This research aims to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based assessment instruments on economic subjects especially in Basic Competencies 3.4 price and inflation index. This study adopts the development model of Borg & Gall which is limited to five stages of development, namely, data collection, product design, product testing, product analysis and final product revision. This research was conducted on 33 students of Social Eleven One class at Senior High School 1 Cerme. This assessment instrument produces 15 multiple choice test and has been tested twice. This study shows the results that in the first and second trials the overall validity value of the problem is greater than r table which is 0.344 and the reliability value is 0.786 and 0.763. This shows that the assessment instrument is valid and reliable. While the test for the quantity of items consists level difficulty of the question, differentiating question and effectivity of distractor that meet the quality criteria of HOTS-based questions. Based on the results of the trial it was found that there were 7 students who were included in the "less" category. Overall, the average student has a high level of thinking ability that requires sufficient categories. So, the efforts to support the learning process continue to be needed which is useful for improving higher order thinking skills in students.

Higher education institutions should be able to change the mindset of students who are not only as job seekers, but also job creators especially when educated unemployment in Indonesia increases every year. Entrepreneurship is one solution in tackling unemployment and poverty which will encourage national economic growth. This study examines the effect of self-efficacy and contextual environment on entrepreneurial behavior with entrepreneurial intention as an intervening variable using Theory of Planned Behavior. The subjects of this study were Semarang State University students who owned a business and joined the UNNES Student Entrepreneurship Center (UNSEC) and Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Perguruan Tinggi (HIPMI PT) Semarang State University totaling 310 students. The results showed a direct relationship between self-efficacy and contextual environment towards entrepreneurial behavior and indirect relationships through entrepreneurial intentions. It was proved by the moderating role of entrepreneurial intention in facilitating the relationship of self-efficacy and contextual environment to student entrepreneurial behavior in accordance with the Theory of Planned Behavior. Future studies can use elements of social and demographic psychology that are more complete and involve a wider population.

This study aims to analyze the effect of hidden objectives in the Introduction to Management lectures that use the Concept-mapping and Coaching method on explaining skills of prospective teacher students. This research is included in the development study. The study population was all students of introduction to management (non-Microteaching) in the Faculty of Teacher Training which consisted of two classes (PE-A 40 students as control class and PE-B 39 students as experimental class). This study used simple random sampling technique to determine 14 sample people from each class. Primary data were obtained from samples of two classes through observation in explaining skills, and then data were analyzed descriptively and in in analysis of Independent sample t-test. From the descriptive analysis, the average score of explaining skills of prospective teacher students in the experimental class was higher than the control class score. The results of the analysis of the t-test for equality test showed that there are convincing differences in explaining skills in prospective teacher students between the control class and the experimental class. Thus, the hidden objective in the Concept-mapping & Coaching Method in the lecture of Introduction Management can improve the better explaining skills of prospective student teachers. Suggestions from the results of this study are that other non-Microteaching lecturers in the Faculty of Teacher Training will use hidden objectives to accelerate mastery of student teacher teaching skills in an effort to support the realization of professional prospective teachers.

This study aims to examine the influence of the learning community on computer-based statistic acceptance. Acceptability is measured with perceived usefulness variables, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and reuse intention. This study used quasi-experimental design. To selecting the respondents, researchers used cluster random sampling and a questionnaire to collect the data. Respondents consisted of 207 accounting students of which 86 were engaged in the learning community while 121 were not. One-way ANOVA analysis result showed that students who participated in the learning community have better computer-based statistic acceptance than the students who did not. The learning community was found to be able to facilitate the transfer of knowledge among students more freely than in the classroom. Further research can consider true-experimental design or lab experiment with more rigorous manipulation for controlling bias from another variable that may consist.

The research method used was a survey. The population in this study were MAN 3 Jakarta students with an affordable population of IIS and MIA 11th grade students totaling 150 students. The sampling technique was the Proportional Random Sampling with 105 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Based on the analysis of the requirements test, the data was normally distributed and had a linear relationship. The regression equation obtained is Ý = 23.908 - 0.430 X1 + 0.648 X2. Based on the test coefficient of determination, economic literacy and conformity have an effect on consumers by 29%. The lack of students’ understanding of basic economic concepts such as the difficulty of students managing their finances because they prioritize their wants rather than needs. Students who often spend time with their friends and easily influenced by their friends and have low economic knowledge and understanding, will tend to be easier to have a high level of consumer behaviour. Conclusion of the research stated there was negative influence of economics literacy to the consumptive behaviour on MAN students, meanwhile the conformity has a significant positive effect on that.
