A comparision of open-loop and closed-loop DBS to control the thalamic relay neuron's Parkinsonian state 开环与闭环DBS控制丘脑中继神经元帕金森状态的比较

Currently, open-loop deep brain stimulation is an effective treatment for Parkinson's disease, the stimulus waveforms are static high-frequency pulse sequences. In this paper the input-output feedback linearization method is introduced in the closed-loop control of Parkinsonian state based on a computational model. Closed-loop control effects are compared with the classical open-loop control. Simulation results prove that feedback linearization method performs better than the open-loop controller for the restoration of thalamic relay function under Parkinsonian state.

Designing considerations for airborne star tracker during daytime 机载星跟踪器在日间的设计考虑

This paper aims at determining several designing considerations for star tracker which uses on aircraft during daytime at altitudes around 10 km. From analysis of operational environment, the sky background radiation caused by the sun is the main factor which affects the performance of star tracker. In order to research insight, star magnitude model is established to calculate stellar radiation and MODTRAN software is used to obtain the sky background radiation. The contrast of detection, the ratio of stellar radiation and sky background radiation, is defined as the criterion to determine these considerations. Finally, H-band waveband, from 1.5μm to 1.7μm, is chose as the optimal detection waveband due to better comprehensive performance in detection. InGaAs detector is selected for the airborne star tracker after trade-off studies included a comparison in terms of detector format, cost and cooling requirements. Simultaneous measurements with three field of view are determined as the preferred design prototype because of higher detectable limiting magnitude and star detection probability.

Multi-level image segmentation based on an improved differential evolution with adaptive parameter controlling strategy 基于改进差分进化和自适应参数控制策略的多级图像分割

Multi-level threshold segmentation techniques are one of the most important parts in image processing. They are simple, robust, and accurate. However, some of them have long computation time and it grows exponentially with the number of thresholds increase. This paper proposed an improved differential evolution with novel mutation strategy and adaptive parameter controlling method (MApcDE) so as to avoid time-consuming and overcome the relation between computation time and dimensions. OTSU method, which maximizes the variance between foreground and background in an image, is a popular threshold image segmentation technique, and is used in this paper to test the performance of the proposed method. Experimental results show that our proposed MApcDE algorithm can get more effective and preferable results when compared with some other population-based threshold methods. The computation time is shorten at the same time.

Study on comfort environment oriented building energy consumption intelligent management system 面向舒适环境的建筑能耗智能管理系统研究

The IOT-based building energy consumption management system, as an important technology management means for energy efficiency, is prevalent and applied widely. Nevertheless, the requirement of occupant comfort environment is rarely considered in most previous studies. In this paper, based on intelligent sensing technology, we put forward a novel system framework for building energy consumption management systems, which focuses on providing the comfort environment for occupants in energy saving. Firstly, the energy efficiency sensing and control unit is developed, which consists of several sensors for environment comfort evaluation and data fusion. In addition, the feedback control is realized in this unit through multi-sensor integration and GPIO ports. The concept of collaborating with people, machine and substance is reflected in the working process of this unit. Secondly, the relation between environment factors and energy consumption control is clearly described with the event-based ECA-rules. The real-time response to environment sensing and energy consumption data streams is achieved by utilizing complex event processing. Finally, the application scenarios show the benefits of the proposed system architecture.

Pressing Machine is the heart of the brick production lines where a hydraulically operated pressing machine is considered to be a complex system; this work describes the design and experimental implementation of a control system for a hydraulic pressing machine. The overall operation and control is based on a programmable logic unit and a sensory system. The functionality of the control system is analyzed through simulation Packages, and validated with physical experiments.

This paper is concerned with the problem of average consensus in directed networks of agents with both switching topology and time-delay. A proportional and derivative like (PD-like) consensus algorithm is developed to address such a problem, which improves the convergence rate. Also, a constant delay and a time-varying delay are taken into account respectively. The stability analysis is performed based on a proposed Lyapunov-Krasovskii function. Then, some new consensus conditions are given to guarantee the average consensus under arbitrary switching topologies. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the developed results.

