-Fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) components can have visible or non-visible damages because of an impact, crush, or fatigue during the regular operation hours. These components or structures have to be continuously monitored in order to ensure an early detection of deterioration. This paper uses the vibration decay rate experimentally as a method to detect damages in a FRP component. Measurement of reverberation time RT60 is executed in three different damage conditions of a specimen made of fibre reinforced polymer. The conditions of the specimen vary based on the damage existence in it. The major concern is on predicting damages presence by the measured data. The resulted data showed a clear difference among the three conditions proving the damages existence. Keywords--Fibre Reinforced Polymer, Composite Materials, Damage Detection, Decay Rate, Reverberation Time.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a process commonly practiced among engineering, architecture, and construction professionals in the operation of construction projects. While previous researches revealed that disputes often arise due to difficulties in implementing BIM, mainly due to critical BIM readiness issues, there is negligible literature or research readily available that discusses constructs that influence disputes in BIM construction projects. The scarce number of publications in this area of study has encouraged many researchers to explore more on handling and preventing disputes during the initial phase of building works. Accordingly, this study focuses on specific rules and regulations that typically influence disputes in BIM construction projects between 2011 and 2020 using Atlas.ti 8. To achieve this purpose, a number of research studies and papers were then reviewed by undertaking a thematic literature review. The researchers filtered the information obtained examining SCOPUS, Web of Science, and Mendeley databases, in which 92 scholarly journal articles were identified. The final process involving inclusion and exclusion criteria were then carried out and finally selected 20 articles for study review. The researchers have identified five initial codes that are commonly used in characterizing the constructs that resulted to disputes in construction projects involving the BIM process. These constructs were then grouped into four clusters: legal, organization, process, and technology. As a result, the pattern obtained from the thematic review highlighted several influencing factors that led to disputes. This finding represents a significant contribution to the development of new guidelines to reduce disputes in construction works.

Development at times brings to fore conflict between tradition and the need to modernise so as to keep abreast with current trends and approaches. In some rapid developing economies such as Malaysia, the populace is still generally conservative in terms of how they portray themselves particularly in style and fashion. Malaysians, particularly the older generation, are inclined to be selective and prefer fashion and attire forms that are modest and not exposing body shape or skin mainly due to religious and cultural norms and sensitivities. This traditional perspective is prevalent in Asian communities where preserving „face‟ is paramount – so much so that members of that community would go to great lengths to avoid actions and behaviour that could be construed as „detrimental‟ to dignity and self-worth. The fashion and attire choice of the younger generation often become issues of conflict between the young and their elders with the fashion sense of youths perceived to be dictated more by the fulfilment of social-media-induced wants rather than actual needs. This paper is an attempt to examine the fashion and attire choices of young Kadazan-Dusun milennials in Sabah, Malaysia. The study involved four Focus Group discussions with six participants in each group consisting undergraduates of a local university in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The findings showed that while the youths on the wholewere inclined towards following current fashion trends, they would only indulge in this fashion preference at the right place and time to blend in with their circle of „cool modern global citizens‟. Some participants however, especially from the rural areas, demonstrated displeasure towards extreme and „inappropriate‟ fashion and attire. The outcome of this study also indicated Instagram as contributory to the fashion and attire choices of Kadazan-Dusun youths.

--- The paper aimed at determining the demographic features of customers in shopping mall that are prone to be attracted by facilities in the malls. The five shopping malls in Ibadan, Nigeria were studied. The research which is a cross-sectional survey adopted the intercept approach to customers resulting to the distribution of 143, 126, 127, 145 and 126 shoppers of the respective malls. A response rate of over 80% was attained and data collected was analysed using the weighted mean and confirmation test on the significance of result was achieved using the Chi-Square test of significance at 95% confidence level. Out of the four demographic features studied, it was discovered that only gender had significant result as females were more likely to be attracted to facilities provided in shopping malls than their male counterpart. The researchers hereby advocated gender sensitivity in erecting facilities in malls as that might enhance patronage.

--- Numerous studies on tourist travel preferences have been done in a different context which leads to tourist behavioural intention in an organisation. However, limited attention has been paid on the study of domestic tourist preferences and travel intention to visit specifically on visiting Genting Highland in Malaysia when the redevelopment work was in the progression. Therefore, by utilizing the quantitative strategy, the objective of this research is to determine the reliability and validity of the instrument utilized in estimating the determinant of tourist inclinations and tendencies, which may influence tourists’ potential plans to travel to the Genting Highlands amusement park. The data comprised a 100-sample, which were analysed by utilizing version 25, statistical software IBM SPSS. Prior to that, expert assessment was made to form the basis of the examination of reliability, data normality, and content and face validity. The outcome demonstrates that the instruments used for measuring in this research are reliable, and the rational normality of the data is proven. In sum, the results of this research have given support as a whole to the suggested measuring instrument for further study.
