A framework for brokered Service Level agreements in SOA environments 用于SOA环境中代理服务水平协议的框架

With the proliferation of Internet-enabled devices and the growing adoption of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), users increasingly require services that can meet their functional and nonfunctional requirements. In this paper, we propose a novel framework for Web service provisioning, which relies on brokered Service Level agreements (SLAs), between clients and service providers, and a publish/subscribe model to handle notifications on significant changes in quality-of-service (QoS) offerings. One of the advantages of the approach is that service providers can provide several service types and different levels of service. Moreover, the publish/subscribe model allows Service Brokers to be aware of significant changes in the QoS offerings of service providers; and consequently, be able to monitor the execution of SLAs.

Because innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship are increasingly important in the current job market, particularly in today's rapidly changing society with the demand for more flexible workers, it is important to provide adult educators with the necessary tools to develop these aspects amongst the most vulnerable groups in society as is the case of early-school leavers. This paper presents a European level approach to this problematic and shows what results has been achieved so far.

Web-based research collaboration service: Crowd lifelog research case study 基于网络的研究协作服务:人群生活日志研究案例研究

Lifelog research often needs collaboration from many disciplines. Also most related works need very advanced expertise while chances to find all skilled members at one place are very rare. It also involves privacy and/or copyrighted materials where the mutual consent of the use of data is very important. Thus a secure Web-based service is a great way for researchers for technical collaboration to solve difficult issues. This paper details many aspects of lifelog research topics and technical challenges that the author has experienced over one year case study. It also describes the economical and efficient way to build fast web services without much complication. Steps and developed technologies introduced here are generally applicable for other diverse research communities that may help readers build up similar services for research collaboration.

Semantic search for context-aware learning 上下文感知学习的语义搜索

The thirst for information in complex working environments calls for intelligent systems which optimally assist the user, i.e. which offer the user the most relevant information. The aim is to decrease the time the user has to spend on his hunt for information and to offer him the best fitting help and learning material in an on-demand manner. We present an approach for the semantic retrieval of help and learning material which takes the working context into account. Based on the semantic structure of an ontology with attached binding weights a context-aware ranking of help and learning material is generated. The semantic search results fit better to the learner's actual situation than e.g. a pure full-text search, because the underlying ontology-based retrieval is aware of relations in the search domain and uses this knowledge in a way aligned to the learning process as well as to the specific domain. The results of the semantic search are presented for an application scenario in radar-based image interpretation. The advantages of the semantic approach are shown by a comparison with a state-of-the-art full-text search engine.

Web service schema matching based on invocation instance duplicates 基于调用实例重复的Web服务模式匹配

Web service schema matching is the preliminary phase of service composition and service Mashup. With the entry of large numbers of services on the Internet, it will be difficult to find and suggest the most relevant service candidates for new composition and Mashup. Furthermore, the composition and Mashup candidates must be confirmed by manual work which is very inefficient and even inefficacious. In this work, we present an approach for web service schema matching based on service invocation instance duplicates. This approach predicts the schema relationship between web service parameters based on duplicates among invocation data sets and is very different from the syntactical-based and semantic-based matching approaches. It can be used for predicting and verifying service composition and Mashup candidates.

“This research paper presents a framework, which simplifies the task of developing, deploying, and managing complex, integrated, and standards-compliant OLTP framework solution - an enterprise resource planning software for putting universities online. The framework enables development, configuration, integration, and management of solution at a higher semantic level. It also provides commonly used services such as access to university resources, access control and authentication through biometrics, public key infrastructure, and support for digital signatures. The ability to manage solution at a higher semantic level enables administrators who are not proficient in programming to customize solution in order to address specific needs of the different stakeholders. This includes the ability to customize interfaces for multiple local languages used in university transactions and to customize workflows to conform to the organizational structure and policies to manage access to and retention of university records.

New trends in software development have proposed different interaction mechanisms for software applications. For instance, the Software as a Service (SaaS) model has defined a new delivery and access method, and installation and update processes in the user's computer are not required, software is hosted in a server and can be used over Internet instead. Middleware platforms are required in SaaS frameworks in order to support software services. Currently, web applications are taking full advantages of SaaS benefits, because they can be delivered over Internet and developed according to a service model. However, web applications are still under a maturity process and a low degree of efficiency and reusability are achieved. This paper proposes a web service-based framework according to component software engineering (CBSE), with the aim of developing efficient and reusable web applications. Moreover, web services are the middleware technology that provides full accessibility for this type of components.

Queries reformulation for the discovery of semantic web services 用于发现语义web服务的查询重构

The semantic web services have been introduced to better describe web services and improve their functioning. Several approaches have been proposed in this field. The most used is OWL-S, where the discovery is to match the user query and the service profile of OWL-S service. In this paper we present a query reformulation approach for searching semantic web services. We propose three methods to enrich the query by exploiting the semantic relationships given by synonymy and derivatives of the WordNet ontology. We select the semantic web services through a matching between the query and ontologies of semantic web services OWL-S using semantic and syntactic similarity measures.

A survey on OpenID identifiers 关于OpenID标识符的调查

This article surveys the data attached to OpenID identifiers, as a means to learn the formats and semantics of information currently shared by OpenID users. Identifiers have been harvested from websites that support OpenID authentication and publicly display them. They were subsequently analyzed and the results of the analysis show that half of the identifiers belong to custom domains while a quarter rely on their own OpenID provider. Attached information is related to blogging activities principally, in a HTML embedded format. Most common semantics include tagging, personal details and social relationships.

Intrusion detection and self healing model for network security 网络安全的入侵检测和自修复模型

This paper describes a novel approach for the network security based on the combination of biological intrusion detection and self-healing concepts. The presented approach integrates an artificial immune intrusion detection system for network security inspired by idiotypic networks. The IDS detects and analyzes the malicious activities in the network and their effects to trigger the self-healing system. It means the detection of the damage caused by malicious activities is used to start the self - healing mechanism. It is an automated system and enhances the fault repair and system recovery.
