This article examines various applications and emerging technologies in the field of intelligent transportation thatseeks to improve the efficiency, safety and sustainability of transportation systems through the use of technologythe information and the comunication. The review explores key aspects in which government policiescan influence the planning of a city's growth, the concept of smart cities is addressed,intelligent transportation and mobility and a review of applications that provide solutions in this context is carried out, the advantages and challenges of each of these are analyzed, as well as their potential impact on society and the environment. Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of collecting and analyzing large volumes of data in real time to improve decision-making in intelligent transportation, addressing issues related to data privacy and security in this context, thus, the transformative role of applications and technologies in transportation, and their proper implementation can contribute to the construction of smarter, more connected and sustainable cities in the future.

Being able to rely on statistical analysis methods that allow describing and predicting results in the educational field under technological support has become a necessity at all levels, from primary to higher education, since it allows identifying shortcomings and opportunities in a local or general area, such as dropout, repetition, and student advancement or failure. That is why it is intended in this article to observe and study the multiple variables that could be related to the performance of students in educational centers, considering the quality of the neighborhood in the first instance. Estimating a spatial model of house prices to characterize which micro-neighborhoods the homes of the students are exposed to. The quality of the neighborhood will be used as an important explanatory variable to analyze the probability of influence on the performance of the students of the educational centers, in which it is intended to use geographic location data to apply spatial econometrics models. The objective is that this methodology can be used in different academic environments, for example, in higher education classrooms where more variability is perceived in the distribution of student residences.

Teleworking has been a novel option for companies, providing advantages in productivity and low costs; however, it has been a chaos to the mental health of staff living situations of distress and depression due to work overload, time management, which has caused affections in their psychological and social area as an individual, being a priority issue of public health. This article aims to analyze the effects of teleworking on the mental health of workers in a consulting company in the hydrocarbon sector in Colombia, with a sample of 30 administrative workers in the management and execution of contracts of Environmental Services and HSE Services in the National territory. Taking a punctual record of the impact of stress and mental health management in their work, a non-experimental type of research of observational transversal cut with descriptive scope was established, taking two types of instruments for its validation, a survey created by the authors that showed medium experience in the use of ICT’s and medium stress causal in the management of information storage tools, and the modified Multidimensional Copyng Inventory (MCI) Scale, obtaining a medium and representative level of use in strategies of Waiting (WT), Religion (REL) and Search for Professional Support (PS), requiring the strengthening of other types of strategies. The research shows the need to potentiate methods aimed at leveling autonomy and productivity with their capacities and skills in formation, harmonizing the space for their family time.

The research is carried out in order to give a diagnosis for the use and rehabilitation and maintenance strategies of the road network in the city of Bogotá, providing a sustainable environmental initiative through recycled materials resulting from the asphalt layer removed from the demolition for the maintenance of the roads and from which MBR (recycled bituminous material) is obtained, which through a production process is transformed and mixed with other products, becoming an environmentally friendly alternative and the final product is used for rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads within the city.

The quality of working life with respect to work environments is increasingly demanding. Therefore, the need arises to study the conditions for the execution of their daily tasks. The objective of this research is to establish the biomechanical risk factors in the perception of quality of life of the employees of the general services area of ??a cleaning and maintenance company.The company under study is a cleaning and maintenance company based in Bogotá, which has more than 15 years of experience, a sample of 60 women aged 25 to 57 years was chosen. This is a non-experimental cross-sectional investigation with a mixed approach. It was evidenced that the interpretation of the risk in all cases is not acceptable and that they require specific control, a high level of satisfaction of the workers is observed regardless of the presence of ailments. People who work in general services present musculoskeletal disorders, due to the multiple discomforts that they may present during the activities they carry out, hence the importance of implementing preventionstrategies.

The confrontation between the modern and the traditional is an important side in education research. This article presents the results of an investigation carried out in the classroom, where the effectiveness of learning is compared from the use of the cell phone camera compared to the traditional way of copying in the notebook, within a mutually exclusive methodology to make observations with objectivity. The results show that although technological advances facilitate some activities of the human being in a learning context that does not necessarily means it enables the learning of disciplinary knowledge. On the other hand, the traditional ways of consigning the knowledge imparted by the teacher in his keynote presentation, that is, copying by hand and letter, allow the student a direct contact with the knowledge mentioned and its impact on learning is more effective. It is concluded that in a context of technological learning, the engineer teacher must be clear when to use certain modern technological resources and when to open the spaces for the student to register, from his own perspective, the new knowledge acquired.

