On Stationary Probabilities of State-Dependent Markov Retrial Queue 论依赖状态的马尔可夫重审队列的静态概率

In this paper, we consider the Markov model of a multiserver retrial queue with an input flow rate that depends on the number of calls in an orbit and with a limited number of retrials. We have obtained the conditions for the existence of the stationary regime and presented formulas for steady-state probabilities. Our approach is based on the approximation of the input model by the model with truncated state space.

Обґрунтована доцільність та наведено приклади використання інформаційних дашбордів у розумних містах. Попри швидке поширення та розвиток елементів розумності із використанням IoT, впроваджуються різноманітні архітектури та платформи розумних міст. Інформаційні дашборди є своєрідним відображенням ключових показників (KPI) міста, що допомагає ефективно визначати сильні та слабкі сторони як для жителів міста так і для місцевої влади. The article substantiates the feasibility and provides examples of the use of information dashboards in smart cities. Despite the rapid spread and development of smartness elements using IoT, various smart city architectures and platforms are being implemented. Information dashboards are a kind of reflection of the city's key performance indicators (KPIs), which helps to effectively identify strengths and weaknesses for both city residents and local authorities.

The article describes radio beacon systems and presents a mathematical solution to determine the location of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a direction-finding device. This system ensures continuous flight and allows for determining the exact coordinates of targets, regardless of satellite signals. It facilitates the successful completion of combat missions in adverse weather conditions and when using radio electronic warfare (REW) systems based on signals received from radio beacons.

Запропоновано метод оцінювання оптимальної встановленої потужності фотоелектричної станції для живлення головного водовідливу закритої шахти. В якості критерія оптимізації обрано наближення до нуля річного сальдо по оплаті за електроенергію. Такий підхід суттєво знизить навантаження на бюджет громади.  Реалізації електростанції оптимальної конфігурації забезпечить підтримання балансу шахтних вод поствугільних регіонів та знизить імовірність підтоплень, провалів ґрунту, заболочення земель. A method for estimating the optimal rated power of a photovoltaic plant for powering the main drainage of a closed mine is proposed. As an optimization criterion, the approach to zero of the annual balance of payment for electricity was chosen. This approach will significantly reduce the burden on the community budget. The implementation of the optimal configuration of the power plant will ensure the maintenance of the balance of mine waters in post-coal regions and reduce the likelihood of flooding, soil subsidence, and waterlogging of land.

Technogenic factors that affect urban area flooding development, forecasts of improving groundwater level changes, and comprehensive management of urban groundwater must be taken into account and controlled. A three-dimensional mathematical model of groundwater level changes in cities has been developed, which takes into account atmospheric water infiltration, additional groundwater replenishment, transpiration, evaporation, evapotranspiration, and groundwater intake.

Evaluation of the dead zone of radar stations 雷达站死区评估

With the emergence of unmanned aerial vehicles, the assignments  of combating them have also become significantly more relevant. Today, operational countermeasures against UAVs are of great importance. Modern UAVs are capable not only of conducting video reconnaissance in a certain area, but also of observing a specific object for a long time and striking it. After detecting and identifying UAVs by RLS, it is necessary to take measures to neutralize them. In the paper, a mathematical model of the evaluation of the dead zone of RLS working together for the effective detection of unmanned aerial vehicles was established and a comparison of the dead zone was made on concrete examples. The purpose of the research work is to solve the problem of effective placement of joint working RLS  by mathematical methods for nonobserved remaining part of them had minimal volume and to select the necessary placement scheme.

A Design Water Discharge Maxima Forecasting Method Based on Observation Data Using Plotting Position Formulas 基于观测数据的设计排水量最大值预测方法,使用绘图位置公式

Plotting position formulas provide a non-parametric means to estimate the observed hydrological data probability distribution. In particular, using a plotting position formula, a plot of the estimated values from a theoretical parametric probability distribution can be compared with the observation data. It allows an examination of the adequacy of the fit provided by parametric probability distributions. However, results of calculating empirical annual probabilities of exceedance observed maxima water discharges show an increase in the divergence between the estimates obtained using the different plotting position formulas in case of more extreme events. Thereby, the choice of a relevant plotting position formula becomes a challenge. Different plotting position formulas may be admissible options. This article shows that the divergence between the plotting position estimates can be extrapolated to predict design maxima water discharges of low exceedance probabilities.
