Lensless imaging with diffractive masks suffers from strong wavelength and angular dependency of their point spread function. We demonstrate that substituting a diffractive mask with an equivalent refractive free-form surface helps to improve imaging quality.

We present a fast and robust algorithm for lensless microscopy object 4D tracking called the DarkTrack. We validate the tracking accuracy on the simulated datasets and show the experimental results of tracking live spermatozoids.

We exploit the quantum parameter estimation approach proposed by Personick [1] to develop a Bayesian adaptive sequential measurement scheme to estimate the number, brightness and location of point sources in a constellation. We demonstrate that the proposed measurement scheme outperforms the traditional diffraction-limited imaging in the deep sub-Rayleigh regime.
