Knowledge fusion is to combine knowledge from multiple, distributed, heterogeneous knowledge sources. To control the scale of fusion-knowledge and avoid the illogic knowledge, relationship strength between the knowledge elements and semantic relevancy based on ontology were firstly analyzed. Next, Semantic entropy of fusion-knowledge was defined and analyzed using maximum entropy models. On the basis of the analysis above, fusion-knowledge measure with the attribute value weight was formulated to provide guidance for knowledge fusion algorithm. Then, the accelerating fitness function was formulated through fusion-knowledge measure and the genetic simulated annealing algorithm was applied to knowledge fusion by improving population selection and genetic operations. According to the analysis of the balance equation for knowledge entropy, the evaluation mechanism based on information diffusion theory was applied to improving the accuracy of fusion-knowledge. Finally, their effectiveness was demonstrated by an illustrative example. The results show that knowledge fusion algorithm and its evaluation mechanism are beneficial to find the better and potential knowledge, and the semantic relativity and the accuracy of fusion-knowledge are improved.

Image fusion is an effective approach for improving spatial resolution of multispectral(MS) images by incorporating the detailed information of panchromatic (Pan) image, which need not change the original imaging system hardware. In this paper, we propose a fusion method for IKONOS/QuickBird images using generalized IHS (GIHS) technique based on maximum likelihood (ML) estimation. First, the regression coefficients are computed by the regression function between Pan and MS images. Then, the intensity component of the MS images is obtained by those coefficients. After that, a new Pan image is acquired using ML framework based on the observed model. Finally, the fused images are obtained by the GIHS method. Experiments on spatially degraded IKONOS/QuickBird MS images, whose original MS images are available for reference, show that the reconstructed results applying to the proposed approach have better spectral quality and spatial quality.

he importance of image tracking system to TV guidance missile and the modes of target tracking were introduced firstly. Aiming at disadvantage of primal algorithm of template matching, genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to template matching. The GA adopts new encoded mode and defines new cross and mutation operator. In addition, the paper analyses the influence of crossover and mutation probability to GA. In order to get appropriate crossover probability and mutation probability, a new adaptive genetic algorithm (NAGA) is adopted. Simulation results prove that target tracking based on the NAGA can reduce computational load and enhance matching speed.

The research of feature corner recognition for the calibration target is a crucial area for a vision-based measurement system. For the disability of detecting the corner’s location in a vehicle test system accurately, the theoretical errors based on Harris algorithm are analyzed. Experimental results show that the method can not be used in the vision-measured field as the corner cluster phenomenon. The novel corner detection algorithm based on grayscale symmetry is presented. The Gassian weighted symmetry detector is designed to illustrate the symmetrical feature around the optimal corner. Further Experimental results show that the detector proposed can be used to test the corner locations of the calibration target precisely.

This paper studies a permutation flowshop scheduling problem (PFSP) with the objective of total tardiness minimization. An improved estimation of distribution algorithm with machine learning, named ML-EDA, is proposed. This algorithm divides the job permutation into several segments and introduces an external archive to keep elite solutions. A two-layer probability model is then constructed in the ML-EDA, and the statistical learning method is employed to produce the probability that the each of job falls at each segment and the probability that the job falls at each location in the segment. Computational results based on benchmark illustrated that the ML-EDA can obtain better solution than the standard EDA for the permutation flowshop scheduling problem with the objective of minimizing total tardiness.

Load balance problem has become a research hot spot problem of distributed computing field, whose objective is to ensure that each physical resource is allocated efficiently and fairly. As a typical distributed computing environment, the load balance of resource allocation in cloud computing environment is implemented by the live migration of virtual machines. A virtual machine resource provision genetic algorithm based on load balance, LB-GA is presented. Combined with the advantages of genetic algorithm, the proposed algorithm has an excellent outcome in balance of resource allocation. The simulation experimental results show that LB-GA can not only get fewer virtual machine migration amount, but also can implement load balance of cloud resource allocation. In the end, an application scenario of load balance in cloud computing environment is constructed to demonstrate the importance of our algorithm.

Now the tourism information is overflow in the internet, but the useful information is had to find out. So, it takes the recommendation technology in common use as the research object, and adopts the comparison method to study different recommendation technologies, such as the association rules, collaborative filtering and item-based recommendation. The Apriori algorithm is discussed in the association rules first, therefore an improved Apriori method has been considered as an appropriate recommendation ways for tourism information service. Second, there are more and more evaluation record for those new or old tourist destinations or scenic spot by visitor can be found in internet, so it is easy to generate recommendation itemset. Then the collaborative filtering recommendation is selected as a promising recommend technology for tourism. Besides, the best feature of the item-based collaborative filtering recommendation is its expansibility so it is also a useful method for massive tourism information service. Lastly, the applicable tourism information recommendation method has been defined based on the user modeling.

A new blind image watermarking scheme was proposed based on Fast ICA and the wavelet tree structure, which featured the following characteristics as scrambling the watermark to enhance the security, taking advantage of the human visual system properties and extracting the watermark without original image. The experimental results show that the proposed blind image watermarking scheme is invisible and robust against various signal processing attacks such as compression, noise adding, cropping and so on.

In the collective events, we can observe that individual's motion intensity change with some factors. This paper presents agent-based collective event model to study the cause of individual's motion intensity emerging in the process of the "organization and non-direct interest" collective events. By analysing the simulation of some factors that affect agent's motion intensity in events, we reveal changing law of motion intensity and the development process of the event. This experiment reflects the impact of different factors on crowd behavior. It contributes to relevant department distinguishing priorities and knowing the reason for the change of event and improving the efficiency and capacity to resolve the event, when they face to this kind of collective event.
