This scholarly article investigates the impact of diverse songs on second language (L2) learning, emphasizing cognitive, kinesthetic, and emotional engagement. This research recognizes songs as literary expressions, specifically through the lens of lyrics as literary texts, and explores their historical and ongoing significance in L2 education. Beyond linguistic proficiency, the article delves into the broader implications of integrating songs into language education. Educators observe that incorporating music fosters a positive learning environment, contributing to increased motivation and engagement among learners. The discussion in this article addresses the gaps in the integration of literary texts, including songs, into language education. It criticizes the tendency of tertiary foreign language programs to overemphasize 'literature' at the expense of linguistic aspects and the opposite approach at the lower secondary level, which focuses on linguistic aspects while neglecting literary involvement. The results of this literature review highlight the need to recognize the profound impact that literary texts, including songs, have on individual learners, urging the incorporation of artistic elements into language teaching practices in a more comprehensive and balanced manner. This article emphasizes that literature, through stories and narratives, contributes to the emotional development of learners, fostering empathy and understanding of 'otherness.' This research advocates the balanced and thoughtful integration of literature in FL classrooms, recognizing its capacity to go beyond language instruction and contribute to broader education and individual growth.

There are many alterations and adaptations of the workspaces after the Covid-19 pandemic. Nowadays, workspaces are required to have flexibility in facilitating physical and virtual activities, work-from-home (WFH), and work-from-office (WFO) activities. Besides, workspaces must provide comfort based on user preferences and demand to support workers’ health and productivity. In order to answer these problems, the design of interactive digital devices that can be adjusted according to physical needs, activities, and preferences is needed to support the ideal workspace comfort. The research method used in this research is a literature review related to ideal workspace comfort standards and an assessment of the Arduino as an interactive digital device to produce an interactive digital device method design that can detect ideal comfort and be applied to workspaces. The result shows that as an interactive digital device, Arduino can be implemented in a workspace to detect and produce ideal workspace comfort regarding lighting, noise, temperature, and humidity. Arduino also supports flexibility and varied demand in a workspace because of its adjustable artificial intelligence feature. The ideal standard of workspace differs based on the activities and geographical conditions of the country and is related to the varied preferences of its users. Based on its complexity, for further research to be carried out, it is recommended to conduct a case study of ideal workspace interior design with an Arduino device in a specific place to generate more accurate data and suitable workspace design.

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultural arts, one of which is shadow puppetry (Wayang). Wayang, in a staged, simple, and minimalist manner, is called Wayang Climen. Wayang Climen has been performed since the COVID-19 pandemic as a solution to keep working while still complying with health protocols. Utilization through YouTube social media attracts people to watch and provide opinions through comments. This opinion is beneficial and can be used as a feasibility study through sentiment analysis information classified as positive, negative, and neutral opinions. Sentiment analysis determines a person's opinion and tendency to opinionated sentences. The methods used are Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Naïve Bayes (NB). The dataset comes from YouTube comments of Dalang Seno and Ki Seno Nugroho. The best accuracy is generated by SVM (70.29%). The positive sentiment shows the public's appreciation for the Wayang Climen performance, which ultimately represents the performance even though it is staged densely. This research contributes to effectively utilizing digital platforms for cultural preservation and audience engagement during challenging times, demonstrating the potential for innovative solutions in traditional arts and entertainment.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the use of digital mapping and GIS in combination with 3D geo-visualization in depicting landscapes and cultural heritage sites. As computers evolve in their processing capabilities (graphics card, processor, memory speed), so does the graphical output representing our world that can be done in less time. Short processing times and available highly sophisticated software create conditions to test existing models of our 3D world or best create alternative renderings of monuments and landscapes. A study area has been chosen to present such a methodology. Ancient Pylos was selected as the study area due to the abundance of bibliographic references available, facilitating the creation of a cartographic representation of the region based on archaeological discoveries and historical sources. The advantages of employing 3D geo-visualizations in archaeology are numerous and are examined within this article. Visual imaging aids archaeologists in elucidating intricate or deficient details pertaining to a monument, simultaneously streamlining archaeological data for easier comprehension by the general public. The use of 3D geo-visualization to represent data and other non-photorealistic details is expected to dominate in the near future.

Music festivals are social and cultural events mostly seen as activities to present artistic expressions for the audience to enjoy. If it is investigated closely, the presentation of work at festivals is the final culmination of training and learning, both of which are essential elements of the educational process. This research aims to examine and show that music festivals have educational elements, even in the context of tourism interests. The music festival studied was the Angklung Caruk Festival, a type of traditional music from the Osing community. The festival competes for musical skills between student angklung groups in Banyuwangi, East Java. The research uses ethnographic methods to discover and explain the intersection between festivals' education and tourism dimensions. Data collection uses participant observation techniques, interviews, document study, and documentation. Data analysis uses an ethnographic model, including domain analysis, taxonomy, components, and cultural themes. The research results show that the Angklung Caruk music festival is an arena for competition in the beauty of musical works between student groups to achieve victory. This competition has become a tourism commodity packaged under the title Banyuwangi Festival. To present their best musical works, each angklung group receives intensive and profound education from professional musicians, with the support of the school, government, and parents. Thus, the Angklung Caruk Festival is an arena for reproducing Osing traditional music culture which has an economic and educational dimension. It has an impact on strengthening the identity and social repositioning of the Osing community in the present and future.

