Keynote Address III Advancements of microwave diagnostics and their industrial applications 主题演讲三:微波诊断的进展及其工业应用

Progress of microwave and millimeter-wave technologies has made possible advanced diagnostics for application to various fields, such as, plasma diagnostics, radio astronomy, alien substance detection, airborne and spaceborne imaging radars called as synthetic aperture radars, living body measurements, and automobile radars for collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control. Transmission, reflection, scattering, and radiation processes of electromagnetic waves are utilized as diagnostic tools which are classified to active and passive diagnostic systems. In the active system, microwave/millimeter-wave reflectometry (radar) is thought to be essential and most prospective, since it has higher perception accuracy and robustness under the conditions of rain, fog, and snow than conventional technique using laser radar devices. In this report we focus on the technology advances in microwave/millimeter-wave region and the application results of diagnostic systems, specifically by use of imaging technique and ultra-wide band radar technique.

An extended composite service choreography language for decentralized execution in MANETs 用于在manet中分散执行的扩展组合服务编排语言

Service composition is considered an efficient way to complete complex task in mobile ad hoc networks. Most previous works focusing on composite service execution are based on the centralized architecture while the decentralized architecture can avoid the large amount of round-trip messages thus significantly reduces the transmitting costs in the network. However, to implement the decentralized service execution architecture, the existing Web service choreography languages are not adaptable. In this paper, we first present the decentralized execution architecture for composite service with the analysis of its advantages. Then, we propose an extension for the service choreography language to support the decentralized service execution architecture. The prototype system is presented to show the practicability of our approach.

Agilent HBT model extraction and circuit verification for InGaP/GaAs HBT Agilent InGaP/GaAs HBT模型提取及电路验证

Agilent HBT model parameters are extracted from the multi-finger InGaP/ GaAs HBT fabricated in 2 um process. Comparison has been made between measured and simulated data for verification purpose. With frequency range from DC to 20.05 GHz, this model is suitable for simulating InGaP/ GaAs HBT AC small -signal characterization. Using this model to verify a broadband amplifier, the result shows good agreement between simulated and measured data.

A system design for UHF RFID reader 超高频RFID读写器系统设计

This paper introduces a system design for RFID reader. The RFID reader is compatible with EPC Class-1, Generation-2 Standard, operating at the 915 MHz band. The UHF RFID reader includes RF analog front end (AFE), the base band design and clock control. The RFID RF AFE contains transmitting circuit, receiving circuit, frequency synthesize, circulator, etc. The base band contains the FPGA chip, 100 M hardware resources of network supporting, DDR SDRAM, FLASH, A/D, D/A, etc. The FPGA chip inseted NiosII soft core. This architecture is an advantage for implementing various kinds of RFID standards by changing the soft of NiosII core in FPGA, and efficiently reduces the design and development time and cost.

A new compact Ka-band spatial power combining architecture 一种新型紧凑型ka波段空间功率组合架构

High power amplifier is the key element of microwave transmitters. Solid-state spatial power combiner is issued to replace traveling wave tube amplifier (TWTA) in space communication systems. To comply with space requirements a new compact Ka-band spatial power combining architecture is proposed using a double-faced tray. To match the 2 times 2 combining structure, double antipodal finline is designed to achieve power distributing/combining and transition between waveguide and microstrip. A 29~30 GHz spatial power combiner is designed following this architecture. With it the compact architecture proves effective and prospective.

Watermarking T-Spline surfaces 对t样条曲面进行水印

This paper proposes two data embedding algorithms for T-spline surfaces, one is suitable for steganography, and the other for robust shape-preserving watermarking. For steganography, we embed data into the points on T-spline surfaces by using constrained optimization method. For robust shape-preserving watermarking, we use the local knot insertion of T-spline surfaces. The experiment results and their analyses are also presented.

Text-independent speaker identification based on feature transformation to phoneme-independent subspace 基于特征转换到音素无关子空间的文本无关说话人识别

In text-independent (TI) speaker identification, the variation of phonetic information strongly affects the performance of speaker identification. If this phonetic information in his/her speech data can be suppressed, a robust TI speaker identification system will be realized by using speech features having less phonetic information. In this paper, we propose a TI speaker identification method that suppresses the phonetic information by a subspace method, under the assumption that a subspace with large variance in the speech feature space is a ldquophoneme-dependent subspacerdquo and a complementary subspace of it is a ldquophoneme-independent subspacerdquo. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is utilized to construct these subspaces. We carried out GMM-based speaker identification experiments using both a new feature vector of the proposed method and the conventional MFCC. As a result, the proposed method reduced the identification error rate by 21% compared with the conventional MFCC.

Geometric attack resistant face watermarking using Zernike moments 基于泽尼克矩的抗几何攻击人脸水印

A robust face watermarking scheme is proposed to provide a solution to copyright protection of semantic content. To address the issue of less robustness to geometric attacks in watermarking scheme, Zernike moments based invariant features are extracted and some selected Zernike moments are proposed to carry a multi-bit watermark. Watermark signal is embedded into face region in the intensity spatial domain after the reconstruction process using the proposed geometric invariants. Experimental results prove the effectiveness of the new scheme, including excellent imperceptibility and robustness to image compression, median filtering and common geometric attacks such as rotation, scaling and translation.

In the wake of the prominent development of science and technology and the elevated requirement of ship production, shipbuilding mode is becoming increasingly developed and consummated with an inevitable trend to base on mass customization. Ship outfitting pallet control is one of the key technologies in modern shipbuilding mode, and to make it informationized is very important. For this reason, a way to informationize the ship outfitting pallet control is researched and discussed. By introducing the barcode technology, the ship outfitting pallet control system based on barcode is constructed, and its simple information model is put forward. These studies are useful to improve the production efficiency and resource management level during ship outfitting, and meaningful to the whole shipbuilding enterprise informationization.

Research of an improved adaptive filtering algorithm in digital communication 数字通信中改进的自适应滤波算法研究

Adaptive signal processing, an important branch in the Signal and Information Processing field, is widely used in the signal processing in digital communication owning to its superiority. While this paper point out the defect of this algorithm on the basis of the adaptive local noise elimination filtering algorithm introduced by American Professor Rafael C. Gonzalez and put forward a new improved adaptive filtering algorithm which has reduced the mean square error by one-fourth, and raised various signal-to-noise ratios SNR, SNRm and PSNR by one-tenth. So it is more effective in eliminating local noise and enjoys higher promotion value.
自适应信号处理作为信号与信息处理领域的一个重要分支,以其自身的优越性在数字通信信号处理中得到了广泛的应用。本文在美国教授Rafael C. Gonzalez介绍的自适应局部消噪滤波算法的基础上,指出了该算法的缺陷,提出了一种新的改进自适应滤波算法,该算法将均方误差降低了1 / 4,将各种信噪比SNR、SNRm和PSNR提高了1 / 10。因此更有效地消除了局部噪声,具有更高的推广价值。
