Perempuan memiliki kontribusi penting dalam usaha peternakan sapi perah khususnya daerah pedesaan di negara berkembang. Namun, peran perempuan dalam usaha budi daya sapi perah di Indonesia masih belum banyak dikaji. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi karakteristik peternak sapi perah dan mengkaji peran perempuan dalam tata laksana usaha ternak sapi perah. Secara khusus penelitian ini akan meninjau peran perempuan dalam aktivitas dan kontrol, akses modal, akses bahan baku dan peralatan, serta manfaat bagi dua Kelompok Tani Ternak, kelompok tani ternak Berdaya dan Kelompok Tani Ternak Aura. Lokasi penelitian ini terletak di Desa Samiran Kecamatan Selo Kabupaten Boyolali Jawa Tengah, penelitian ini memilih dua kelompok tani ternak yang ditentukan berdasarkan pertimbangan menjadi salah satu sentra produksi susu sapi. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 49 responden peternak dari kedua Kelompok Tani Ternak yang ditentukan menggunakan metode sensus. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya dengan pendekatan Level of Effort (LoE) dan Level of Control (LoC) yang didasarkan pada karakteristik demografi dan peran perempuan di dalamnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peternak dari kedua Kelompok Tani Ternak masih dalam usia produktif (>92%), telah mengenyam pendidikan formal (100%), dan mayoritas telah memiliki pengalaman beternak lebih dari 15 tahun (>36%). Berkaitan dengan peran perempuan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perempuan kurang dalam mengakses informasi dari luar kelompok dibandingkan laki-laki. Perempuan dan laki-laki dari kedua kelompok memberikan kepercayaan penuh (100%) kepada kelompok untuk mengelola modal yang bersumber dari biaya pribadi dan sama-sama dapat mengakses peralatan budidaya untuk menunjang pelaksanaan pemeliharaan ternak sapi perah, sedangkan pada aktivitas, kontrol, dan kemanfaatan berdasarkan hasil analisis LoE dan LoC menunjukkan perempuan memiliki peranan usaha serta kontrol yang lebih besar dibandingkan laki-laki. Peran mutlak perempuan terutama dari aktivitas manajemen pemerahan dan pengolahan susu, sedangkan peran utama laki-laki pada manajemen perkandangan. Upaya peningkatan peran perempuan dalam usaha budi daya perlu dilakukan oleh pemangku kepentingan melalui penetapan kebijakan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan perempuan melalui program dan bantuan modal.

Dalam berbagai studi sering menunjukkan bahwa dalam situasi krisis berbagai bentuk kemampuan manusia dalam beradaptasi atau strategi bertahan hidup untuk keluar dari kesulitan. Hal ini terbukti ketika pandemi Covid-19 telah menyerang masyarakat seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Studi ini akan membahas dan menganalisis bagaimana strategi dan bentuk adaptasi masyarakat selama pandemi Covid-19, secara khusus di Desa Tegaltirto,Kecamatan Berbah, Kabupaten Sleman. Desa Tegaltirto menarik untuk diteliti karena desa ini menjadi akses utama dan jalur perdagangan antar kecamatan dan kabupaten. Sebagian besar masyarakatnya bekerja pada sektor informal yang rentan terhadap perubahan dan krisis. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan sampel populasi diambil di Dusun Kadisono, Sompilan dan Semoya dengan teknik sampling menggunakan stratified random sampling, jumlah sampel proporsional dengan jumlah populasi.Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh rumah tangga di Desa Tegaltirto menerapkan strategi bertahan hidup, bentuk strategi paling banyak dilakukan yaitu melakukan kontrol terhadap pemasukan dan pengeluaran. Pada strategi konsolidasi mayoritas rumah tangga menerapkan strategi menyesuaikan pengeluaran antar waktu dengan cara mengambil tabungan, mencari pinjaman, menggadai barang dan/atau menjual aset yang dimiliki. Sedangkan rumah tangga yang lainnya menerapkan strategi akumulasi dengan meningkatkan pemasukan melalui peningkatan produksi usaha yang dimilikinya

