Achievement of Sustainable Manufacturing From Industry 4.0 Technologies – Future Perspective 从工业 4.0 技术实现可持续制造 - 未来展望

Throughout history, manufacturing has consistently been at the forefront of technical progress, seeing the evolution from steam engines through cyber-physical systems, electricity, IoT, microprocessors, AI, automation, computers, and now. In the context of promoting growth of economy and generating lasting value in industries, sustainable manufacturing comprises the three essential components of manufacturing, namely processes, products, and systems. In order for manufacturing to be deemed sustainable, it is essential that these three components, when examined individually, illustrate the advantages in terms of environmental, economic, and social aspects. The primary objective of sustainable manufacturing is to produce things of superior quality while minimizing resource consumption and ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and local communities. This article explores the future direction of research in the domains of Industry 4.0 and sustainable manufacturing technology. Upon reviewing the extant literature, six key areas emerge as important subjects for further inquiry. These focal points are elucidated, along with the identified gaps in knowledge that need more exploration. Relevant papers for this research were identified using keywords such as "Sustainability," "Industry 4.0," "sustainable manufacturing," "manufacturing sustainability," or "smart manufacturing."

In the contemporary world, the Internet technology and its implementation mode are advancing at a swift pace, leading to an exponential growth in the scale of Internet data. This data contains a significant amount of valuable knowledge. The effective organization and articulation of knowledge, as well as the ability to conduct thorough calculations and analyses, have garnered significant attention and developments within a particular environmental context. The utilization of knowledge graphs for knowledge reasoning has emerged as a prominent area of focus within the realm of knowledge graph research. It holds substantial significance in the realm of vertical search, intelligent answering, and various other applications. This article will be centered on fundamental principles of reasoning. The approach of knowledge reasoning oriented towards knowledge graphs is focused on the derivation of novel knowledge or the detection of erroneous knowledge through the utilization of pre-existing knowledge. In contrast to conventional knowledge reasoning approaches, the knowledge reasoning technique employed in knowledge graphs is characterized by greater diversity, owing to the succinct, adaptable, and flexible representation of knowledge.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the recognition and use of Business Process Management (BPM) in both academic research and practical applications. The use of innovative ICT plays a crucial role in efficacy enhancement and efficiency of corporate collaboration and the management of inter-organizational business processes. Within this particular context, it is essential for organizations that engage in cooperation to possess a collective comprehension of their internal processes, as well as those of their collaborating partners. Additionally, they must also possess an awareness of the evolving inter-organizational process structures that may arise. To foster a collective comprehension, the use of collaborative modeling might prove to be a valuable strategy. The scope of business processes extends to include activities that go outside the confines of a company, hence necessitating the adoption of process of modelling collaborative business. The practice of BPM involves several intricate iterations and extensive collaboration between business analysts and domain experts. Processes of collaborative business serve as enablers for businesses to cultivate adaptable and dynamic partnerships, allowing them to effectively respond to changing circumstances and maintain competitiveness within the global market. The primary objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive examination of contemporary cBPM methodologies.

Several studies have been conducted to examine the concerns of staff members in the context of organizational transformation. The conduct of leaders plays a critical role in the context of organizational transition, as they are responsible for articulating a clear vision of the change, offering direct assistance to workers, and exemplifying proper behavior. The aforementioned acts have been shown to contribute to the establishment of stability during periods of transition and to strengthen workers' dedication to the change process. During periods of transition, some individuals may have difficulties in disengaging from their previous company. This may be attributed to a feeling of loss experienced when they are required to relinquish familiar and highly-regarded structures, procedures, and regulations. The present research will use the information that was subjected to analysis using the content analysis technique. This may be attributed to the significant reliance on secondary source of information. The outcome of the assessment will give insights into potential enhancements for organizational transformation processes. There are many reasons why it is essential for a company to consistently engage in the process of effecting change. The company must take into account the critical role that workers play in implementing a transformation process. The sustainable long-term performance and success of a company are contingent upon the contributions of its personnel.

Logistics and Supply chain play a crucial role in the functioning of commercial operations. A supply chain encompasses the process of acquiring and distributing commodities, while logistics pertains to the transportation, warehousing, and overall handling of resources and products. Both commercial and emergency supply chains encounter various obstacles, however they may derive valuable insights from one other's tactics and business models. Logistics comprises several components, including transportation, storage, inventory management, packaging, and information processing. The primary objective of logistics management is to effectively coordinate the availability of appropriate resources, ensuring their timely delivery to the designated destination. Supply chain management is a strategic approach that combines essential business activities in order to enhance value for both customers and stakeholders. Supply chain management encompasses the harmonization of several entities, including suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, transporters, retailers, and consumers, with the objective of fulfilling client demands while simultaneously reducing expenses. There is a prevailing agreement among scholars that SCM and logistics constitute a crucial area of study. However, it is noteworthy that there is a scarcity of literature evaluations pertaining to this subject matter. This study aims to identify and discuss prominent topics in contemporary research by conducting a comprehensive literature assessment from the standpoint of operations management. Furthermore, we have derived some insights and identified potential avenues for further study in this particular domain.

