Article considers the construction of operation model of the cement kiln node “The flue gases temperature” in the form of fuzzy behavior chart. We propose an application of the model constructing method by usage of the fuzzy approach, combined with fuzzy charts of nodes behavior. In addition are shown the ways of adapting the parameters of membership functions with the help of learning algorithms for neural networks. Also, article describes the solution for such several problems as the initial selection of membership functions and its optimal clarification based on the training data. Previously created smoothing algorithm used for solving the problem of reducing the random noise in the signals, coming from the sensors. It basically consists in prediction of the future size of the technological values and their subsequent approximation by k-th order polynomial. The resulting model is necessary for development of the logical structure for kiln control and the implementation of the joint operation of all kiln nodes for development the advising control system for rotary kiln of cement clinker calcination process.

Electromagnetic interference constitutes a serious problem for the design and operation of electronic and electrical security devices or systems because the impairment of the device function gives rise security complications. The complications may be associated with false alarms, errors in control of connected devices, image defects, losses of communication. The main purpose of the experiment reported here was to analyze and compare the level of the electromagnetic interference in a near and far field. In addition, the article also provides an interesting comparison of the results obtained by measuring in the Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic cell and semi-anechoic chamber.

One of the important problems of cytological image analysis is the cell segmentation. Today the most perspective direction of cytological image analysis is living cells investigation. Such images lead to many troubles for cell analysis. In this paper, we propose a solution of one such problems: pattern extraction of living cells from its aggregation and measurement of their 3D characteristics.

This article describes the development of control system of robotic complex for constructions and buildings printing. Based on analysis of existing approaches authors propose the solution for control system development for 3D-printer with gantry-type construction, which can move on rails. Fully functional model of the control system was created by authors. It includes graph in the form of Petri net for research of system elements operation. This approach allows the control system to prevent the emergency situations in real-time when the failure or obstacles sensors are triggered. It also provides the desired positioning error within 10 mm and control of uniform printing using laser distance sensor mounted on the end effector. To test the efficiency of control algorithm of main movement module authors have developed simulation model of the control system using Matlab and studied reaction to safety sensor triggering and extruder positioning error. Model confirms the possibility of proposed algorithm usage in real device.

The extremely populated state of current ICs have motivated for advanced High-level Synthesis techniques to be used for specialized circuits. Due to the complexity and lack of flexibility of existing High-level Synthesis tools, most of the low level circuits such as signal coding blocks were left out of the EDA scope and to the responsibility of layout engineers. In this paper we present a High-level Synthesis approach which is suitable for both complex and low level custom block design. The advantage of this approach is a uniform and formal treatment of both high-level and low-level design, as well as provably correct results.

We consider a predator-prey model with the Allee effect on prey and whose dynamics is described by a system of autonomous ordinary differential equations. Such a model is a convenient way to study consequences of human activities on population level processes. The method of parametric identification based on partially available information, main features of the biological system and on parameter space investigation is developed. The methodology is demonstrated on simulations and on real measurements.

Spatial resolution is the main specification of satellite imagery quality, including the thermal infrared imagery. Many technical restrictions opposed to realize the high spatial resolution imagers of thermal infrared band. The software-based method for imagery spatial resolution enhancement is presented. The method used two sub-pixel shifted images that contain time-invariant thermal emissivity data. Enhanced spatial resolution infrared imagery provides better informativity for remote sensing application and allow producing more detailed data products based on thermal infrared imagery processing.

In control applications, we often come into contact with systems that response at the change of control signal by oscillations on systems output. These vibrations are unwanted and for their elimination different techniques are used in practice. The most commonly used techniques include PID regulation, frequency filtering and input shaping. This paper is dedicated to a proposal of adaptive input shaper and modelling of its effect on the output of the controlled system.