Tourism is one of the areas that is badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and this includes culinary tourism. However, shifts in culinary preference during the pandemic also give a new life in culinary tourism. Bandung, one of Indonesia’s major tourist destination, shows a potential to develop further in its culinary tourism during the pandemic. This however requires a proper strategy through identifying the preferences of tourists in choosing culinary tourism during the pandemic. This research provides a knowledge base for culinary tourism business people regarding tourist preferences in a pandemic situation like today. Data about the preferences of tourists can help culinary tourism business people to develop the right strategy to serve tourists in future and can design the right policies and strategies to respond the expectations and desires of tourists, especially culinary tourism in Bandung. With a sample size of 400 respondents, this study is a descriptive quantitative study employing the conjoint analysis approach, which is the most popular methodology to analyzing tourist preferences. This research found that the possibilities of travelers preferences when travelling Bandung as culinary vacation spot in pandemic are as follows. The aspect of selecting culinary products based on tourist facilities is the preference of tourists in COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the location of culinary with consideration of easy access or reach becomes choice of tourists in pandemic, in addition to the important of health protocols the cleanliness of locations. Finally, the priority score analysis found that the culinary product selection element has the greatest importance level among the other features.

Globally, ecotourism are struggling in implementing sustainable tourism principles. It is therefore important to identify source of challenges at planning process to avoid recurring problems in the future. Such a problema is apparent in the Koto Katik Ecopark in Padang Panjang, West Sumatera, despite government efforts utilizes the enormous opportunity for ecotourism development This paper evaluates the principles of sustainable tourism development adopted in the ecopark planning process. This research is based descriptive qualitative analysis data was collected through legal documents related to the planning process of Koto Katik Ecopark development. The data analysis includes description of the koto katik eco-park area, the potential for regional development, and examination of how sustainable tourism attributes exist. This study analyzes critical issues of ecotourism sustainable developmen, objectives, principles, and characteristics of the koto katik eco-park and their comparison with relevant theories and umtimately reveals the extent to which the principles of sustainable tourism development principles are followed. The result of the study shows that planning does not meet the principles of sustainable tourism development, such as the absence of conservation programs, design of tourism activities, distribution of stakeholder power, in planning, managing, and supervising ecotourism areas, analyzing the capabilities and expertise of local human resources, as well as supporting infrastructure and technology.

Queer as a gender identity draws varying responses globally. In French the representation of Queer in various social media has raised a number of public’s perceptions, both in positive and negative manners. This perception does not only concern about French linguistic issues, but also its socio-cultural issues. This study puts an emphasis on the widely-used speech patterns showing the public perception on both French queer and immigrant queers posted on French social media. Further, it also examines the socio-cultural context that influences the social contact and relation between the public and the phenomenon of Queer as a subject in social media. This study uses interactionist approach and gender-based critical discourse analysis based on the theory of interpersonal contact between groups proposed by Gordon Allport. In explaining the phenomenon, the researcher employs qualitative content analysis and uses criticial discourse analysis and gender-based criticism. The data are collected from both French and immigrant queers’ posts on social media in 2020. The results show that French queers are perceived to have equal standing position with other French people as they are considered as a part of French society. The result also shows that unlike French queer, the immigrant-descent queer are considered to have inequal position with French society due to the immigrant’s negative stereotype as the trigger of social problems in France.

Local wisdom has been associated with environmental conservation. How local wisdom and social practice shape determine environmental conservation is apparent in the the communities living along the rivers in Banjarmasin Sasirangan. Based on a qualitative approach with case studies of Sasirangan craftsmen. In Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin City, this study aims to analyses the correlation between social interaction, local wisdom, and environmental conservation Sasirangan. The informants are craftsmen and Sasirangan traders. The data was collected through observation, interviews with craftsmen and Sasirangan traders, as well as documents study. This study concludes that the social interactions occur between craftsmen and craftsmen, craftsmen and groups of craftsmen, and between groups of craftsmen by collaborating in making Sasirangan products and competition in determining the color, motif and Sasirangan marketing. In this process, local culture plays a key role in the form of Sasirangan cloth which has various colors and motifs with certain meanings which are continuously produced, preserved and passed down from generation to generation This creates a mechanis of social interaction and local wisdom that promotes environmental conservation through the cooperation between craftsmen in the manufacture of Sasirangan products using natural colors from nature that are environmentally friendly. By not using chemical coloring, the practice reduces the pollution of river environment in Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin.

