Comparison of linear and nonlinear H∞ control for a permanent magnet synchronous motor 永磁同步电机线性与非线性H∞控制的比较

The objective of this paper is to design linear and nonlinear Hinfin controllers, and compare them. For linear systems, the Hinfin controller is obtained either by solving Riccati equations using iterative procedures or by linear matrix inequalities. However, for nonlinear systems, the task is more complicated. In the particular case of nonlinear affine-input systems, the solution of the Hinfin control problem is derived from the Hamilton-Jacobi Equations (HJE). The exact explicit solutions of this type of equations are, in general, unknown or hard to compute. Approximate solutions are obtained from an iterative procedure. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear matrix inequalities approach to design a nonlinear Hinfin controller. Simulations of the closed-loop synchronous motors responses for both nonlinear and linear Hinfin controllers will be performed and compared. It is found that the nonlinear Hinfin controller has better performances and robustness than the linear controller.

Performance analysis of FBG sensors system embedded in an optical communications system 光纤光栅传感器系统在光通信系统中的性能分析

A performance analysis of the effect of embedding an FBG sensor in an optical communications system is presented. The simulations considered focus on the effects on both the sensing and the communications systems. The effect of power levels of the interrogating optical source on the performance of the two systems is also investigated under different excitation levels. The results obtained show a good tolerance in terms of quality of transmission for the two systems.

Potential of carbon nanotubes for sensor applications 碳纳米管在传感器中的应用潜力

Due to their unique electrical and mechanical properties carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are the most studied material in the nanotechnology. These material properties involve interesting advantages for sensors, such as a short reaction time, a higher sensitivity and novel sensing principles. In this paper we evaluate the potential of CNTs for different sensor applications. Although nanotechnology is still under development, several sensors can be already realized showing decisive advantages compared with nowadays sensors for several measured quantities.Three different categories of CNT based sensors are reported: analytical sensors which are based on the interaction of CNTs with ions and molecules, mechanical sensors which are based on the piezoresistivity of CNTs and optical sensors which profit from the high absorption rates of CNT and their unique optical properties.

Thermal modeling and simulation of distribution transformers 配电变压器热建模与仿真

This paper presents a thermal model to predict the top oil and hot spot temperatures of a transformer. The model is applied to 2500 kVA ONAN (without external cooling) distribution transformer equipped with thermo-couples and tested at varying load. A non linear least square algorithm is used based on measurements to determine the model parameters. The model showed good results.

The Agile All-Photonic Network: Architectures, algorithms, and protocols 敏捷全光子网络:架构、算法和协议

The agile all-photonic network (AAPN) is a network that uses time division multiplexing (TDM) to better utilize the bandwidth of WDM systems. AAPN uses agile all-photonic switches as advances in the photonic switching technology made the design of all-photonic devices with switching latency in the sub-microseconds feasible. It proposes a simplified overlaid star network architecture that is deployable as a MAN or WAN network. This overlaid architecture, as opposed to general mesh architecture, scales network capacity to multiples of Peta bits per second, simplifies routing, increases reliability, eliminates wavelength conversion and the need for accurate traffic engineering. In this overview, we introduce the network structure, control plane protocols and algorithms that are designed to support the operation of the Agile All-Photonic Network.

Enhancement of the segmentation process of multi-component images using fusion with Genetic Algorithm 融合遗传算法增强多分量图像分割过程

Segmentation is a fundamental stage in image processing since it conditions the quality of interpretation. Fusion in remote sensing has one goal which is to combine different images obtained by different sensors in one image or in different images in order to improve the content and the resolution of these images. In this research, a new fusion method is implemented to improve the segmentation process. This method combines the results of different image segmentation methods or combines the results of the same image segmentation method. The new fusion method consists of a genetic algorithm (ga) to combine each two segmented images based on the stability factor which is measured by the functional model (FM). Experiments conducted on SPOT V, and Landsat 7 ETM+ images proved that this method can provide better results compared to the results obtained from using two different segmentation methods. Two methods ate used in these experiments, self-organizing map and hybrid dynamic genetic algorithm cooperation method (SOM-HGA) and the Iterative Self-Organizing Data (ISODATA) method.

Time delay feedback control and chaotification of continuous dynamical systems 连续动力系统的时滞反馈控制与混沌化

Time-delayed feedback has been introduced as a powerful tool for control of unstable periodic orbits or control of unstable steady states. This paper addresses control and chaotification of continuous chaotic systems using time feedback control. Regarding the delay and the gain as parameters, we investigate the effect of choice those two parameters on the dynamics of the system. We first, consider the effect of gain and delay, then give several numerical simulations, which indicate that for certain values of time delay, a stable periodic orbit is converted into chaotic behaviour.

Compensation of forces exerted over a short period applied to the ROBIAN biped robot trunk: Simulations and experiments 应用于ROBIAN双足机器人躯干的短时间力补偿:仿真与实验

This paper deals with an analytical approach based on the inverse dynamic model to maintain the stability of the ROBIAN robot in the presence of external disturbances. The stabilization is carried out with a trunk having 4 degrees of freedom: three translations and one rotation. For a vertical posture of the robot, the trunk bodies of ROBIAN are used to compensate the external three-dimensional efforts applied to the robot. The first part of this study presents the simulation results of the dynamic behavior of the robot in the presence of external disturbances. During the simulation, this study enabled us to determine on-line the required movements and accelerations of the trunk parts necessary to maintain the stability of the robot. The proposed method was confirmed in a second phase of study through experiments for external force applied to ROBIAN for a short period.

Marine propeller dynamics modeling using a frequency domain approach 基于频域方法的船舶螺旋桨动力学建模

This paper reports the modeling, identification and experimental validation of a marine propeller dynamic model. In fact, the existing models well reproduce propeller thrust and torque, but only at low dynamics. In practice, the rate of change of propeller rotational speed is then limited by the thruster controllers to avoid unmodeled phenomena. Otherwise important tracking error can occur during transient responses. In both cases, the dynamic performances of the whole controlled system are limited. To avoid this difficulty, we propose a dynamic model for marine propeller based on a frequency domain approach using a Wiener-Hammerstein model. The identification is carried out using a harmonic study of the asymptotic response of the model to a sinusoidally varying input. Simulations and experiments are performed to evaluate the performances of the proposed model.

Investigation of the underground temperature using neural network 利用神经网络研究地下温度

In this paper, we use the concept of neural networks to evaluate the underground temperature of any type and depth of earth. Two models have been developed for this purpose namely mathematical and intelligent. The mathematical model is developed taking into account properties of the soil and meteorological conditions, whereas the intelligent model is a development of data driven neural network model. Fourth variables influencing the underground temperature which were taken into account are ambient temperature, underground depth, soil thermal diffusivity and days of year. The model was validated against experimental data sets.