The paper examines the theoretical underpinnings of development of technology through the lens of Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) theory. Additionally, the paper employs Rieck and Dickson's Technology Strategy Model (TSM) to emphasize the importance of technology management. By incorporating the Management of Technology (MOT) theory, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding and shaping technology development. The integration of several technologies inside the SMS system has been the subject of discussion in relation to patenting. The features of Smart Manufacturing Systems (SMS) have been examined in order to analyze the comprehensive components of this emerging technological system. The suggested SMS model of the clothing manufacturing unit has been used to represent the global textile complex. This research incorporates recent scholarly publications and advancements in technology to provide a comprehensive understanding of future manufacturing system views. The objective is to minimize human involvement and enhance production efficiency within the manufacturing business. The primary components of the SMS have been identified as the cyber-physical system, artificial intelligence (AI), digital twin, enterprise resource planning, additive manufacturing, and big data.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a software system designed to facilitate the automation and management of essential business operations inside businesses, with the aim of achieving optimum performance. ERP software facilitates the integration and synchronization of data across various business processes inside an organization. This results in the establishment of a unified and reliable source of information, which in turn optimizes the efficiency and effectiveness of operations throughout the whole firm. The platform has the capability to integrate a company's human resource functions, financials, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, reporting and commerce into a unified system. The objective of this article is to provide a comprehensive examination of the historical progression and evolution of ERP systems, while also highlighting contemporary advancements facilitated by digital breakthroughs such as cloud computing. The research methodology used in this work included doing a comprehensive evaluation of scholarly literature sourced from academic publications as well as industry sources. The study revealed that ERP systems have undergone significant transformations compared to their predecessors, like MRP (material resource mapping) systems and IC (integrated control) packages. The ongoing transformations are seen in conjunction with the emergence of cloud computing and advancements in modern technologies such as artificial intelligence. Numerous scholarly publications have already examined the progression of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs). However, the distinctive value of this particular article lies in its comprehensive coverage of the latest advancements in the field, including debates on cloud-based ERPs and postmodern ERPs.

However, it is important to acknowledge the potential drawback of being overwhelmed amongst the rapid pace of advancements. The logistic operations automation and the subsequent creation of autonomous logistics systems are significant phenomena that have profound implications for the future execution and planning of logistics processes. This article seeks to add to the ongoing discourse and delve into the inquiry of how the development of automated and autonomous logistics systems should be strategically planned and executed. The current editorial establishes a framework by elucidating the practical domains in which automation is used and deliberating on the conceptual trajectory leading to the development of autonomous logistics systems. The following papers provide valuable insights into the latest research findings on the autonomization and automation of physical and informational logistics operations, with a strong emphasis on practical applications.

This research is grounded on the conceptualization of CRM as a collection of technology solutions that play a pivotal role in effective company management. The current work aims to elucidate and establish the significance of the advantages associated with CRM, as previously emphasized in relevant literature, in relation to achieving business success. Existing sustainable studies are of special importance in this setting because they provide a model of practical inquiry into the positive effects of CRM practices across the 3D of sustainability (environmental, social, and economic). Once our predictions are confirmed, the following model`s validation will enhance our comprehension of how CRM-related advantages might amplify the beneficial influence of its conditions on each sustainability dimension. CRM may be seen as a kind of Green IT, focused on facilitating modern transformation and promoting the development of sustainable business models. This research model has the potential to serve as a foundational framework for a more targeted approach aimed at quantifying the effects and advantages of using CRM. We argue that this encompasses models of sustainable innovation and business.

There is a prevalent belief that more attention from top managers towards the basic values and culture of an organization will result in enhanced levels of productivity and creativity. Recent research in the area of transformational leadership emphasizes the significance of senior management in formulating and conveying a clear vision for the organization, exemplifying this vision, fostering innovation, providing support to employees, and involving them in decision-making processes pertaining to their work. The objective of implementing these strategies is to enhance productivity by fostering increased job satisfaction and professional self-assurance among personnel. The formulation of a company's strategy should align with the most probable pathways to achieve success in attaining the company's objectives. The implementation of organizational strategy and effective leadership results in the establishment of a prosperous organization. The study examined the potential achievement of an organization's goals and objectives via the integration of strategic planning and effective leadership. The present study is grounded on extensive research drawn from a diverse range of peer-reviewed scholarly publications pertaining to the subject matter of leadership and organizational strategy in relation to performance. To establish the causal relationship between organizational strategy and performance, several studies have been examined by scholars. This study empirically evaluates many hypotheses and validates them via a comprehensive analysis of the works of various authors.