Based on a qualitative approach with case studies of Sasirangan craftsmen. In Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin City, this study aims to analyses the correlation between social interaction, local wisdom, and environmental conservation Sasirangan. The informants are craftsmen and Sasirangan traders. The data was collected through observation, interviews with craftsmen and Sasirangan traders, as well as documents study. This study concludes that the social interactions occur between craftsmen and craftsmen, craftsmen and groups of craftsmen, and between groups of craftsmen by collaborating in making Sasirangan products and competition in determining the color, motif and Sasirangan marketing. In this process, local culture plays a key role in the form of Sasirangan cloth which has various colors and motifs with certain meanings which are continuously produced, preserved and passed down from generation to generation This creates a mechanis of social interaction and local wisdom that promotes environmental conservation through the cooperation between craftsmen in the manufacture of Sasirangan products using natural colors from nature that are environmentally friendly. Fluiditas media sosial memungkinkan identitas gender yang berseberangan dengan gender konvensional seperti dilakukan Jovi dan Anastasia melalui identitas androgini. Namun demikian, performativitas identitas yang direpresentasikan di media sosial tidak hanya diperuntukkan sebagai ekspresi diri, melainkan juga ada kepentingan lain yang dihadirkan. Berdasarkan hal itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana performativitas identitas androgini Jovi dan Anastasia di Instagram, dan bagaimana peran industri budaya dilibatkan. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis wacana multimodalitas dari Gunther Kress dan Theo van Leeuwen, konsep performativitas Judith Butler, dan konsep representasi diri di media sosial dari Jill Walker Rettberg. Adapun, korpus kajian ini ialah 4 foto yang terdiri dari 1 foto self-portrait dan 1 foto kerja yang masing-masing diunggah oleh Jovi serta Anastasia di akun Instagramnya. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa performativitas identitas androgini yang dilakukan keduanya bukan semata ekspresi diri, melainkan praktik komodifikasi. Social media occupies increasingly important roles in disaster response management. However, there are still doubts regarding the effectiveness of social media-based disaster communication. This paper aims to understand the discourse that emerge in Twitter containing facts or opinion regarding the flood disaster communication in DKI Jakarta under the different leadership of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (2014- 2017) and Anies Rasyid Baswedan (2017-2020). This research used the methods of Corpus Assisted Discourse Study (CADS) and Actor Network Theory (ANT). These methods collected data on the discourse that is happening on Twitter and analyzes the network of actors who are active in discussions about floods in DKI Jakarta at different periods of leadership. This research found that the discourse that has developed on Twitter about floods in DKI Jakarta covers the personal problems of the leaders, the personality of the leaders, and the political position of the leaders, offered little messages that leads to solving the problem of flooding in DKI Jakarta. The active actor network is dominated by the local government of Jakarta as the responsibility holder or the main actor in delivering in information is only played by BPBD Jakarta.

This study aims to reveal the meaning in the language used in pleasure-filled advertisements which are related to lifestyle. The concept of pleasure refers to hedonism which means prioritizing happiness and avoiding sadness or suffering. Ads about body care, travel and shopping are used as the subject of study. Using the analytical method of semiotic sign map of Charles Sanders Peirce, which consist of icons-indexes and symbols, this study analyzes the advertisements on Facebook and Istagram offering lifestyle from September through December 2020. Analysis is based on Baudrillard’s hyperreality and consumerism combined with the study of leisure time, hedonism and lifestyle. As the result, this research has identified terms used in verbal language of the advertisements i.e ‘lawan tanda penuaan’, ‘menyamarkan’, ‘mencerahkan’, ‘serasa’, ‘book now fly later’, ‘gajian’, ‘saatnya belanja’. Meanwhile, non-verbal signs consist of travel accommodation, lodging, blue sky, plants and temples in Bali. The analysis found that the advertising language leads to forgetting or getting away from real conditions and does not offer happiness itself. Pleasure capitalism is the heart of the advertisements offer. The conclusion of the research has shown that Semiotic sign system in the advertisements has became to maximize hyperreality.
