The aim of this study is to determine whether the level of aggression of the students of Physical Education and Sports School at Istanbul Ayvansaray University differs according to some demographic variables. For this purpose, 180 students from the Physical Education and Sport School participated voluntarily who got trainings from Istanbul Ayvansaray University’s Coaching Education Department, Sports Management Department, Recreation and Exercise and Sports Sciences Department. Survey data were obtained from the “personal information form” and the “Aggression Scale” developed by Buss-Perry, adapted to Turkish by Madran (2013). SPSS 21 package program was used to analyze the obtained data. In the analysis of the data, T-Test and One Way analysis of variance analysis were used. The difference between the variables was interpreted on the basis of p < 0.05 significance level. As a result of the study, although there were significant differences between the aggression levels of the students according to age and sex, the differences between the sections they studied and the level of aggression according to the field they were doing were meaningless. Students with alcohol and cigarette addictions were found to have higher levels of aggression. It was found that the mean score of male students was higher than that of female students.

In this study, we aim to assess pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy in using computer technology in the digital era as digital citizens. Briefly, students in the Faculty of Education were asked how they perceive computers and technology as a tool in life, education, and future careers. The samples were 615 pre-service teachers selected by Yamane’s method in sample selection from the population of 3093 students in the Faculty of Education, Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University, Thailand. The samples were 1-5th year student teachers from 20 majors in the faculty. The samples were from middle to upper-middle-income families considering the public status of the university with the tuition fee of around 350-400 USD a semester. The sole instrument of the study was a questionnaire with the purpose to investigate computer self-efficacy as digital citizens of the samples. The data were collected in 2020 via an online questionnaire and analyzed by percentage, mean score, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study lead to an explanation of the nature of prospective teachers’ beliefs and willingness to develop themselves as a member of the post-digital world, a place where a blurred area of virtual and authentic exist and affect people's lives. It shows that pre-service teachers of a certain socio-economy group had a high level of digital citizenship self-efficacy.

Nutrition is one of the most important factors for a healthy life, growth, development, appropriate body weight, defense against diseases, and sportive performance. The person’s age, gender, daily physical activity status, and before, after, and during training and competitions should be fed appropriately. Since the performance in athletes takes place by expending physical effort, the supply of necessary energy plays a key role in performance. Purpose: This study aims to examine athletes’ nutritional information in different Olympic sports branches. 313 athletes with an average age of 22.53 years, a body weight of 68.87 kg, a height of 174.44 cm, and an average sports age of 8 years, active in different Olympic sports branches, participated in the study. In the study, the data, the “Athlete Nutrition Knowledge Scale” was used. The arithmetic mean and standard deviations, descriptive properties, and percentage distribution frequencies of the obtained data were determined, and the SPSS 20 package program was used for all statistical analyses. Important findings were obtained within the scope of the study; Protein is the main source of energy used by muscles during exercise in 54.8% of athletes. When 50.2% of people want muscle gain, the basic dietary change required is to increase the amount of protein in the diet. 48.4% of vegetarian athletes can meet their protein requirements without using protein supplements. 45.8% Fruits and Vegetables are the best sources of calcium. Milk, Yogurt, and Cheese with 49.2% are the best sources of magnesium. 57.2% of Athletes A physically fit person with an adequate diet can improve his performance by consuming more vitamins and minerals. 66.2% of athletes should take vitamin C as a routine supplement by athletes. 50% of athletes test the purity and safety of all supplements before the sale. As a result of the study, when the above findings were examined, it was concluded that the knowledge of the athletes interested in the Olympic branches is not at the desired level and that they have partially wrong nutrition information. It is thought that it is necessary to increase nutritional knowledge.

This study aimed to determine the effect of exercise training on mental adaptation levels and communication skills in mentally handicapped individuals who were at an educable level. Based on this purpose, the Performance Determination Form for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, which was created in 2018 within the scope of the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services, and Hacettepe Spiritual Adaptation Scale developed by Gökler and Öktem (1985) were given to the families of 11 mentally disabled individuals, (3 girls and 8 boys), with a mean age of 11.90. Afterward, 130 hours of adapted physical education and sports activities were applied to 11 trainable mentally retarded individuals, 90 minutes a day, 2 days a week for 12 weeks. After this activity, the same measurements were performed by the families again and the differences were examined. As a result of SPSS, although there was no statistical significance in the behavioural and neurotic results, which were the sub-dimensions of the psychological adjustment variable, a decrease was observed in the post-test mean scores after the exercise program was applied. This result proves that physical education and sports activities have positive effects on the mental adjustment of individuals with educable mental disabilities. Findings on receptive language skills and expressive language skills, which were sub-dimensions of the participants’ communication skills, were examined. While the mean receptive language skills pre-test score was 31.72±3.00, the post-test mean score was 127.09±6.18, the expressive language skills pre-test mean score was 13.27±2.37, and the post-test mean score was 54.63±1.56. The observed difference was statistically significant. As can be seen, it was determined that physical education and sports activities applied have positive effects on individuals with educable mental disabilities, both in terms of psychological adaptation and communication skills. As a result, it has been determined in this research that physical education activities, which are an integral part of education, are very beneficial in terms of mental adaptation and communication skills, which are vital for individuals with mental disabilities.