This research aims to conduct a semiotic intertextual analysis of beauty influencers on YouTube. Specifically, the study centers on two prominent beauty influencers, Andra Alodita, and Kornelia Meilinda, and their strategies for effectively promoting recommended lipstick products. The research was conducted employing a qualitative approach, utilizing Peirce's semiotic theory. The findings reveal that beauty influencers strategically employ visual elements to convey meaning and captivate viewers' attention. Both Andra Alodita and Kornelia Meilinda meticulously craft their content, considering factors such as color schemes, backgrounds, and object placement. They adopt distinct approaches to reviewing lipstick products tailored to diverse audiences and preferences. This multiplicity of perspectives enhances the complexity of semiotic elements within beauty influencer content and broadens the spectrum of meanings conveyed to viewers. Furthermore, the findings underscore the significance of semiotic intertextuality as a potent tool for beauty influencers to shape meaning, influence perceptions, and resonate with their extensive audience. These findings offer valuable insights for marketers, brands, and content creators seeking to leverage semiotics' potential in shaping beauty trends and consumer behavior.

Kelong, or 'singing,' is one of the main elements in the gandrang bulo dance. Kelong is usually presented simultaneously with elements of pakakkala' (funny) dance and drama/acting that are satire. Kelong is meant to be educational, while pakakkala' and satire are entertaining humor. So far, most appreciators are more interested in entertaining humor than curiosity about the meaning of the kelong. This paper aims to reveal the description of the kelong presentation portion in the gandrang bulo dance phenomenon. This article also tries to articulate the meaning of education and motivation to stimulate an awareness that teaches that life is not vanity. The implementation of the research uses descriptive qualitative methods by prioritizing the collection of musical data and verbal data as a unit of analysis. The finding of this study is the presence of contrasting and proportionless elements, giving rise to a quasi-encouraging audience appreciation of the meaning of kelong education. The significance of this research is to encourage the growth of creativity in the placement and utilization of kelong in its presentation in gandrang bulo dance, thus producing a truly encouraging audience appreciation

Drama gong is a traditional Balinese performing art that was once popular and favored by the Balinese. Since the 1990s, traditional art has been pressured with modern art, so efforts to revitalize and innovate drama gong need to be carried out. One of the efforts made by Balinese artists is to create a digital drama gong model with the name Drama Keraton Cilinaya. This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine the development model of drama gong performances in the digital era. Research data were collected through document study, participant observation, and interviews. The results of the study show that the development of the Drama Keraton Cilinaya as a model of drama gong in the digital era is a form of traditional Balinese performing arts that has undergone internal and external innovation. The internal innovations carried out involve: (1) having an open mindset towards the players; (2) innovation in terms of story packaging; (3) improving the competence of drama gong players; (4) the use of multi-language (5) the regeneration of players; (6) improvement of makeup and costumes; (7) using digital music; and (8) improvement of stage layout. The digital era has changed all aspects of life, including the aspects of the broadcasting industry. The presence of internet technology also presents a new system in the broadcasting industry. changes in the broadcasting system have also resulted in business diversification in the broadcasting industry. in this digital era, it has also tightened the business competition in the broadcasting industry such as Banten TV. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to transform and diversify Banten TV's business in maintaining the broadcasting industry business. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach by exploring the transformation and Diversification of the Banten TV Business, the paradigm used is constructivism with the theory of media ecology from Marshall McLuhan. Hasi research shows that Banten TV as the largest local television in Banten province transforms broadcast content by broadcasting entertainment and local wisdom such as the local culture and religion in Banten province. With broadcast coverage using a 5000-watt transmitter, it certainly has a potential role in raising local wisdom with a very wide radiance, the transformation of Banten TV broadcast content is carried out by raising a religious superior program with the name of the Sholawat program (Solusi Tepat Per erat Umat) as a superior program in raising local wisdom in Banten which is religious and also the exploration of tourist destinations in the Banten region. In addition to transforming content, Banten TV also diversified its business by creating television program programs in collaboration with the Banten provincial government as a strategy for increasing the company's economic value.

LORI SME (Small and Medium Enterprise), operating as a producer of fashion accessories characterized by local craftsmanship, encounters challenges in accommodating diverse customer preferences due to resource constraints. To unleash its full potential, there exists a pressing need to adopt innovative design methodologies. This research endeavors to investigate the application of a modular design approach as a strategic solution for augmenting the variety of LORI SME accessories, thereby facilitating the creation of a range of jewelry products that can be easily tailored and adapted to meet individual customer requirements. The study utilizes a qualitative research methodology, encompassing literature reviews, interviews with the owner, exploration of visual motifs and materials, and practice-based research. The findings of this research illuminate that the adoption of a modular design approach significantly enhances the diversity of LORI SME's jewelry offerings, particularly in the case of its necklace products. This modular approach provides SMEs with a broader array of customizable necklace options characterized by distinctive local motifs and high craftsmanship value.