Distributed connectivity control of car-like robot networks 类车机器人网络的分布式连接控制

This paper investigates communication connectivity control of mobile car-like robot networks. Employing algebraic graph theory, LaSalle invariant and negative gradient algorithm, the distributed control laws are proposed to maintain the communication connectivity of mobile car-like robots. With the control laws, robots can achieve the maximum connectivity topology. The simulation illustrates the effectiveness of the presented control laws.

The novel secure communication scheme based on the shape synchronization of three dimension chaos systems 基于三维混沌系统形状同步的安全通信方案

A three-dimension chaos shape synchronized system is proposed and used in the secure communication. The proposed system consists of a Chaotic Secure Transmitter (CST) and a Chaotic Secure Receiver (CSR). Because of the driving signals are the shape features of drive systems, the attackers are highly unlikely to obtain reconstructing the chaotic dynamics of the drive systems. The simulation results show that encryption effect is well, and the recovered signal is less different from the original signal. The system has the high safety performance and wide application.

How effectively can the initial opinions influence the opinion formation in social networks with stubborn agents? 在具有顽固主体的社会网络中,初始意见对意见形成的影响有多大?

In this paper, we investigate an opinion formation model with stubborn agents, where each agent updates her opinion according to opinions of her neighbors as well as her own initial opinion with some degree of stubbornness. Generally, the presence of stubborn agents will preclude consensus and result in a steady distribution with different opinions. Here, we investigate how effectively the initial opinions can influence the opinion formation. And, we find that any steady distribution can be reached if the stubbornness of each agent is nonzero; otherwise, only the steady distribution located in a special space can be reached. Furthermore, we develop a simple criterion to judge whether or not a steady distribution is reachable. For a reachable steady distribution, a method for the choice of the corresponding initial opinions is presented; while for an unreachable distribution, an algorithm is designed to find a reachable distribution which is closest to the desired one.

Generally, the presence of stubborn agents will preclude consensus and result in a steady distribution with different opinions. Here, we investigate how effectively the initial opinions can influence the opinion formation. And, we find that any steady distribution can be reached if the stubbornness of each agent is nonzero; otherwise, only the steady distribution located in a special space can be reached. Furthermore, we develop a simple criterion to judge whether or not a steady distribution is reachable. Research of volt-ampere characteristics testing method for photovoltaic cells 光伏电池伏安特性测试方法研究

Volt-ampere characteristic(I-V) curve is one of the most important characteristics of solar arrays, and is an indispensable reference for field performance testing and designing of concentrating photovoltaic power generation system. However, customers can only get the curve under standard condition from manufacturers, but the actual operating environment varies widely. There are two difficulties to get a continuous and accurate I-V curve in any conditions, one is a variable resistor ranges from 0 to infinity; the other is wide range of measured objects which makes it inaccurate when measuring small signals. This paper uses capacitor charging method to simulate a variable resistor, and presents a method that combining a digital potentiometer and an instrumentation amplifier to get a flexible, programmable gain amplification circuit to solve the aforementioned difficulties. Besides, a touch screen with friendly user interface makes the tester easier to use, and the capability of data storage in SD card facilitates further analysis of the data.
伏安特性(I-V)曲线是太阳能电池阵最重要的特性之一,是聚光光伏发电系统现场性能测试和设计不可缺少的参考资料。但是客户只能从厂家得到标准条件下的曲线,而实际运行环境差异很大。在任何条件下要得到连续准确的I-V曲线有两个困难,一是电阻器的范围从0到无穷大;二是测量对象范围广,测量小信号时精度不高。本文采用电容充电法模拟可变电阻器,并提出将数字电位器与仪表放大器相结合,得到灵活可编程的增益放大电路的方法来解决上述困难。此外,触摸屏和友好的用户界面使测试仪更容易使用,数据存储在SD卡的能力,便于进一步分析数据。
