The purpose of this article is to present a framework of how implement a synchronous flow of raw material between a car manufacturer and original equipment manufacturers (OEM). The interest of such a subject is placed in a particular context of the automotive industry in Morocco marked by the RENAULT ecosystem signed under the Industrial Acceleration Plan (2014–2020).

Nowadays, companies seek to optimize their position in the global market. To do so, they are forced to work together to maintain a competitive advantage based on a unified approach to value creation. This collaboration is increasingly taking place through information systems and technologies. This article aims to present the role of inter-organizational collaboration in the logistics information systems adoption. 190 questionnaires were collected from 227 agribusiness companies in the region of Souss Massa Draa. This research has demonstrated the impact of relational factors on the adoption of these collaborative technologies in the Moroccan context.

The aeronautic industry is an industry that uses the most innovative technologies ensuring safety, quality and respect for the environment. Thus, the problem that arises is to manufacture, at the least cost, more comfortable, safer and more effective aircraft that meets the expectations of passengers and the requirements of the companies. As a matter of fact, our paper is aimed at and, through a hypothetical-deductive approach, to emphasize the need to adopt the organizational concept called «Leagility». This concept combines two organizational concepts, the first is a rational system called «lean Management» (LM). It is a progressive and continuous system that promotes the total quality approach and the development of a value chain as well as the elimination of any kind of waste or losses. The second presents a reactive system called «Agile Thinking» (AT), Which emphasizes the perfect knowledge of the market and the judicious exploitation of the notion of a virtual company to exploit the opportunities that present themselves in a volatile market in order to guarantee a quality at the first time.

The planning of maintenance activities can hinder manufacturing operations in term of cost, quality and time, but it is necessary to ensure the availability of the production equipment to meet customer demands. We propose to model the function of maintenance tasks and production operations by the sum of the two costs under a set of constraints. As a method of resolution, we use genetic algorithms to optimize the integrated plan and to compare our results with the existing work in the literature.

The inventory management amelioration is influenced by Several factors such as the inventory consolidation, the supply flexibility, the quality and the transmission speed of information. The important factors influencing the stock, the purchase decision and the quantity to buy are the supply time and the demand. The first factor may cause the shortage risk if it has exceeded a desired delay. The non-stationary demand can cause a dead stock i.e. an obsolescence risk. The latter two types of risk generate an additional costs for the purchasing and storage costs. To avoid these costs, these risks have to be known with high precision. Furthermore, Bayesian networks are among the tools used in risk management. In this paper, we show the utility of Bayesian networks as reliable tool to model the spare parts inventory management.

In this paper, we introduce a new variant of the bi-objective orienteering problem (BOOP) called the bi-objective orienteering problem with budget constraint (BOOPBC) where an additional constraint is imposed on the budget of the tourist. In this problem, a set of points of interest (POIs) is given each with two profits and an entrance fee. The objective is to design routes visiting a set of POIs, so that the total profits of the visited POIs are maximized, while respecting the maximum length limit of the route and the limited budget of the tourist. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to address the BOOPBC. To find an approximation of the set of Pareto optimal solutions, we develop a hybrid metaheuristic based on the greedy randomized adaptive search procedure (GRASP) which uses an iterated local search (ILS) as an improvement phase. The proposed algorithm is tested on a set of benchmark instances extended from existing benchmarks. We also implement a simple multi-objective GRASP with Path Relinking procedure in order to verify the performance of the proposed method.

Lean and Six Sigma are approaches that have the same motivation: Processes improvement and customer satisfaction. Both were used separately in the healthcare sector, but rarely together. This paper intends to integrate the two approaches in order to reach the highest level of patient safety.

In this paper, we propose a generalized version of the full truckload vehicle routing problem FTVRP in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply chain. We focus on the supply component that is considered to be the main element of LPG supply chain. The objective consists of determining a schedule of weekly supply which minimizes as well the gas acquisition cost as that of its transport. In order to effectively solve this problem, the mathematical model is established and a neighboring search solution heuristics (VNS) is proposed. The initial solution is generated using a Greedy Algorithm by selecting the most beneficial nodes in terms of transportation cost and gas acquisition cost. In the experiment, different sizes' problems are used and the numerical results getting with big instance are explored.

The waiting time in transport stations is considered as crucial factor which may influence the public transport perception. It is necessary to have adequate solutions in order to make the waiting time more exploitable. So, several stations' activities must be engaged to minimize the perceived waiting time. To identify these passengers activities in a multimodal transport station and there factors, a Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) followed by a Fuzzy Classification have been adopted. These methods are applied to a Tunisian Great Sahel survey.
