OPHTHALMIC DISEASE DETECTION USING DEEP LEARNING 眼部疾病的深度学习检测

Abstract—Ophthalmic diseases, such as cataract, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, are significant causes of visual impairment and blindness. Early and accurate detection of these diseases plays a crucial role in ensuring timely interventions and improved patient outcomes. In this paper, we propose a deep learning-based approach for ophthalmic disease detection using the VGG-19 algorithm. A dataset comprising images of various ophthalmic diseases and normal eyes was collected from Kaggle. The dataset was preprocessed, and the VGG-19 model was trained on the labeled images. Performance evaluation was conducted using standard metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach in accurately identifying ophthalmic diseases. The VGG-19 model, with its deep architecture and convolutional neural networks, showcases strong performance in image classification tasks. This approach holds promise for assisting healthcare professionals in the early detection and management of ophthalmic diseases. Further improvements and enhancements, such as increasing the dataset size and incorporating additional disease classes, can be explored to refine the model's performance. The proposed methodology has the potential to contribute to the development of automated ophthalmic disease detection systems, thereby facilitating timely interventions and improving patient care. A majority of the wind turbines in use today's variable speed energy systems are double fed induction generators. We went over the goals and methods used in onshore horizontal axis wind energy turbine control. Design and implementation of control the model for the simulation and the analysis of a double-fed induction generator. Among the various technologies available for wind energy conversion the DFIG is one of the preferred solution because it offers the advantage of reduced mechanical stress and optimized power capture to variable speed operation. To facilitate the electrical production control, the separated control of active and reactive powers of such as machine is considered. The results of simulations realized under the MATLAB /Simulink software are analyzed and interpreted. IoT BASED SMART ENERGY METER USING LoRa TECHNOLOGY 使用LoRa技术的基于物联网的智能电能表

The objective of this paper is to provide a brief overview of how smart energy meters can benefit from incorporating LoRa-WAN and IoT applications. This paper proposes the use of LoRa-WAN and IoT applications in smart energy meters to enable real-time monitoring and calculation of power consumption. In today's technology-driven world, power management is crucial for the efficient operation of digital systems, and excessive power consumption can lead to system failures. By incorporating a LoRa unit into the design, the system's communication range can be extended to multiple locations within the specified range, as LoRa supports the deployment of numerous nodes. Furthermore, LoRa's bi- directional communication capability enhances the system's functionality. Compared to Wi-Fi-based IoT systems, which typically require multiple access points to cover large areas, the proposed LoRa-based solution offers cost advantages. By implementing the suggested software version on the devices, users can monitor their power consumption remotely and take necessary actions to optimize energy usage. Abstract—Exploiting ambient sources of vibration energy has become an emerging trend in the field of energy harvesting. There are several methods by which this can be achieved, out of which piezoelectricity has emerged as one of the efficient methods. For effective application of piezoelectric devices to harvest energy, it is important to recognise the sources or areas from where a large amount of vibration energy can be exploited. In this paper we present a multimorph piezoelectric device that would be employed to harvest vibrational energy from airport run-­‐ ways. We have explored the economic impact of our proposal by hypothetically employing our system on Heathrow Airport, London. Primarily the paper focuses on material selection, basicmechanical design and the economic impact of the piezoelectric harvester. Abstract- The main aim of this survey paper is to study and figure out the various methods and functionalities to implement an online platform where students of a particular college can share their projects and research done on any particular technology over a secure network which is locally hosted and is accessible to students and staff of a particular institution. The motto behind the project is to help build an interactive student/staff community where each user is able to showcase their talents and knowledge gained over an online platform. The content that can be uploaded ranges from any personal project, project ideas, blogs on new technology learnt or any research done on any topics. This paper covers the various Filtering algorithms & Server hosting. Towards the end of the paper, the future scopes are also discussed. The LGBT Community and the attitude towards them became one of the dividing factors among the society. This research is meant to recognize the attitude of students towards LGBTQ Community and to better understand the attitude of young minds about the community to work for betterment of the LGBTQ Community. This study presents the data of students of Lovely Professional University and their thoughts on LGBT Community and how their attitude has changed with the help of Media. And to better understand these young minds. This study aims to advance knowledge about young people's perceptions of the LGBTIQ+ community. Specifically, this study will investigate the factors that contribute to positive or negative attitudes towards the LGBTIQ+ community among youth, the impact of social and cultural factors, and the implications of these attitudes for social justice, policy, and practice. This research will be conducted with a Sample size of 200 students of Lovely Professional University, Punjab. And this study aims to analyse the attitudes of youth towards the LGBTIQ+ community, with a particular focus on understanding the factors that contribute to negative attitudes and stigma towards the community. To achieve this aim, a mixed-methods research design will be used, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative methods.
