In order to reconstruct discontinuous signal with the least error by using finite information, this paper combines the concept of all-phase data processing and the conventional Fourier approximation. By utilizing the coefficients acquired by discrete Fourier transforming the samples of signal and the high harmonic information, all-phase Fourier reconstruction is formed. Theoretical deduction and experimental research show that the waveform reconstructed by all-phase Fourier method has less error than those constructed by conventional continuous Fourier integral approximation and the discrete Fourier approximation.

Implement principle of three-component AMR magnetometer is described. Electronic system of Towed Ocean Bottom Magnetometer (TOBM) based on AMR sensor, IMU, ARM7 microcontroller is designed. Sensor choosing tips are given. The whole hardware scheme includes signal conditioning circuit, high-definition data acquiring circuit, large-amount data storage and the software scheme based on the muC/OS-II real-time operating system and Embedded Filesystem Library(EFSL). Compared with traditional magnetometer, this system has advantages such as small size, low power consumption and good anti-interference ability. And it is an effective method to be applied in ocean bottom geomagnetism measurement.

Most existing methods for unavailability estimation of protected connections in optical networks using shared backup are approximate. This paper presents an analytical approach to the unavailability estimation. The failure state probabilities used by the approach are derived from an analytical way. The computed unavailability values based on the analytical state probabilities are viable.

In this paper, we present a Ka-band power combining amplifier based on a new single double faced tray architecture. Using 4 off-the-shelf GaAs monolithic-microwave integerated-circuit (MMIC) power amplifiers with double antipodal finline power splitting/combining antenna arrays, the power combining circuit can produced up to 83% of combining efficient. Taking one with another, the new combining architecture shows many advantages, such as small size, excellent heat-sinking capacity, high efficiency and so on. The modular architecture also allows easy maintenance, variable output power level, and modular assembly.Results on graceful degradation are also presented, showing superb tolerance to device failure.

Several algorithms based on the global positioning system (GPS) and the dead reckoning (DR) are proposed. For comparison purpose, the performance of the GPS/DR integrated navigation system is analyzed with first extended Kalman filter (FEKF), second extended Kalman filter (SEKF) and the Rauch Tung Striebel-smoother (RTS). In this paper, the state models and measurement models of GPS /DR are set up. Furthermore, the GPS/DR integrated navigation system based on the three algorithms is simulated, and the algorithm performance is compared by the simulation results. The numerical emulation demonstrates that the EKF-RTS gives clearly better estimates than the EKF, and the SEKF is superior to the FEKF.

This paper shows us the coverage performance and Doppler shift of the IGSO constellation with 2, 3 or 4 satellites, and then contrasted with the GEO satellite. The IGSO constellation is better than GEO satellite in average elevation angle and multi-satellite coverage. It is concluded after simulation and analysis that the IGSO constellation with 3 or 4 IGSO satellites can provide higher coverage performance for the Chinese areas and nearby, especially communication elevation in high latitude area, just with a small Doppler shift increase. The IGSO satellite constellation can be used more properly as the regional mobile satellite communication constellation.

This paper introduces the design of a small scale self-organized sensor networks based on fire monitoring. The system consists of sensor node and routing protocol. Intelligent home is one of the major application areas of wireless sensor networks. In this paper, a way to construct ZigBee wireless sensor networks of star is introduced, advancing a new design of wireless intelligent home system based on ZigBee which is suitable for a small network like home, implementing remote monitoring and control by GSM module. The system is composed of the following three main components: (i) home server with GSM module; (ii) intelligent environment detection sensor modules, (iii) intelligent home appliances. We firstly explain concepts and the architecture of our system and then introduce some important hardware design and the key software design in detail. The experiments show a good remote alarming and control ability. Finally we conclude our work and discuss the future directions of our project.

This paper is concerned with the design problem of network-based controller for systems with both the network-induced delays and data packet dropouts. A new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidate is proposed to drive a new stabilization criterion. The sufficient condition on the existence of the controller is obtained in terms of a matrix inequality. And a feasible solution of the proposed matrix inequality is obtained by an iterative algorithm. No parameter needs to be selected in advance.

Multiple input multiple output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is the key technique for generation communications systems. In this paper, several detection algorithms based on MIMO-OFDM systems are briefly introduced, and their performances are evaluated by computer simulation. The simulation results indicate that performance of these algorithms for MIMO-OFDM system is similar to the performance for flat MIMO system. We conclude that the so-called ZF-PIC algorithm is very attractive compared to conventional ZF-VBLAST in performance.
