In Indonesia, Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail is known as a preacher, community leader, and Islamic scientist who has very strong intellectual roots, masters various fields of Islamic knowledge and has high dedication to the development of hadith science in Indonesia. His thoughts related to the development of hadith studies are widely articulated through a number of books, articles and papers which he wrote through local and national media. He has produced no less than 164 scientific papers, both in the form of scientific treatises, books, research results, notes/notes, papers, texts of speeches, articles, theses and dissertations. The works he produces are not only limited to the field of hadith, but also include the fields of fiqh, astronomy, thought, and other fields of science. In addition, three volumes of works and thirteen information contributions for the Islamic Encyclopedia. Among Syuhudi's works, around eight have become the main books in the subject of hadith and hadith science in all Faculties of Religion in Indonesia, especially the Department of Hadith Science or Hadith Interpretation, for example Introduction to Hadith Science (1987) and Ulumul Hadith (1992).

This article aims to discuss the sharah hadith concerning the position of the world for humans, especially for believers and unbelievers. In a hadith it is stated that the world is a prison for believers and heaven for unbelievers, generally prison is often defined as suffering while heaven is defined as pleasure. But in fact there are many believers whose lives are happy and far from suffering as well as unbelievers, not all of whom live happily. With the syarah bi al-ma'tsur method, this study will discuss how the real position of this world is for believers and unbelievers. The result of the explanation of bil matsur for this hadith is that the world is like a prison for believers because in living their lives they have limits according to the provisions of Allah Almighty, and the enjoyment that believers get in the world is like a prison because in the hereafter the enjoyment that is obtained is in the form of His heaven is far away. better value than in the world. while the world is like heaven for unbelievers because in living their lives they are free to do anything and Allah's reward in the afterlife in the form of hell for them is far more sad and terrible than their sorrow in the world.

This paper is a socio-historical study of Mahmud Yunus's contribution on hadith studies in Indonesia, especially about ethical hadith. The study of hadith in Islamic history actually began after Muhammad designation as messenger of God, Allah Ta’ala. So at that time the transmission of the prophetic traditions is also started. By the times, Islam had been increasingly widespread, and it also has an impact on the development of hadith studies, riwaya as well as diraya. Shortly explained, hadith studies also started to enter Indonesia and became important part of interests for Indonesian Moslem scholars to be disscused. One of them who paid much attention and had high contributions on it is Mahmud Yunus. Since he wrote first book of Musthalah Hadith in Indonesian language with his partner Mahmud Aziz, namely ‘Ilm Musthalah Hadith. The discussion of Mahmud Yunus's thought on Hadith becomes more interesting because of his experties is not on hadith. It was Islamic Education. But once again, what Mahmud Yunus has contributed on history of the hadith studies development in Indonesia certainly cannot be underestimated.

The tradition of reading the asyghil shalawat is carried out at the Al-Huda Citemu taklim assembly. The practice of asyghil shalawat is praise to Allah and His Messenger. This research focuses on the study of living hadiths, the meaning of the tradition of reciting shalawat asyghil at the Al-Huda taklim assembly, Citemu Village, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency. The research method uses qualitative data. The subjects in this study were the asyghil shalawat prayer congregation. The object of this research is the traditional meaning of reciting the asyghil shalawat. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the tradition of reciting the asyghil shalawat is a practice based on the Al-Qur'an and hadith. The process of implementing the Asyghil shalawat at the Al-Huda Citemu taklim assembly is carried out every day. Sholawat asyghil is read once after the obligatory prayer and is recited seven times on Friday. The reading of this shalawat is done in congregation. Beginning with reading tawasul to His Majesty the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his family, friends, salafushalih. The meaning of reading the asyghil shalawat for the congregation is to make the heart calm and the soul at peace, feel safe from temptation and seduction, keep away from illness, and keep away from tyranny. Asyghil sholawat is understood in different versions, some of which understand that this asyghil shalawat is a prayer, tasbih, tawasul, istigosah, and the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

This article discusses the popularity of the Innamᾱ Buʻiṡtu Liutammima Makᾱrim al-Akhlᾱq hadith among the Muslim community which is widely used by scholars, but its fame does not guarantee that the hadith is authentic and original from the Prophet. The term Liutammima (perfect) in the Hadith of Makᾱrim al-Akhlᾱq which is assumed to be good morals needs to be interpreted historically, related to the events that surround it. Studying the Dilthey hermeneutic approach because it focuses on historical understanding. The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning of the Hadith of Liutammima Makᾱrim al-Akhlᾱq in the perspective of Dilthey's historical hermeneutics. The method used in this article is library research which is processed with qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the research in this article show that Dilthey has characteristics in his historical hermeneutics, namely erleben, ausdruck, and verstehen. Interpretation is carried out through a reciprocal relationship between Erlebnis (appreciation of the historical context of the Prophet Muhammad in which there were good and bad morals of Arab society at that time), Ausdruck (the text of the Hadith of Liutammima Makᾱrim al-Akhlᾱq as a product of the expression of the life of the Prophet Muhammad), and Verstehen (understanding of the text of the hadith in the life experience of the Prophet Muhammad).
