This paper presents a new situation in terms of human relations. Nowadays, the new technology changes our way of communicating and relating. UAICCrush is a Facebook page which exemplifies this kind of situation. Our research analysed the exchange of messages through this page. As a result, we developed a typology of the Internet users who send messages in order to be published on the page (the dreamer, the undecided, the sarcastic, the charming, the detached and the pragmatic). Also, we established a quantitative description of the page activity during the analysed period. This (micro)research opens future directions for scientists interested in the effects of virtual interactions between people.

Dance and movement therapy is about the creative use of movement and dancing in a therapeutic alliance. The present study analysis semi-structured interviews from people connected to young people with Down’s syndrome. Our subjects practiced dances like ballet, zumba, vals, tango and also therapeutic movement. Some of them proved their skills in events specially organized for people with disabilities, but also in inclusive events, where they danced together with professional dancers, in Romania, Republic of Moldavia and Italy. The effects of dancing include increased self- esteem, relaxation, social inclusion, improved learning skills; they also developed social skills, because they met a lot of people in different social contexts.

In order to implement the gold and silver mining project in Roșia Montană, Roșia Montană Gold Corporation (RMGC) adopted the strategy of glocalisation in its interaction with the local community; as part of the same strategy, the referendum to restart mining in the Apuseni region was also conducted. The article presents, based on the data analysis technique, the results of the referendum, while also identifying the main causes of its invalidation. Among the causes referred to below, the disregard of the concentric circles model and the exaggerated extension of the areas (the localities) where the referendum was organized emerge as prominent.

The present work analyses the theoretical perspectives on the role education plays in the formation and recruitment of politicians in Romania. We have analysed the legislative mandates of the parliamentarians of the Chamber of Deputies from the 2004-2008, 2008-2012 and 2012- 2016 periods, whose mandates overlapped with two types of electoral systems. Additionally, we have analysed the CVs of the parliamentarians who, in 2016-2020, ran as number one nominees on party- lists of both the Social Democrat and the National Liberal parties. In this analysis we took into account the validity of the degrees they received from Romanian universities, as well as the number of degrees: Bachelor’s Degree, Masters’s Degree, PhD. From the capital theory standpoint, we noticed that there is a two-way transaction between the political capital and the educational capital. The results highlight that the parties opted for a negative selection education-wise of those nominated to occupy a Parliamentary seat or a public office.

Our digital society becomes today the new battleground for powerful state actors, such as the Russian Federation, interested in boosting strategic narratives designed to systematically shape people’s perceptions and generate "alternative realities" suitable for empowering Russia's foreign policy objectives. This research recovers the web content stored on the Russian platform ro.sputnik.md and delivers answers by interpreting large quantities of data: all news headlines, their summary, date of publication, views, positive/negative reviews, comments, tags assigned by the publisher as well as the section in which the news is framed, all for better understanding the key themes that Russia promotes in our country.

Which will dominate the Middle East: extremism or the path of compromise? Is it possible that the European Union together with the international community to contribute to the establishment of a lasting, just and comprehensive peace? This paper presents some answers to these questions which will certainly be helpful in foreshadowing the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the situation in the entire Middle East. The paper concentrates on and analyzes the role of the European Union regarding the mediation/resolving of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Communication has always been a main component of education, an indispensable support for the education system. Receptive to the human communication development, the timeless school practice has never stopped to wisely integrate and absorb the various verbal and non verbal forms and means in its procedural structures. This is today more obvious than ever, in a society of knowledge and globalised communication, when the act of communication is applied effectively in all domains of inter- personal activities and human social life. A major role is played today in this context by the powerful technological communication tools, with major implications in the development of the educational system.

The relationship that is created between mass communication and the national interest, in general, and the national security interest, in particular, is based on the relationship between communion and democracy in the public space. We will demonstrate that the media message can perhaps contribute to social integration and solidarity, by offering journalistic products that capture the general attention and interest, and by promoting the culture of security, an aspect that we consider essential in our analysis. We propose certain ways by which the media treatment of the topics related to issues of national security should have the purpose of promoting national security interests, through journalistic products.

During 2015-2018 Brașov lost each of the three major competitions in which it participated (2020 Youth Olympic Games, 2021 European Capital of Culture and Capital of Youths from Romania in 2019-2020). Particular aspects have drawn our attention in the processes of these candidacies and made us ask ourselves „what is Brașov” and what Brașov identifies with? This article is a short case study about how Brașov prepared its candidacy for the 2021 European Capital of Culture competition and how Brașov is perceived.
