Communication has a very important role for human life, both in socializing and during the teaching and learning process. This study describes prophetic communication in Islamic boarding schools which aims to understand the process of prophetic communication in inviting non-mukim students to recite the Yellow Book. This study presents two substance problems, namely: 1) How is the implementation of prophetic communication in inviting non-mukim students to recite the Yellow Book at the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School? 2) What are the obstacles in inviting non-mukim students to recite the Yellow Book? The above problems will be answered using qualitative research methods with an interview method approach. The data sources for this research were non-mukim students and ustadz/ustadzah at the Salafiah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School. Furthermore, the data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study uses Kuntowijoyo's theory, the 3 pillars of prophetic communication. The results of this study indicate that prophetic communication is carried out by the Salafiah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School. The implementation of prophetic communication is used in attracting non-mukim students to recite the Yellow Book, namely by communicating well (ma'ruf),

beverage products that we can see with a variety of different stories each year and are always present at major Islamic moments such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. From the story that was created, this became one of the attractions for consumers. This Marjan drink advertisement always presents folklore in Indonesia. So that the products displayed by the media through these stories have the ability to change people's behavior through words, pictures, writing, expressions, behavior that is packaged in such a way as to make it interesting. However, there is a slight difference shown in the advertisement for the Marjan syrup version of the story of Singabarong and Kelana in conveying the message. The contents of the story shown in the advertisement seem to contain elements of violence and crime that cannot be separated from these children, giving rise to social criticism which is considered to be contrary to religious values and how the commodification of religious values occurs in the advertisement. In this thesis, researchers use a qualitative descriptive method. This descriptive method is intended to explore and clarify a phenomenon or social reality, by describing a number of variables with Rolland Barthes' semiotic theory to find the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth in the advertisement for Marjan syrup, the Singabarong and Kelana Story Version. From the results of this study, the advertisement for Marjan syrup, the Singabarong and Kelana Story Version, presents social criticisms when viewed from a da'wah perspective, starting from the visualizations shown such as the use of tattoos, nakedness, high-level chanting, scenes of violence and crime, and visualization of physical forms. which are exaggerated so that this can trigger audiences to justify, encourage bad behavior and contain the commodification of religious values into exchange rates in the market.

Currently the media is shifting to the era of new media (new media), one form of new media is social media. Social media has many platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and the one that currently has the most users is the social media tiktok. At the beginning of its appearance, TikTok was blocked by the Ministry of Communication and Information in 2018, but since the block was opened by the Ministry of Communication and Information with the terms and conditions that apply, TikTok has become the most downloaded social media application. Tiktok is currently also used as a means of creativity and a medium for conveying messages and also preaching. Related to this, the problem of this research is how da'wah messages are conveyed on social media tiktok. As for this study, the researcher chose Ustadz Syamsudin Nur Ahmad's tiktok account, namely @SyamTheCEO as the research object. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a textual analysis approach that aims to explore, interpret, and at the same time deconstruct the ideology, values, or interests that are behind a media text in the da'wah messages contained in the tiktok content of Ustadz Syamsudin Nur Ahmad on his tiktok account based on the logic of textual analysis (denotation, connotation, myth). The results of this study explain the contents of the message of the propagation of aqidah, namely faith in Allah and faith in Qada and Qadar, namely believing in and having faith in Allah and believing in the decrees of Allah SWT's destiny. The contents of the moral da'wah message explained are morals to Allah and morals to humans.

Social media has many platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and the one that currently has the most users is the social media tiktok. At the beginning of its appearance, TikTok was blocked by the Ministry of Communication and Information in 2018, but since the block was opened by the Ministry of Communication and Information with the terms and conditions that apply, TikTok has become the most downloaded social media application. Tiktok is currently also used as a means of creativity and a medium for conveying messages and also preaching. Related to this, the problem of this research is how da'wah messages are conveyed on social media tiktok. As for this study, the researcher chose Ustadz Syamsudin Nur Ahmad's tiktok account, namely @SyamTheCEO as the research object. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a textual analysis approach that aims to explore, interpret, and at the same time deconstruct the ideology, values, or interests that are behind a media text in the da'wah messages contained in the tiktok content of Ustadz Syamsudin Nur Ahmad on his tiktok account based on the logic of textual analysis (denotation, connotation, myth). The results of this study explain the contents of the message of the propagation of aqidah, namely faith in Allah and faith in Qada and Qadar, namely believing in and having faith in Allah and believing in the decrees of Allah SWT's destiny. The contents of the moral da'wah message explained are morals to Allah and morals to humans. The contents of the preaching of worship messages explained are about the laws relating to the pillars of Islam provisions, laws and conditions in carrying out worship in the month of Dzulhijjah and the virtues of worship in the month of Dzulhijjah.","PeriodicalId":254953,"journal":{"name":"Al-Hikmah: Jurnal Dakwah dan Komunikasi","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121113894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Hadrah Kuntulan Banyuwangi Tradition at the Inauguration of the Ikawangi Management in Sorong Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research using a da'wah approach, a cultural sociology approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results of this study can be concluded that Hadrah Kuntulan has now been developed and preserved by native Banyuwangi residents in Sorong City. The inauguration of the Ikawangi Management in Sorong City often uses Hadrah as a procession ritual and as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. The hadrah kuntulan tradition at the inauguration of the Ikawangi board is a hereditary tradition. Hadrah egrets are a form of gratitude to Allah SWT. Because this philosophy is taken from cranes, Javanese people say that egrets, when they get egret food, call their friends to share what they get. In this tradition, the implementation process begins when the musicians line up and play their instruments with a fast and firm rhythm. Then six teenage female dancers appeared, walking in a standing position. The hadrah kuntul tradition can be said to be 'Urf fluent, because within the purpose of hadrah kuntul there is one goal. More precisely, the hadrah kuntul tradition can be said to be 'Urf Sahih because within the purpose of the hadrah kuntul there is a good direction, that is, every movement contains meaning as a form of gratitude.
