et. al. This paper applies this controller to control PWM inverters with linear and nonlinear loads. It is shown that good output responses are obtained in both cases.

Harmonic analysis of the PWM series/parallel bootstrap variable inductance PWM串并联自举可变电感的谐波分析

A FACTS controller, the bootstrap variable inductance (BVI), can emulate positive/negative variable inductance, for controlling either series or shunt parameters of transmission lines. A new analysis method for PWM of the BVI's switching amplifier is presented. A MATLAB program has been written implementing the formulas. The analytical results are confirmed for an example by FFT analysis, and the spectra are in good agreement. The analysis is also applicable to other PWM modulation schemes.

Space voltage vector modulated three-phase voltage source soft-switching active power filter 空间电压矢量调制三相电压源软开关有源电力滤波器

This paper presents a proposal of voltage clamped resonant DC link snubber circuit topology and a next generation voltage source three-phase soft-switching active power filter incorporating auxiliary resonant DC link snubber treated here. In addition, this paper describes the correction processing of quasi resonant commutation time corresponding to dead time in order to improve the instantaneous harmonic compensation current output waveforms obtained from the voltage source three-phase zero voltage soft switching active power filter operating at high frequency switching modulation modes. Its effectiveness due to resonant commutation time correction technique is proved as compared with a hard switching active power filter.

Harmonic load flow study for electric vehicle chargers 电动汽车充电器谐波潮流研究

The electric vehicle (EV) is one of the ways of reducing air pollution in urban areas. Encouraging the charging of EVs at night will improve the loading factor of power systems. EV batteries can also be regarded as an energy reservoir of surplus energy without extra investment. However, harmonic current drawn by EV chargers may have impacts on the equipment of the power system. This paper is a case study of harmonic load flow of currents drawn by a group of EV chargers. The aim is to describe the study approach and to determine the level of impact of the harmonics generated.

Averaged piecewise transform for resonant power converters 谐振功率变换器的平均分段变换

A new macromodel using the proposed averaged piecewise transform is developed. When compared to the earlier published macromodels based on the conformal mapping (averaged Fourier transform), the new model is applicable to nearly all types of resonant power converter operating above resonance with a much more accurate result.

Multilevel inverter with series connection of H-bridge cells 采用h桥电池串联的多电平逆变器

A novel AC/DC/AC converter topology, a three-phase switching mode rectifier (SMR) and a three-phase multilevel inverter with separate DC power supplies, is proposed in this paper. To improve the power quality, three-phase SMR is adopted to supply sinusoidal wave with high power factor and current distortion. The separate DC bus voltages are provided by switching mode DC-DC converters. The full-bridge cells are adopted to provide multilevel line voltage. The control schemes of three-phase multilevel inverter are based on look-up table with sine-triangular PWM method. The voltage unbalance problem between the separate DC bus voltages is improved by using the proposed control scheme. The proposed AC/DC/AC converter is verified by computer simulations.

Full-bridge current mode high-frequency link inverters 全桥电流模式高频链接逆变器

The full-bridge current mode high frequency link inverter based on the flyback topology consists of a HF inverter, a HF transformer and a cycloconverter. Its HF transformer enables energy storage as well as electrical isolation and voltage level adjustment. The inherent voltage surge problem in voltage mode HP link inverters is solved and switch loss of the cycloconverter is reduced in this inverter. Its basic operation principles, the instantaneous voltage control scheme, and brief design procedure are described in the paper. Simulation and experimental results of the experimental prototype verified that it has the following advantages such as compact topology, simple HF transformer structure, simple control scheme, good dynamic response, nonlinear load capacity and low voltage stress of switches.

Compensated class-D amplifier as high quality AC-voltage source 作为高质量交流电压源的补偿d类放大器

Class-D amplifiers have high efficiency and are used when high output power with high efficiency is required. An improved class-D amplifier is presented and analyzed. The ripple of the high power class-D amplifier stage is compensated by a small (low power) high dynamic amplifier, which can be realized either as an analog one or as a second power class-D converter. The main part of the power is handled by a half-bridge with relatively small switching frequency (compared to the output bandwidth) and therefore low switching losses. The resulting output ripple is compensated by using the transformer-coupled supplement power processor. Only small filters are necessary. The concept is well suited for high quality AC-sources and mains simulators.

An improved two-stage control scheme for an induction motor 一种改进的感应电动机两级控制方案

In this paper, an improved two-stage control scheme (previously developed by the authors) is presented. A slip-frequency controller operates together with a current-magnitude controller to yield the desired values of current and frequency during the acceleration/deceleration stage and the steady-state stage. Simulation studies on a 7.5 kW induction motor are performed using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation results indicate that the performance of the two-stage control scheme is comparable with that obtained using field-oriented control. Besides, the improved control scheme is much simpler to implement and the performance is less sensitive to machine parameter changes.