This article makes an exhaustive characterization of two leading platforms in the field of Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Automation Anywhere and UiPath. The main objective is to provide a detailed comparison of both solutions to facilitate the appropriate choice according to the needs of RPA implementation in an organization. The article begins by explaining the fundamental concepts of RPA and its importance in optimizing business processes. This article presents a methodology to measure the bandwidth behaviour by making predictions of the network traffic that connects to the cloud in small and medium enterprises in rural areas with difficult access in Colombia, in order to optimize network resources over time and ensure the quality of service in web applications. A comparative study of three neural network algorithms that model a multilayer neural network is performed, selecting the one that has a minimum error that approaches zero; the selected algorithm is trained from a data source to predict the network traffic that connects to the cloud.It is necessary to analyse network behaviour to ensure the quality of web applications in the cloud that transmit information such as data, images, sound, video, etc., some in real time, and that generate large volumes of traffic. Understanding the traffic flowing through the network enables network capacity planning when managing limited resources, such as in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas. As a product of the research analysis, a free software prototype will be developed to perform the measurements and predictions in rural areas. The results of the implementation show that the proposed approach is superior to other forecasting methods in terms of accuracy and predictability.

El Asadero en la Brasa Q.P is a restaurant located in the city of Bogotá, Quinta Paredes neighborhood, which has been in the market for more than 15 years, noted for the unique flavor in all its dishes. They have standardized and clear processes for all team members, which is causing certain delays in the dispatch of orders both within the establishment and in the delivery service, as well as reprocessing that generates loss of time and low level of customer satisfaction. Considering this problem, the decision is made together with the general manager to carry out a standardization of the processes carried out in all areas of the barbecue in order to detect what most affects the increase in time in the dispatch of orders and with this improve the quality of service offered. It began with the study of the processes in the different areas of the restaurant, conducting interviews with all the employees of the barbecue to break down the tasks that are carried out when carrying out the work, after this the time spent was taken. in each activity to find out where the greatest cause of delays in the barbecue processes may be, applying the different tools such as process diagrams, cause-and-effect diagram, flowchart and Porter’s forces. In this way, the templates and formats that are most frequently used in the restaurant were made, as well as the processes for each area were adjusted, recommending the improvements that can be carried out through the FlexSim software in which, performing the simulation, it was possible to demonstrate a 2-minute reduction in customer service both at tables and for take-out, helping to improve one of the most repetitive problems in the grill due to the lack of organization in the tasks. Likewise, the inventory technologies that can be applied to have a better control in the processes are exposed thanks to the application of new technologies such as Vendly.

Considering this problem, the decision is made together with the general manager to carry out a standardization of the processes carried out in all areas of the barbecue in order to detect what most affects the increase in time in the dispatch of orders and with this improve the quality of service offered. It began with the study of the processes in the different areas of the restaurant, conducting interviews with all the employees of the barbecue to break down the tasks that are carried out when carrying out the work, after this the time spent was taken. in each activity to find out where the greatest cause of delays in the barbecue processes may be, applying the different tools such as process diagrams, cause-and-effect diagram, flowchart and Porter’s forces. In this way, the templates and formats that are most frequently used in the restaurant were made, as well as the processes for each area were adjusted, recommending the improvements that can be carried out through the FlexSim software in which, performing the simulation, it was possible to demonstrate a 2-minute reduction in customer service both at tables and for take-out, helping to improve one of the most repetitive problems in the grill due to the lack of organization in the tasks. In the mathematical discipline of graph theory, a vertex cover, simply a graph cover, is a set of vertices such that each edge of the graph is incident to at least one vertex of the set. The problem of finding the smallest vertex coverage in a graph is called the vertex coverage problem. In computational complexity theory, it has been shown that this is an NP-complete problem. An NPcomplete problem is that it is not known if it has a Polynomial solution. I have found an algorithm that proves that it is Polynomial.
